HTC Desire can't connect to mobile operator.

Hi guys, I have rooted my htc desire and flashed with it with Oxygen.
However I have a problem - my phone will not connect to my mobile operator?
When I select "about phone > status > signal strength" that shows -93db and 10asu - So does that mean there is signal?
The desire was branded and locked to Orange. At first I thought it was a simlock issue, but I have a unlock code. Every time I restart the device it asks me to input the code, however it still does not allow me to connect to my operator (O2 uk).
After going through a few threads I am stumped so I am seeking advice! I have tried different radio versions to no avail, different ROMs also so can anyone offer some suggestions as to the solution please?

this is not my phone but a friends who was warned
phone was working but locked to t-mobile uk
phone: htc desire/bravo uk so gsm
followed the cyanogen mod wiki
rooted using unrevoked - worked
gained s-off using alpha rev 1.8 - worked
removed sim lock (with help from an indian guy in a phone shop) - works with three network
updated radio (5.11.05.27) - worked
replaced stock rom with cyanogen v7 rc2 from sd using clockwork mod recovery - worked but no google apps
using rom manager and mobi network installed v7 rc2 clear data and cashe + google apps - worked but!
now phone does not alow access to mobile networks but detects networks. does not ask for unlock code.
tried re-flashing and checking everything.
please help
ps love cyanogen mod. works perfect on my phone
i'm still looking for a solution if i find one ill make sure i post it

Does any know the default radio version for a black orange htc desire?

1. Reset/restore your APN
settings - wireless & network - mobile networks - access points
You should see your provider and a check box. Press the menu button, select reset to standard and wait till it's done (or add manually).
The path was translated from german, so please look for the appropriate setting on your phone.
2. If your sd card doesn't mount or usb doesn't connect, search for usb brick fix here in the forum.
3. If 1 or 2 doesn't help, wipe everything (not your sd card!) and reflash your rom. After rebooting flash again the latest radio.

thanks for the responses, I have tried resetting apn but that did not work for me. I have however managed to solve this problem by restoring stock RUU and unrooting. I then reflashed oxygen and all is working fine.
My radio version is running on 32.41.00.32U_4.08.00.09 currently, however I will update this to the latest version 5 radio and see if my connection or simlock occurs. Do you guys think that a radio update is necessary or that I should keep the one that I have now?

[Q] [HELP] Stucked in weird issue

Just got Samsung Nexus Korean maguro variant yakju with 4.1 installed and with Baseband: UGKL1 and my network is Warid Tel - Pakistan. I used my local sim in as well and it was working fine. Today I tried to use custom 4.3.1 in it and so I done these steps:
Downloaded Nexus Root Toolkit, Android SDK, Latest Nexus drivers and all pre-requisites before starting. Now I first started to unlock my Bootloader with matching requirements as the tool already do this. Then flashed cwm touch recovery and applied root. I tool backup of my stock rom via cwm and then wipe all and installed liquidsmooth 2.7 which is jb 4.3.1 and it worked like a charm. What i noticed afterwards that the rom is reading my carrier details correctly but also showing Emergency call only warning as well. I tried Edge as well and it was wokring normally but when i tried to dial a call and tried to send txt it showed me Mobile network not avaialable. Then I tried all latest radio basebands on it, tried all settings SMSC and normal troubleshoots but couldn't get complete carrier support. Then I restored my default stock rom via cmw and boom no issues like it should be. Now my question is did I missed something for it? or am I flashing wrong basebands? or somthing else? After too many hours i felt that I cannot go further from here. I am attaching my screenshots. Please if anyone can tell me or guide me I will be very thankful to him as I haven't tried my phone yet, just got it. I had HTC evo 3d and its setup of everything never got me stucked like this.

Note 2 no imei, no signal, no GSM option in network mode.

