Hi, I wonder..if it is possible to add LED option notification change: (or is there?) to GMAIL. Coz dark blue is set as standard (settings, sound, led option) and cannot be changed or turned off. Btw. every new email turns off my Etherlords game help...LG E980, android 5,bountyman rom.

The game is so damn coool, yet Gmail notifications are minimalizing the apk and when I maximize it again the game loads anew and my progress in battle is lost.Dunnno what is causing it my LG E980 or Gmail or Etherlords itself...

So for starters, I'm running CM6.1. I'm having an issue where I get my LED notifications all working (i.e, green flash as default with all applications that are set to pulse the notification light, flashes even while charging and screen is on or off) by setting "Always pulse" in Cyanogen Settings. I then go to apply a theme through Metamorph and now my notifications flash orange, but only for Google apps like Talk and the stock messenger. I'm wondering if anybody else has had an issue with this, and if so, is there a fix? This is really annoying considering how long I've (and all of us really) waited for LED notifications to work properly on these AOSP roms.
For further info, I'm trying the flash the Nexus S theme featured here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=863110
Hey there.
LED indicatior for SMS, missed calls, not reacting well. I can't use LightFlow and similar app, because phone is not rooted (look complicated - or is there any 1 click rooting app? -2.3.3) Only on charging is orange, and when battery etc. That wouldn't be problem if notification light on trackpad could blink faster, and I suppose that root must be done too.
So, is there any app like "Nokia sleeping screen" on Symbian, to see time, missed calls and sms on screen in standby.

I don't think Widget Locker requires root, and you could make a custom lock screen that uses a widget like Pure Messenger to show missed calls, texts, emails, etc.
i don't think widget can solve problem, because notification should be visible all the time, like on Nokia sleeping screen. Or some program witch makes backlight light, trackpad light (faster, ex. every two second). I suppose for that phone must be rooted, so I need the easiest way - app that shows notification on screen all the time.
I think i found solution for LED notification and more- Missed Call Reminder (free, on Market) /also SMS/MMS notification /
Hey guys,
Im having a hell of a time getting light flow (3.12.8) to function properly running under cm11 (currently the dec 21st nightly)
my main issue is the notifications not clearing after i have viewed an sms, the led remains on with screen off and reminder vibrations still occur. there is an "alternate off monitoring" option in the SMS apps notification settings but whether on or off this hasnt helped. ive tried different combination of settings in the main app settings, those being root mode, direct mode, samsung root mode, usa and canada s3 mode (im in canada) and run in foreground but nothing has solved my problem although toying with these has gotten the app to work at all.
my fix for this has been to close all applications, disable light flow, close light flow, and reenable light flow and that will usually fix the problem for a little while but it always returns.
i have always had problems with light flow working, even before when running CM10, but after a lot of tweaking and experimenting with settings the app would settle down and function properly. im not having quite the same luck with CM11.
so let me know if any of you are running light flow successfully and could give me some insight on what settings you are using
OR let me know if there is a simpler app that allows notification editing. i primarily want to be able to control vibration settings for hangouts (not alterable in the apps settings) because i need a really long vibrate to be able to notice it.
I realised that when there's a notification, eg SMS, the LED notification goes off after a few seconds. This is horrible, cause most of the time I will glance at the LED to check if there are notifications for me before turning it on, and now I can't do that. Is there any way to make the notifications stay on permanently until you have cleared it?
I'm pretty sure there's apps in the Play Store that will fix this for you
I use mysms and that one can change LED color and time. But then you use mysms instead of LGs sms app. Mysms is like a sms cloud app so you can read and send your sms from computer or tablet.
Hi
My watch no longer vibrates when I get a notification or message. It's there if I look manually, but I don't get notified by it. It still vibrates when getting a call or a alarm, so the vibrate function is still functional.
Anyone have any idea what could be the reason?
Thanks in advance
Yup, noticed this too after updating to 5.1.1
This is happening to me too. I hope there is a resolution soon. Missed a meeting.
By design, the watch only vibrates on events that your phone would vibrate for. is it possible you hvae a setting on your phone that is set not to vibrate on messages for some reason?
Are these meetings in Google Calendar? For some reason Google turned of notification by default recently in Google Calendar.
- Go to calendar.google.com
- Go to Settings, Calendar tab
- 'Edit notifications' for your calendar name
- Add a Popup notification
Not sure why they turned this off by default. Pissed off many.
