so my sister recently got a samsung galaxy note 2, it's previously used by my aunt. the note 2 was running so slow, crashing, freezing and lagging all the time, so i rooted it to get rid of all the pre-installed bloatwares and to manage the cpu clock speed, i deleted MOST of the pre-installed samsumg apps and it worked really smoothly for about a day or so. the next night my sister turned it on and it showed "unfortunately, Touchwiz Home has stopped working." i clicked "ok" but it kept showing the message. i cleaned the cache partition, clear touchwiz data, even factory reset but nothing worked.. pls help?
You may have removed too many apps. I suggest flashing back to stock rom and start over or flash a custom rom with no bloat ware.
try fixing permission in recovery

Holy Hell!
I was posting to XDA via the XDA app and started to get an FC error for android.process.acore via Launcher Pro, I got stuck in a loop of retry's and close's and report's and finally pulled my battery to get out of it. When I rebooted *everything* was gone. It was like I had just purchased my phone *but worse*, no Google Apps were present, no Market, no nothing!
Anyone have *any* ideas on this?
Edit: A factory reset brought back Google Apps, so I was able to download Ti and restore my apps and data but, I'm still at a loss as to the cause and how a simple FC could do so much damage.
Well hello! As you can already see I am a newbie into the site and the rooting community. I used odin to download CWM. I was happy I was able to root my S3. I then decided to back up my phone and apps blah blah blah. I rooted my phone to get the Premium Suite experience and I saw Hyperdrive RSL11 was close. So I saw a post on how to flash it and I was successful. I used Titanium and I got my phone back to normal. I then started to have problems. My Play store didnt want to allow me to download apps giving me an error ans such but i just erased my kelvin and cache. Once I restarted everything got worst.
The Play store situation got resolved, but now whenever I tried to open the message app it would freeze. I would either had to pull the battery or wait until it unfreeze. Now its just slow and freezes randomly when I open some apps. How do I fix this?
Sorry for the noobish question. I couldn't post on the official thread. I am starting to learn more by the hour.
I did a fresh install of the newer version of Hyperdrive RSL 12. Still freezes occasionally.
Don't restore system stuff, only data apps (play store apps)

Root apps like Tasker Secure Settings, SuperSU, Titanium and others.
also tried several things before:
Cache deleting, killing superSU app data (therefore root apps not getting root again) or deleting recent root apps.
even a system only restore doesnt work
Basically every like half hour or so on my tablet (currently on NG1) has a "Unfortunately Samsung KNOX has stopped" message and will sometimes lag out my tablet to the point of it soft-rebooting.
I've already tried a factory reset on it through the recovery (teamwin) and have cleared the cache and dalvik cache but can't figure out what else to do. It has been rooted, custom recovery, and has the BEASTMODE kernel on it.
This error is driving me insane because I can't figure out what's causing it. Any help guys?
I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) using the "XDA dev thread as per instructions" and come across a problem that the internal memory in the internal storage got filled up from 4.5 GB to 565MB. I used Odin 3.7 version.
Then I Un-Rooted it after googling it because of the memory problem and used "Triangle Away" while in midst of the "Cleanup" process of SuperSu i forced stopped it (cause I thought it was stuck) and Uninstalled the apps that i downloaded and then did a clean up afterwards again using SuperSu (which it did pretty fast) after installing the official firmware and rebooting the phone.

Facebook apps show black screen and won't open (but now they work instead of few others)
The apps from the play store won't install and get stuck while in between installations (like upto 78% downloaded and get stuck).
Rooted now again and Busy Box isn't working it says it encountered an error (it says try sometime later.. no installation error given).
