Wouldn't it be easier to just toggle airplane mode on and off than doing all that? If airplane mode works you could just make a tasker task or an init.d script to do it for you on boot and your problem would be solved automatically.
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

what I did is working it restarts the connection automatically and the network is ok
Enable LTE rams discharge

[Q] SIM Blocked

When trying to change my SIM Card pin my phone just locked up and went to a screen that says:
Emergency Calls Only
Please see the User Guide or contact Customer Care.
It's on T Mobile UK and has been fully rooted, and is running the latest CM7 build.
When i go to enter the PUK code, it allows that but does not come up with an option to click next, and when i press dial it just tells me that it's not an emergency number.
Any ideas?
I have worked it out. If anyone else has this problem then this is how i solved it:
Tap Emergency call and enter the following sequence using the keypad: * * 0 5 * [PUK] * [new PIN] * [new PIN] #

[DEV][ROM][JB 4.3][Unofficial] PAC-man

Issue:
No BT call.
Broken audio in VOIP (viber,skype,teamspeak etc). Tinyalsa would fix that, but it breaks calls.
Mic key (voice search) works, you need to enable: settings -> system -> hardware keys -> enable custom actions (check) and app switch set to voice search.
To get home key logn press action: settings -> system -> hardware keys -> enable custom actions (check) and home key (long press) set to Recent app switcher
When you upgrade, phone app may not work, you must remove the shourtcut, and readd. (thanks scotte9999)
Sometimes it stuck boot logo (cm,samsung,roger), please remove the battery and wait atleast 5 minutes,
Offline charger, you can leave with removing charger and holding power button for 2 sec, and glide will boot.

Thanks for the quick reply man, flashing as we speak; haven't updated my ROM in ages Will report back any findings.
edit: Apart from some text to speech crashes, everything's peachy so far
so far so good gooodwork!
flashed, no problem so far (except the known issues). No lag wake or delayed-until-wake SMS seen, but i've just flashed the ROM for 12 hours so I can say that they are reduced, but i'm not sure if they are fixed or not. I prefer the old style quick setting button, but this is good tho
Wow, I was surprised at how functional this was for how new the thread is.Everything I've tried has worked with no issue (basic functions, data, a2dp bluetooth, sd card, wifi, gps). going to try and Wifi tether and actually trying to use the "phone" functins when I get a chance.
One thing so far, I don't think this has been said, is that the recents takes forever to pop up (like 6-7 seconds!). I tried remapping it away from the home button, but it still didn't speed up.
Also, where do I customise those handy shortcuts in the recents? and wtf is a ribbon?
it looks like there's some problem with the WiFi toggling.
Action: pressing the WiFi button on quick setting panel and the quick pulldown menu
Expected result: the button flipped and show the new icon indicate that the WiFi has been turned on
Actual result: the button flipped, but the icon is still the old one (it's the icon when WiFi is off)
I tried going to setting and press the WiFi button, it switched from "Off" to "On" and stayed there for about 10 seconds, then switched bak to "Off" again.
It's pretty rare 'cause I only met this twice after 2 days using, a reboot will solve the problem.

Question for you, since I am currently running PAC do I need to do a complete wipe/reset prior to flashing this update?

better, but not must.
Phone app changed, so you must remove shortcuts and readd.
Bug: when you try to use the navbar widgets, the system UI get crash.
Sent from my SGH-I927 using xda app-developers app
Today I got a lot of "Cell Broadcasts" messages, contents are unreadable (only weird symbols), this ended after a reboot, anyone ?
BTW, when plugin in the charger while the phone is off it displays a charging icon (a circle with a battery), normally it will automatically turns on the phone when the battery reaches - let's say - 15%. But to this ROM it doesn't, I have to do a manual reboot.

[Q] Do not select LTE on Samsung GT-I9195

Greetings to all. There is a Samsung GT-I9195 Galaxy S4 Mini LTE, operator MTS, sim with support for 4G (tested on another phone - LTE appears at once), the firmware 4.4.2, item selection LTE / WCDMA / GSM in the Settings menu is selected, but the phone in any does not want to catch 4G.
Also there is a strange feature in the service menu, in which I go through the program Advanced Signal Status (incidentally a good substitute command * # * # 4636 # * # * which is closed in the latest firmware), do not select LTE only, not selected EvDO only .
Can someone tell me what is the problem and how to fix it?
Try flashing a stock ROM again.
install different firmware was 4.2.2 and 4.4.2, and the result of the same everywhere, do not select LTE only, not selected EvDO only

Anyone interested in unlocking their S6 it's fairly simple. Root and activate the hidden menu (directions are in xda verizon thread) and from the menu you can enable GSM. I have fully working voice,text and edge/LTE data. I have only tested on T-mobile
GUIDE TO GSM UNLOCK S6:
* Root Phone (Use Ping Pong root)
* Enable service menu
* Insert GSM SIM card
* Dial *#27663368378# -This will put you in service mode
* - UE Settings & Info
- Settings
- Protocol
- NAS
- Network Control
- Band Selection
* Make these selections above
* *Make sure you use the more button in the upper right corner to go back if needed(Back Key on phone will exit menu)
* Choose choice 7 “LTE/GSM MODE ONLY”
* Reboot
* Go to settings/Wireless & networks/more and it will allow you to add the correct APN
* Change preferred network type to LTE
Let me know if you need clarification. I don’t have the phone in front of me currently but am pretty certain that is everything

force lte j200m rom excustom

try with the combination * # 0011 # enter the first menu, then with the options back-Q-back-0000 never enter the next menu wait 2 min and nothing, try also without back and interleaved back and nothing
