Just done a test here in mid-January's California hazy sunshine. I took a 30% charged N5 and began charging off a 2A mains charger and let it run for a while, then unplugged and plugged into a solar panel and let that run then from the screenshot you see the steepness of the charging is the same, so solar can be as fast as mains power. Look in detail you see a small dip in the charging when unplugged it but the before/after lines are parallel.
This solar panel on sale for $43 at the moment.
Works on my N7 2013 too, charged it fast.

Holds the Nexus 7 well:
Side piece can be pulled to the side....
So the Charging pad can be removed/replaced if need be.
Can't wait to get a case in and test it with one on
I should have been more detailed in starting, only the supports were planned out, the rest was done on the fly, but I might try making a blueprint of it in a few days if it stands up so others can make one and just modify the charging port for other Qi chargers.

This wall charger hasn't disappointed me and I'll bet it wont for you
Its a really good up-to-date kind of charger with not only a advanced look but for the fact
it charges your devices faster up to 75% then your normal regular charger. I'd say this is better :good:
then the original chargers I got for my LG Realm and Alcatel One Touch f2.
More to the fact this wall charger has ,not one, but TWO usb slots. Two devices charging faster then
just one. Its like killing two birds with one stone. :highfive:
I strongly recommend this! It even comes with a cute blue LED light in the usb slots.

Just to share an excellent QC 3.0 car charger. I bought it along with the Axon 7. It is fast, even when using an old micro-USB cable+adapter, and it doesn't heat up even after more than 30 mins of charge. It also has another USB port for standard 5V USB allowing up to 3.1 amps at the same time through the second USB socket. It is also inexpensive and fits perfectly into the 12V car socket, with that I mean that It doesn't come out with vibrations. So no no-battery surprises when using navigation software. In my case the blue light ring fits perfectly to the color of the rest of the dashboard lights. And it is also very small.

I tried the battery guru app myself and got 12.4W charging, I expect it would be higher but my battery was already at 80% and the charge rate normally starts to drop around 80%.
edit: I got 16.6W when i charged from 60%
Charging rate is due to havering a quick charge 3.0/PD3.0 charger and a quick charge cable, If your only getting 7.5W it has to be one or both of these at fault.
Also the charger talks to the phone during charging and may reduce the charge rate for a number of reasons.
Also you should get a "lightning bolt" icon on your lock screen when your phone is fast charging.
Used a xiomi charger charged quickly I think I used it since 25th April as that's when I got the Redmi note 11 pro and tried that charger and it's quicker than a Sony charger I used I took of adaptive battery off to charge quicker

Unless it's the 65W PPS charger, you're not charging at full speed.
Please don't use random chargers with this phone unless you know they are compatible or you accept slower charging speeds.
Thank you I appreciate the advice I'll get photo now of the Xiaomi charger and the Sony one I use I don't use any other charger
I can't be bothered fighting with breaking neo thing and can't seem to rezize this is the Xiaomi charger
