Can't enter factroy setting anymore... - MTCB Android Head Units Q&A

I have entered factory setting several times before, but now when I try I just get wrong password. I'm entering 126, same as before. Any idea? I have rooted it with the hct command and installed SuperSU... but haven't changed anything...

That happened to me when I upgraded from KGL v2.80 to 2.83. After reboot I was able again to get in with 126. So I concluded that something is wrong with that ne MCU. After reverting to old one, never again I had a problem..

solved.... it worked with 1688.... strange... whe did it change from 126?

into my O2 XDA Zinc. Whenever I set a password, do a soft reset, my phone cannot recognise my password anymore. I would like to know how to solve this problem too. I suggest you do a hard reset and do not set the password yet.

[Q] Factory test and minor problem... any ideas???

Hi,
I'm sorry if i'm at the wrong place, but i'm kinda stuck...
This is my probleme : I got a SGH-t889V (with the candadian Carrier Videotron), yesterday was my first try to root and install a custom ROM (my mistake!)
I installed a ROM uncompatible with my device...the omega 6.1 (compatible with N7100 but bot with my device i think...), well what happened after that is that i lost my network, no cellular signal...no imei anymore...nothing, just stuck with a big mp3 player
I finally was able to got my network back...by flashing the modem and read a lots of post on this forum, i made a restore from my nandroid backup, but now, when i boot my cellphone, i Got the message "Factory test stop"...
I tried everything, flashed many times...format everything possible! but still...
I even tried a FULL format factory reset with the commande *XXXX*XXXX# and the message is still there...
I read that there is a command i can put in /efs/factoryapp/factorymode but it's not working... i still got the message.
It's not very a big problem in fact, cuz i got the network working but there are many things who don't like my alarm clock, the lock screen, the power button initially give me access to a menu to reboot, silence or shutdown, now it only shutdown the phone.
So anyone have an idea?
Thanks in advance
Alex

Device forgets all saved WiFi passwords when toggling it off and on again

Hello guys!
I have weird problem!
I got broken OP3 A3003 (64gb model) and repaired it. It works perfectly but there is just one annoying fault that i cant seem to find answer to. The WiFi will not reconnect to saved hotspots after i toggle it off and back on again. Everytime i must give the password again and again. after i connect it works perfectly an no hiccups at all. just the reconnecting not working. I can see the saved network in the list but deleting it does not work. I havent yet rooted, im on latest stock and the bootloader is locked. Tried factory reset but same problem occurs.
Searching web and Oneplus forums pointed that there is couple others having same problems but no solution from anyone.
Do anyone have had any of this kind of problem and how did you solve it?
I like Oxygen OS itself but rooting is a must! after i can give logs or stuff if needed!
Update to latest oxygen os or open beta, if updating won't fix your problem then perform a factory reset.
Like I said I tried factory reset but did not help unfortunately I updated to open beta 38 last night but did not help either. 'm gonna try open bootloader and flash the firmware again completely and see.

Need help with my Huawei E5372-32. SSID & WIFI Key is changed upon factory reset.

Title.
The SSID & WIFI Key that is inscribe at the back of the device is not working anymore upon factory reset. I recall I did the auto-update and change the battery a few years back. It was working fine until I did a factory reset yesterday, which I find weird the default SSID&WIFI Key is changed.
What are my options? I believe the device still works just that I can't access it.
-- Anyway, since this forum is kinda inactive. I have already resolve my problem.

Erasing eSIM

Hi everyone!
Is there some way to forcibly erase eSIM, except through settings?
I tried to set up the eSIM, and kept getting endless network check. While reading the forums I got the idea to update my phone. Through the standard option in the settings (before that there was android 11, almost the latest version). After that, the option to add eSIM disappeared. I tried to uninstall the eSIM through the network reset settings. Nothing worked. Then I decided to try hard reset, and I saw the message as in the screenshot. Reboots didn't help in any way. And in the end I made a hard reset. Installed the latest official (before it ran on official as well) firmware via fastboot. And locked the bootloader. But the option never appeared.
Any suggestions?