I have a samsung galaxy note 2 my phone had wifi issue and was not updating to latest version,.(currently on 4.1.2) when i checked update it shows already up to date,
so I decided to flash a custom rom today, i flashed the ANDROID HD REVOLUTION 31.0 on my device but the phone got stuck on samsung logo.
I had beforehand made a full backup through twrp, so i restored the phone to old backup, but after restoring my phone had no signal so i went to check my network mode and the gsm and umts option disappeared and now there were only two option LTE/CDMA and CDMA(earlier there were around 8-10 options in network mode)
after checking imei no. there was no imei it shows meid and rest was blank.
in about>device status it shows baseband as N7100ZSLLB1.
in phone info
Bootloader Version : L900VPUBMK4
PDA version : N7100ZSLLB1/ N7105XXDLL1
CSC version : N7105TLADLL1
Please help me i am in a real mess, i will be really grateful to you.

have you tried flash your firmware with odin? may work

My imei has changed loads of 0000s, I've flashed official roms with Odin x4 and still no network so I know how you feel hun, hope you get lucky with Odin usually never fails..

just read about dr.ketan's fix/patch and hope you have backup.

Did you got the solution for this issue...I am having same mobile set and having same issue (screenshots attached). I am happy to donate if someone can help me to get my mobile back in function

flashing issue with 9195

i bought a 2nd hand s4 mini and still currently booting as a 9195 on screen, it is most definatley this version it has the fm radio which the i understand 3g one doesn't and 4g isnt showing up in options, the phone had some locked message when i booted into dl mode which was an issue at first but then rooted and installed twrp via odin that was not working till i rooted, i flashed the "correct" 9195 cm rom from his site and got an error telling me i had the wrong phone version and needed the 3g version rom, which ive successfully flashed both cm 13 and then downgraded to 12.1 whci is working ok more or less
seems odd as the 3g version is labled as 9190...any thoughts on this as 4g isnt showing up in the options and think that to do with the rom not my sim
its only a small concern as i hardly use mobile data though id like to a little and thought about flashing the r rmx rom? to see if that works

You probably flashed the 3g version of TWRP not the LTE version

hey thanks for that i tried flashing recovery via twrp app but got stuck loading, reflashed correct version via odin and booted ok, but from memory i know i picked the same (3rd on list) clearly labled 9195, i made a backup yesterday and thinking of trying to flash lte rom now and really dont want to go thourgh setting up all the app setting etcenought o make me stick with what ive got for now, this has become quite tiresome, my back up wont be compatible if i flash a different rom though right? do you know of an app that backs up app settings?

dude you're my saviour all up and running great and used titanium for my apps, noticed in the main folder for my s4mini downloads i had a 3gtwrp there must of used that ...

LG f180 / Optimus G No service disabled

hi hope ever one fine on this forum , i am having little trouble with my phone ,
i was using 4.1.2 android with no issue with signal at all
then i updated using recovery tool and install android 6 , CM 13 Unofficial geehrc v1 and gapps-600 all was working fine on phone after a month android crashed when i was booting it only logo appears and continue to load and load
so i tryed every thing to reinstall old version it using recovery tool and it installed back successfully but it also crash after 2 , 3 min it was very strange behavior , then i went to shop for repair and they flashed with android 4.4.1 kitkat but now problem is no IMEI number and network service is disabled so i just want to get network service back either with reinstalling rom or by flash or any menthod that can recovery my service back so please help me to get network back , mobile is showing U+ sign in left corner i thing it is korian version software installed may be that is the reason,
also LG f180L version only support korian sim network according to my thinking , well any expert can give better solution on this thanks for understand my story above

You have to install flash stock 4.1.2 F180L KDZ again (yes! the korean one). Regarding IMEI/ No service, no one can help u if the EFS partition is lost (because that contains the phone info to be registered on the network).
The bootloop u had at CM13 has even easier fix than all of this KDZ mess. When I had my E975, The problem I had was no signal in CM12.1/CM12 so I had to resort to CM11. The F180's are so much falling into this crossflashing mess that its difficult to diagnose what can be the culprit.
Get the JB firmware flashed and check if u have imei.
