Hi all,
I have a problem.
I just dirty flashed from OOS 4.7.6 to OOS 5.0.3 and I have a serious problem.
When someone calls me the phone rings I can't answer because I don't get the screen of the call.
When I call someone I don't get too the screen of the call, so for example I can't shut down the call.
How can I fix this? Maybe I miss some app or something
Thanks
Hello Buddies,
I've just recently noticed that when I hold the phone near my ears to listen WhatsApp or Telegram voice messages privately, proximity sensor doesn't switch the voice sound into earpiece and after a 1 sec stop, it will play loudly again through the loudspeaker. I think this issue has appeared after Oreo 8.1 update. As I searched on internet, the factory reset would not help.
In other cases just calls, proximity sensor works well and the issue is only with voice messages to be heard through earpiece.
Anyone got the point?

Same problem for my brother's Nexus 5X, also after the latest update (december 2018) for this device. No solutions?
I've installed the latest versions of Magisk, ElementalX and TWRP.

It's a defect that affects all third party calling apps. I called Samsung on it a while ago and Samsung won't admit it is a problem. I found out that it apparently has something to do with the phone operating system it is paired with. Therefore, I assume Oreo has some sort of 'feature' that has backfired and caused this and Samsung don't want to fix it.

I don't think it is problem with Android OS as Apple OS phones have same issue with Viber calls notifications.

Good to know. I tell you, Samsung even tried to tell me a couple of times that it never worked and has never been a function of their Smartwatch lines. I know this to be a load of hogwash and I told them so.

Hey guys,
I don't get notifications for WhatsApp calls sometimes. It's random and doesn't really follow a pattern.
I am guessing it happens when I don't open and use WhatsApp for a few hours.
Anyone else facing this issue and any ideas for fixes?
