I have tried to install most of the roms on Nexus 5X. However, I only success in Cdroid and ResurrectioinRemix rom. All other roms are stuck on boot animation. Does anyone have any ideas of what is going on on my device? thanks.

stuck on boot animation or bootloop sometimes happens because of non-compatible kernel
have u tried CyanogenMod?

I did the same. Downloaded the fastboot rom and flashed it via MiFlash. Couldn't flash it using cmd at first because there's no driver of redmi 1s for 32-bit os. Then tried MiFlash and it worked. I had to format all though, not formatting the storage didn't work out. It got fixed the day i posted this. Anyway, thanks for giving a solution (even if i already fixed my phone).
Well let me explain. I wanted to tether, so I thought I would try and root and install a custom rom. I used Odin to install TWRP, downloaded NobleRom, thinking that it should work, flashed it and all it does it sit at the android screen when I boot up. I did a wipe and tried to install a "stock" rom that is apparently incompatible. My phone is a 920P. Currently lost and looking for direction for a slim, compatible rom that works.
HELP!

I download and give this a try! Thank you!
The reason your phone won't boot is due to the wrong kernel and even then won't boot (as I've tried). What I recommend you doing is booting into TWRP and installing Renegade ROM its is currently one of the only stable ROMs for our phone.

That's what the post above suggested. Thank you for explaining why. So from what you're saying, each rom is based on a particular Kernel? What other factors must be the same? I'm sorry if this is a dead horse, just new to me.

OK, I just installed Renegade and it's sitting on the boot screen with Andy holding a dragonball and a phone. Did I do something wrong?

My Mi Max is unlocked, rooted and runs LinageOS 14.1.
I have been wanting to try out MIUI again and downloaded the recovery Rom from the MIUI Forum.
I have been using nijel8's TWRP but tried others.
Installing the ROM works with no problems but afterwards I get the message that no OS is installed and when I try to boot nothing happens even after 60 Minutes.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance

Thank you. But unfortunatly is does not make a differnece. Still doesnt boot. I have also tried every combination of 'wipe' with this Flash.
The ROM doesnt even boot. The Phone doest post, but it does not try to boot as in the boot Animation does not show.
