Skip the "unlocked bootloader bootlogo"? - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey,
how can i turn off the massage that my bootloader is unlocked? Can anyone upload a imgdata.zip flashable file without these files?
Thank you very much!

I haven't personally used it, but you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...-change-bootlogo-images-imgdata-tool-t3240052

Thank you. I've used this already but i cant delete the Files. Only replace with "black" and then the pic isnt skipping... it shows black..

What are you trying to flash?
Are you doing it via SD or via PC? I would assume via PC since you got an error on your PC...
Can you try flashing via SD?
Did you unlock your phone? Did you try to load the stock rom?
You can probably just put the stock rom on the sd card, and load from there.

What ROM were you flashing before? Just use that one.
wizardknight, look at the screenshot... he's already HSPL'd.
Root of SD card == no folders. 0 folders. Just put the file on the SD card. Not within a FOLDER.

Never said he wasn't.I said the physical location of the phone had no relevance to the locked or unlocked state of the phone.
That would like saying cars can only go fast if they are in France. Completely illogical.

Try 7zip. It will open almost any container file.

and put it in SD card root
and start the boot loader
i push the power button to install the update
but got ERROR
SEE THE ATTACHED PIC TO SEE ERROR

Hm, it's trying to flash the bootloader... What ROM is this you are trying to flash? It might be a stock ROM which is not appropriate for your device...

I don't think logic has anything to do with this.... I don't think it ever did my friend, lol.
my mobile is of sprint,i think at start of this thread i put image of my mobile
RUU_Rhodium_S2_HTC_Europe_2.07.401.1_Radio_Rhodium _4.49.25.91_Signed_Ship
this is the file which i downloaded from htc website
i extract it with zip 7
direct me to the link of rom which can work on my device
If this is a Sprint RHOD. Then it should be a Rhod400.
Your screenshot does not show RHOD400.
If it is a sprint RHOD400, then this thread has CDMA wm roms in it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686903
on my touch pro 2 there in no logo of sprint
but when i power on it display the sprint logo
my question is that is my phone have sprint rom ?
and in pakistan ppcgeek website in block,so i cant access it
u have see the condition of my mobile before and after updating through SD card method also
in my attachment images
did u notice during updating from SD card method it give BOOT LOADER - ERROR
plz help me ,my phone is in this condition almost 1 month
You don't know what kind of phone you have for sure, you don't know what rom was on it for sure, you don't know what rom should be on it, you can't download roms, and you are about 5000 miles away. What do you want us to do?
Go find a repair shop. We can't help you.
i am using touch pro 2
it have sprint ROM Wm 6.5
i have recently downloaded ROM but it give BOOT LOADER ERROR
should i try other ROM also
what can be the cause of BOOT LOADER ERROR,is it due to wrong ROM VERSION ?
I HAVE CONSULTED 2 repair shop they keep my mobile for a week and then return it,
because in Pakistan we have shortage of electricity,so repair shop cant give time to my mobile.

You still have not told us what phone you have. There are at least 5 types of touch pro 2s + some knock off ones.
Sprint rom WM 6.5 does not tell us what rom you are running,
If you downloaded a rom amd it gave you boot loader error, then it must not work on your phone.
I suggest that you find another repair shop that will be able to fix your phone in less than a week, or just buy a new phone.
Good luck. You are going to need it.
i will try next 24 hour to make it run
i will try ROM from the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686903
but if still failed i will find better repair shop
when i try to download a ROM it give me error
(The file link that you requested is not valid.)
WHAT SHOULD I DO
waiting for your response

Download another ROM/find another link?
This device is getting quite old now, so it will become infinitely more difficult to find the appropriate files, with valid links.
Good luck.

Just fixed my 5x yesterday! Rooted it etc right out of the box and, presto, that warning. I'm having trouble with the link though. Here goes...
Or not. There's a thread with a flashable zip in here. I just Googled "corruption bootloader warning" sans the quotes and there it was.

so there is no official way to dismiss the warning? only replacing it with the tool?

nope. That warning will appear on devices with an unlocked bootloader. The only way around it is to re-lock the bootloader or cover it up with a bootloader skin like the material design one available on this site

Well. i didt lock my bootloader and it is till there.
i am not talking about ""Your device software can't be checked for corruption. Please lock the bootloader." (Orange)"
but about this one:" Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly." (Red)"

Ah. Sorry, I misunderstood the error you were getting. I believe that second one is due to a mismatch between the particular rom you are running and the vendor version. If you flashed back to stock using the latest stock images, I'm not sure why you are getting it as the vendor version should match (unless something else went wrong during the flash).

