Did you install it to see what it was? I don't see anything in my end in the upgrade assistant. Where are you located?

It's a glitch. I got that waiting for the 13b update, while I had 11a.
Btw, you're about to get some unsavory phone calls sunce you posted your phone number.
Same thing happened to me. I haven't rooted yet as I wanted to go to marshmallow when it's out, but the touchscreen issues are getting really annoying.

Just wanted to let everyone know to not use the Logging Testapp Prokey app on the market to remove Carrier IQ . Totally trashed my phone to the point of having to go to my friendly AT&T store. Luckily they replaced it. Strange thing is the replacement Nitro has no lag compared to my old one.

my phone keep doing the "booting loop", i wonder if i can exchange another one.
You shouldn't have a problem. I was able to get into the phone but everything was force closing. They took it back without question. You could even see the Superhero icon. I couldn't put the phone into debugging mode to unroot .

lol I had the exact same issue! I tried uninstalling CIQ manually and when I backed out of Root Explorer my phone started FC like crazy and with no ADB access I was screwed! I went in to AT&T as soon as they opened the following day to get a replacement.
I figured someone else would be as paranoid as me here, so that's why I posted my experience. So is your replacement phone better? Mine is completely different. No lag and even battery on standby is better.

It's sad that they have it embedded so deeply in the phone that it screws it up if you remove it.
Hope we get some dev support soon.

My first Nitro had a hint of lag when I first signed in but it sped up quickly and never lagged at all after that and my replacement Nitro has never lagged once I really hope we get some development soon, I'm trying to get someone to port the Thrill CWR for us.
My vibrator died. I even did a factory restore but that didn't help.
Any ideas I don't think phone is under warranty any longer.

Try using Kies and doing an emergency firmware update. It will ask you to input a model number. For AT&T it is SGH-I747 with caps and everything exactly as I wrote it. See if that helps your issue first.

This may or man not help, but my Captivate would sometimes do this with certain updates. I even thought about trying to replace the motor the first time and then after I updated to a different rom it was back again. Or maybe it was just a re-install. Either way, it did come back and I think it happened again once or twice as I tried lots of roms on that phone.
So my phone completely dies one day, I bring it to sprint. It won't turn on so they file insurance and order me a new one. When I pick up the "refurbished" phone it has no 3g from the moment I turn it on, til now. Months later. I've done almost everything I know of to fix the issue, all the reset ## Codes, many different roms. Lgnpst resets, exc. I've also never been able to update profile, prl, firmware on stock, It's always says Authentication error. I'm guessing it's an efs problem since I haven't tried the repair thing yet.I can revert to stock and get another refurbished probably, Just thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas, thanks.

Why didnt you have them replace it if 3g wasnt working
Being dumb at the time. Home And work is where I use my phone the most and they both have 4G signal and I was aggravated from being phone less for 2 weeks. Now I'm just curious to what the problem could be.

Go to Settings>About phone>Phone identity. Check the MIN,PRL, ESN, etc and see if they are all zero's. If they are, check out this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161498

Go to settings>more>mobile networks and at it to CDMA only. Not the one with LTE. See what happens. Then try updating profile, prl.

When It's on cdma only there's No data signal. It won't let me Update profile ever, prl sometimes says it's Up to date, but most of the time It won't Do anything either. Also I noticed this past weekend, I went back to stock from liquid and when It Got past the Google logo a blue square popped up That said something like 'software update, error "letters And #" will restart. When It restarted did all over again.

When you restore with TWRP, you have to use the same version as the backup was made with. So if you backed up with pre kk 2.6.3.0 you have to restore with that version.
So these issues with 3g, is it the same from stock? Go back to stock and try all the above. There's a stock rooted ROM you can flash in the Dev section. For your issue, don't use the deodexed posted there.
Try it all over and see if you still have the issue. If you do, LGNPST may cure you. If that doesn't do it, I'd get it replaced.

Twrp is wrong, Didn't see That when I flashed stock. I've tried all the steps with optimus De And stock deodexed, but Not odexed So I'll try. Thanks

Is there anything I can do to return it because I'm just not happy with it..I still have days left to return to T-Mobile. .I know I would have to return to stock somehow at least...Should I just Odin back to the newest Ota or the one before? Do they check often on the Knox deal?
Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Definitely Odin back to stock and then just hand it over. I'd be very, very surprised if they checked Knox. In fact, I just used my Jump to get this phone and the rep I dealt with didn't even check to see if my old phone turned on. He only checked for water damage and put the phone aside and handed me my new phone.
However, if by some crazy chance you get someone that actually knows what they're doing and gives you trouble, just go to a different store/s until someone takes it.

I have to send it by mail..
Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Well, that's a different story. I have read a lot of folks on here say that the people who receive these phones just completey reflash the stock firmware to the point that the phone is basically like new. That includes any kind of security features like Knox. I would think you should still be alright but I couldn't really say with confidence one way or the other as I've not had to mail in a non-stock phone before.

I purchased a used LG G3 (LG-D850) that was previously used on ATT. I brought it to T-Mobile. I can't update to Marshmallow. T-Mobile said they can't help me and that LG can. After two hours spent with LG, they've only told me that "We didn't make Android." I pushed for advice and they finally said make ATT help. ATT says once the unit is unlocked and there's a new sim card, there's nothing they can do.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. What is the easiest way to update? I don't need a anything rooted or anything. Or do I now?

There is still only 2 ways. Install an at&t sim or install a custom ROM.

I apologize for asking for such specifics but what is the easiest way to do the ATT route, because I spent about 3 hours with ATT on the phone and being sent to two of their stores yesterday and then they sent me to the LG Experience at Best Buy which consisted of one guy who knows LG phones who was not there and shows up "sometimes". This after ATT confirming he was there for me. See? I'm both ignorant and frustrated.

You need to go to Walmarts and buy a GoPhone sim, it will give you the ability to receive updates.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
So, get the AT&T Go Phone micro sim card. Put as little money on it as possible. Insert the card into the phone. Look for update. Hopefully find update and run it. Remove card forever. Am I getting this right, finally?
When I was at AT&T store #2 yesterday, they took a sim card from a demo phone and booted mine up. Couldn't find an available android update. Your process is different, yes?

No, the same. Sometimes the update takes a few hours.
Also I'm assuming you have a d850 running stock non rooted.
You also need wifi connection.

Correct about stock d850, non rooted. But now I'm confused. At the store, with an ATT sim card thrown in, Settings/General/About phone/Software Update/Update now showed no available updates. I'm still on 5.0.1.

All I can say, is that it worked for me, though I have since moved on to the Nexus 5x.
Good luck and if by chance it doesn't work (it should), you need to try rooting and flashing a stock based ROM.
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
This is weird.
I got the card. I called ATT to activate it. They said, hang up, power down, insert the att sim card, power back up and get the update. As soon as I hung up, and before installing the ATT card, it started downloading the update. Eventually it started installing the update and then stopped. Error message said that it suspected my phone of being a rooted device and therefore would not update the software. Odd. Okay. So I powered down, installed the ATT card, powered back up, looked for software update. My phone is on the ATT network right now (thru my home wifi still) but says no software update is available. I'm still at 5.0.1.
Any idea what I did wrong?

Try a factory reset (you will lose your data)
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA-Developers mobile app
Wanted to give you an update. I did a factory reset. Didn't help but then I went deeper. I guess the previous owner had some rooting software underneath it all. Spent some time removing it, going back to absolutely stock. It took more effort but eventually I got it. I'm at Marshmallow Level. Thank you.
