Can't not access bootloader and stuck on bootloop - Wileyfox Swift

Hello,
i was trying some custom roms and the latest nightly build from cynanogen for my swift, but got somehow stuck in a bootloop.
Now i also can't access the bootloader. If i press volume up and connect USB the device is not booting and there is no device shown if i use "fastboot device".
I am still able to boot into recovery, but flashing any rom is not working, because of the bootloop.
Nevertheless i can boot to the bootloader from the recovery, but no device is recognized.
Any suggestion or is my device bricked?

Since you can access recovery why don't you try flashing Cyanogen OS using adb sideload?

Thanks for your hint, but i managed to access the bootloader. I could't access the bootloader because my battery was empty. After it was charged for a while i was able boot into the bootloader.
I also got rid of the bootloop by erase some partitions like described here or here
After that i was able to flash the current cyanogen nightly again.

If sideload still not working, you should consider the stock rom. Then backup, then flash the custom rom.

I am using Stock due to Cortana coming

It's gonna be a while before cortana comes to Cyanogen OS since it's still US only.

[Q] My HTC one X is stuck in a bootloop....help needed

G'day guys,
I tried to install the CM 11 Rom on my phone (HTC One X 2012 international model), i unlocked the bootloader on the Htcdev site, rooted the phone successfully,
then i rebooted in recovery using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.0, made a back-up rom then wipe data/factory reset and installed CM 11 rom (cm-11-20140804-SNAPSHOT-M9-endeavoru.zip) and
it came up with Status 7 error and install aborted.....and now it's stuck in a boot loop, when i reboot it boots back into the Clockwork Mod recovery
I tried turning it off and restarting, i've ran the battery down but it still reboots in cwm recovery...
Is there anyway to fix this or have i stuffed my phone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Too old recovery you must to use TWRP6.0.1 or higer to be able to install CM11 becouse is KitKat based rom read the OP in CM11 thread and download correct TWRP or CWM. Try with this CWM6.0.4.8
Thanks, I downloaded the CWM 6.0.4.8 like you said, now i have to try and get it out of the boot loop, I've tried about 6 different sites and their methods to fix it but none of them have worked, its still stuck in recovery mode.
My phone doesnt even register when i plug it into my pc either.
Is there any advice you can give to help with this?

Tried to flash boot.img, pressed enter and it stayed on "waiting on device".
Got into bootloader on phone and even tried a factory reset and got nowhere.
Everytime i selected an option in bootloader ie. fastboot, recovery, it just reboots into recovery.

Flashed TWRP, now I have no OS

Ok, unlocked my bootloader via the command fastboot OEM unlock, then I flashed TWRP 2.6.0.0. I pressed Start on the bootloader, the my Nexus went into recovery mode, so I tapped reboot, and TWRP said No OS Installed!. Now I know this is a soft-brick (how can it be brick since there is no OS?) since I can restart my device. I would have just went and reinstalled a factory image right, but I am here asking if I can just install Cyganmod 10.2 instead, even though Android is gone?

It will boot but it now hangs at the boot animation
Please, describe, what exactly you want to do?
Stock rooted ROM with TWRP?
CM or any other ROM?
Or a what?
You can. Why an old as **** twrp and rom though?
If this is a newer build, man date 12/14 or later you need to use multirom TWRP. See here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013/nexus-7-2013-qa/mount-recovery-t3064562

Unable to flash custom recovery

Hi,
I have the Find 7 with the new display panel.
I wanted to flash the latest version of TWRP but failed. I do not know what I did wrong.
I can use adb and fastboot without any problem. When trying to flash recovery, it says there that the flash was successful but when I reboot to recovery, TWRP was not installed and the original Oppo recovery is still there.
The bootloader is unlocked. And I tried relocking and unlocking again but to no avail. Whenever I use the command "fastboot oem unlock", nothing happens to the phone.
I am currently on spectrum. I want to try other roms such as the lite COS 2.15 and also maxwen roms since that only those supports the new panel.
I am also trying to get root for my phone and it is impossible without custom recovery.
Thanks for any help.
I had poop loads of issues with getting custom recovery on my Find 7a. Eventually I used these instructions:
http://community.oppo.com/my/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=996
They work. Don't know if it's the versions of ADB or Fastboot or something.
Give it a go

This is what a forumer from the official forum said and it works:
After you had successfully flash recovery via fastboot, you MUST NOT reboot the device. AFAIK, if you reboot the device it will restore the recovery back to stock oppo recovery.
So instead, you need to immediately press vol down & power button on the fastboot screen. Keep holding the button until you see the TWRP recovery screen. Hope that helps. Cheers!""

Unlocking bootloader erases data?
Mine wouldn't flash recovery. It said successful but I still had oppo recovery 1.2 and it only worked when I found the latest official twrp over version 3. after flashing, I disconnected usb and then held down power button to shut the phone down. It then was able to boot to twrp ok.
I used the latest one.

Help Please. Soft-Bricked Device

Hello all!
I recently flashed the 4.16.xx firmware to my device. I am now stuck on the Bliss Rom bootscreen for some reason. Booting into recovery takes me to stock recovery and the phone isn't being recognized through ADB on several different PC's.
Am I screwed here? Any options?
Thanks for any input.
Try going into the fastboot option from the hboot (or called bootloader to many people. To get to hboot, do power and volume down when the phone is booting up. ) and try flashing your TWRP recovery from there. Also make sure your drivers are working.
If you don't know how to flash recovery just Google it, you should be fine.
Dw, dont panic, it'll be fine xD

Stock recovery is the logical result for flashing firmware, unless the firmware was hacked to remove stock recovery.
adb not working, is also normal. You need to be in OS or recovery to use adb commands (and I don't know whether you can with stock recovery). adb does not work in bootloader.
If you flashed an official firmware with s-on, then not boot is also the expected result.
You need to unlock the bootloader again, flash TWRP back onto the phone, and flash a ROM.

Hey thanks for the reply!
I figured it out finally and forgot to update the post. I ended up finding and flashing a Lollipop RUU from the SDcard and that got me booted up. Then I just had to re-flash TWRP, re-root and flash a new rom.
All is well now. Thanks for trying to help out.

[HELP] Mate SE in TWRP bootloop after installing openkirin lineageOS beta 4

Mate SE, installed TWRP 3.2.1-0 Pretorian80 Edition then installed openKirin lineageOS beta 4. Went to do a factory reset and now TWRP starts on startup but does not get past the loading page. Tried rebooting into bootloader, using the button combo or adb reboot bootloader only brings TWRP back up with the same issue. Any ideas?
From what I understand, you need to flash lineage via fastboot. Did you do that??

Yeah I launched the bootloader and used fastboot to flash it. The flash went through fine, then it rebooted and asked if I wanted to factory reset the device and I selected yes. Now it won't shut off, it only reboots into TWRP's loading page and sits there.
I should mention I have access to some ADB commands now but rebooting into bootloader won't work.
EDIT: got it working, just had to time rebooting it and plugging it in and holding vol- and power correctly, took me 30 or so tries, fml

Directly from OpenKirin's install guide:
"TWRP and other custom recoveries are not supported! Please ensure you have your device’s stock recovery installed. If you install the ROM with a custom recovery, we cannot assist you with any issues which may arise."

Yeah....I skipped over the sentence saying "please ensure you have your device's stock recovery installed" and thought installing it via fastboot without using TWRP it would be fine. It was not. IMO they should make the warning more dire.
All fixed and working now, thanks for your input.
How did you get it fixed?