Notification & .IMG Extraction Help

Does anyone know how I can block the ATT voicemail notification from happening. I read you could go into settings>apps>phone and clear cache to get rid of it, but I'd really like to know if it's possible to keep it from happening at all.
Also, can a radio.img be extracted from a TWRP backup? If so, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me where its located and the correct method to extract it. Thanks in advance for any help.
I can't help you with the voicemail notification, but I can help with the radio.img
You can't get it from a TWRP backup. The radio.img is a part of firmware and firmware doesn't get backed up. You could download a firmware.zip and unzip it to get the radio.img. Or you can decrypt an RUU or OTA and extract it from there.
I'm assuming you have the US Unlocked model, since I don't think AT&T carried the HTC 10. If so, I have uploaded the radio.img extracted from the 2.41.617.3 RUU.exe for you, which you can download from here.
Any notification from any app: long press the notification, press the (I think an "i" that comes up), then you can change your preferences for notifications from that app.

Yes, its a Sprint model converted to Unlocked. Well, most of the reason I'm trying to do this is bc when I run US Unlocked RUU my IMEI goes missing until I flash the Sprint radio. So in that regard, would I be able to use a US Unlocked radio for any reason in the future? Thanks for the info, I'm going to try to extract one from an RUU using Windows Process Monitor.

Well the problem with that is for voicemail notifications, they fall under the general Phone notifications. So unless I want to turn of all Phone notifications like calls and texts, I cant turn voicemail off.

I don't think that will work to extract it. RUUs are encrypted.
Use this tool to decrypt/extract it instead.

Remove warning splashscreen (after unlocking BL)

Hello!
Is there a way to remove, or change, the warning splashscreen, the one after unlocking BL?
Thanks!
This has been answered a hundred times already. No, it can't be done
Sent from my ASUS_Z00A using Tapatalk
Hey there, not really sure, but this must be the right place to ask for some help..
Being a professional bugger, I have managed to accomplish the impossible... I think I have flashes 1 more Asus logo to my device. Now I got 1 warning, 2asus logos, and the rom logo.
Can someone share a method so I can remove them?

I’m not sure whatsapp you have done, but I can say that it should be normal. The first ASUS logo, I think, is loaded by the Google alert of a modified / unsigned system partition, and the second is loaded by the ASUS bootloader.
My Zenfone do it as well, but is not a question of flashing more than one splash screen, I’m sure.

Ahah thanks for the information, it must be as you say..
But, is there any way to remove them?
I think that it is possible to remove the warning, downgrading and upgrading all over again..
I have tried to remove the img files, but they come up again after reboot.
If there are commands to flash them, i think that there must be some sort of command to "unflash", or some file i could eddit, so the OS does not require to load them.

I'm having trouble restoring my bootloader to locked

I tried the RUU Zip way and I put the zip on the SD card and when I tried to run it it gave me the error 19 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i . My CID is BS_US001. I just want to be able to use Android pay. My bootloader is unlocked. If anyone has an easier way to lock the damned thing please let me know. I rather not root it at all. I didn't know the bootloader was unlocked when I bought it a year ago.
Your bootloader being unlocked won't affect Android Pay, you just need to go back to stock, and you're on the right path. It's probably just a bad zip.
First, delete any RUU.zips you have on your extSD
Download this
Rename it by deleting everything in the name of the .zip except for 2PS6IMG (and .zip of course) and place it onto your extSD
Boot to download mode and follow the prompts
After you've flashed the RUU.zip, delete it from your extSD. If you don't, every time you boot to download mode your phone will try to update again.
Good luck!

Why did you lock your bootloader? Just trying random stuff without knowing what you're doing?
Can you boot to recovery? If so, go to TWRP > Advanced > File Manager and navigate to /data/system/ and delete the locksettings.db file. Then you won't need the password anymore to decrypt and restore your backup.
If you're S-Off you can probably stop there, but if you want your bootloader unlocked, you'll have to do it through htcdev.com again

EDIT: Ahh, I forgot about what I responding to in that. I thought the response was a question about Magisk. So yeah, unlocked bootloader without magisk won't work. I was probably drinking beers when I replied to that
I quit worrying about passing safteynet as soon as Magisk was in Beta
