Hi Everyone,
Although I've been using this site for a long time to get information, this is my first post and I really hope I am posting in the right place! I have searched desperately for a way to do this myself but I've been unsuccessful and am now asking for help
Basically, I have a fault with the touch screen on my device and it's still covered under warranty. There are different HTC repair centers here in Ireland. I returned my HTC to one of them and it was sent back to me because it's modified. So to cut a long story short - I really want to get back to a stock rom, unroot and re-lock bootloader and send it back to the other company in hope I can have it repaired. I really have tried very hard to figure this out myself and I'm completely lost so I really hope one of you good people can help me out.
I'll try to provide as much information as possible.
I own a HTC One M8 (International Unlocked)
Bootloader Unlocked via the HTCDev Website
Kept S-ON and flashed LeeDroid ROM
All I want to do is get it back to the way it was before I messed with it.
Hopefully I've provided all the details you'll need but if you need anything else please ask me and thank you so so much for helping me!!
Allan!

First off, remove your serial and IMEI numbers from your original post.
Second: I'm in a major row with HTC at the moment over warranty. They claim that as I unlocked the bootloader, just like you, I therefore no longer have a warranty. They also stated that as I had illegal software on the device, I also no longer had warranty. Good luck with HTC. They are a bunch of pricks, in my opinion.

My office recently purchased a used HTC One M8 Developer Edition device for testing purposes. I was under the impression that it was stock, but I was wrong. It had TWRP installed. The system alerted me that there's a system update, but when I try to install it, it just boots into TWRP. I managed to flash the stock recovery back to it, but when I try to apply the update, it just boots to the fastboot screen, and does nothing.

You could just flash the developer RUU. Either Lock the bootloader and flash it via a PC (with htc sync installed) or put it on an sdcard and see and flash it from that.
Reading the Instructions helps. (PC Install)
http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-m8/news/
Latest RUU on their website is newer then the one you have flashed.
Thanks @Tachi91! I appreciate the nudge in the right direction!
very good hello, the next is for help, pardon my Ingres but use the translator, my native language is Spanish, I have a htc one free m8, a couple of weeks ago I gave a friend to change the room, he had unlocked bootloader and S-OFF was now returned to me with a GPE Romm, liquidsmoot 4.4.4 and S-ON, the rom is not to my liking, and I return it to HTC Sense, take it to my friend again and not know how to return it to sense, I need help please I can do?
Is the bootloader screen black or white?
Post your getvar all output (be sure to delete your IMEI and serial number, as these are personal data) as we need a lot more info than what you posted, in order to help properly.

But I believe you are not actually "converted" to GPE (white bootloader screen would verify this) and you can just flash a Sense ROM or restore a stock Sense nandroid, to get back to Sense.
@redpoint73
just in case, if it is a full GPE conversion, he can use this (due to the smaller system partition) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57631284&postcount=7
to Sunshine S-OFF again
I have no idea what's happened but all of a sudden my phone stopped booting up, from having looked around the relevant information seems to be the bootloader screen and "fastboot getvar all" so I've included those below. Does anyone know what's going on?

I removed the IMEI but nnot he MEID because the fact that it's all zero's may be relevant.
Another thing was from what I read the model ID seems to be European but the bootloader model seems to be telling me that it's a US phone. I bought the phone online so that may be relevant. I could be entirely wrong though! I'm from the UK if that's relevant?

You should also remove the serial number.

I agree, it looks like AT&T or Dev Edition that was "converted" by previous owner to be Euro (401).
I'd suggest finding the signed 4.16.401 RUU and try running it, to see if if fixes your bootloop. Any user data will be lost when you RUU.

Search xda and google for M8 return to stock. This should be the right ruu for your cid: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934518148
You will probably need to be s-off in order to run the ruu and lock the boot loader without it showing relocked. You may need to relock the boot loader for the ruu to run also. You really need to read as much as possible about returning to stock.

First of all, please delete your IMEI and serial numbers from the top post. These are private data, and should never be posted online (and no necessary for us to help you).
You have a couple major issues causing problems with custom ROMs:
1) Main version 3.30.651 tells us you are still on KitKat firmware (hboot, radio, etc.). You should update to Marshmallow firmware (6.20.651) using the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2729173
2) You have the Sprint version of the M8, which uses a different kernel from the other M8 versions. You should only flash custom ROMs from the Sprint Dev Section here, or there are also several ROMs in the "international" M8 section that support multiple versions including Sprint (but it will explicitly state Sprint support in the ROM thread).
ROMs that do not specifically support Sprint will fail to boot.
CM uses its own kernel, and probably supports multiple M8 versions for that reason. So that is why CM12.2 flashes and works properly for you.
