Need help BRICKED Sprint S3...need /data/log

Hey guys, I tried doing a format script, and apparently formatted something I shouldnt have. I need a copy of someones /data/log file. If anyone could use rootexpolorer or something and copy /data/log, or if your real nice, just copy the whole data file I would really appreciate it.
Im using the stock recovery right now and stuck in a bootloop. The recovery says Can't open /data/log/recovery_log.txt and copy_kernel_file :: Can't open /data/log/recovery_kernel_log.txt. When on CWM I get data errors when trying to restore nandroid.i

Fail, Update B114 -> B118

Hey since in A-H forum (german) no-one is able to help me...
I want to update my P6 from B114 to B118 but always gets fail..
I cant post a pic (because im new)
but here:

I tried:
-Another SD-Card
-Factory Reset
-Wipe Cache Partition
-Unzip the rar on pc, not on phone
-Options -> About the Phone -> Locale Update..
-Starting Recovery, try update about external storage - the dload folder isnt findable...in data browser on system himself, he is there...also on pc..
always the same bug..
am i able to set the phone back to B112 ? the update from B112 to B114 happend without any probs..
Please help me guys,
Btw, because im new here, i wasnt able to post in dev. forum.

I'm not shure if you do it correctly.
After you download RAR, you need to UNRAR it on PC, and than copy DLOAD folder to SD CARD.
Than you need to unplug the phone from PC, and than you start with local update.
If this doesnt work, try to download firmware from different souce.

Sorry, i didnt write it down correctly,
for sure i did unrar and yes i just had the folder on sd yet..
i unplugged the phone before.
And i tried 4 Different sources, (android-hilfe)
The guys in the german forum can't help me anymore..
Actually i rooted my p6..and tried again, didnt work.

Problem solved...changed format of sd and swaped it back again...gotcha b118...

Real Big Problem

Hey Everyone,
I tried my hands on installing cyanogenmod 11 for xperia m. Did not take the backup of the current ROM, and did not transfer the package file to the SD card. However, the Fastboot and Unlocking BootLoader went fine.
Now the situation is, Current ROM erased, no backup, cant seem to install the cyanogenmod package either by "Sideload" or "Push and install".
While trying the SideLoad method, i get the error "E: can't open tmp/update.zip" .
Dont know where to start and how to revert back. Please can someone here help me?

Seems like you messed up with your phone and i think i have a solution for that.
Firstly as u have mentioned that your bootloader is unlocked .
Download Androxyde XPERIA Flashtool from here.
Then install it on your PC , later install Fastboot and Flashtool Drivers (the .exe file will be there in c:\flashtool\flashtool drivers,u need not download separately) , as u are using Sony Xperia M , Check Flashtool drivers , Fastboot Drivers and Drivers for Xperia P,S when prompted.
Then Connect your Phone in Fastboot Mode ( by holding Volume Down button ,check for ur phone ) and Flash the recovery.img / boot.img which will be in the Zip file of CM11. Download Gapps for your phone Then copy the zip file and the gapps.zip into your sdcard and put that sdcard into ur phone and boot via recovery(holding volume up button). Then Do the following
Wipe factory/data cache
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
go to install zip>install from sdcard1>select ur Cm11 file
In the same way Flash Gapps too
reboot and Enjoy
It worked for me and i am sure it will work for u too. if it didnt i am so sorry i cant help u.plz msg me if u have any doubts

Sorry for being late, i kinda made it. I was only working with the Boot.img file and not the whole zip package. Copied the Zip to the SD and installed CM11.
Although i have one more question.
Internal is still 2.05, whereas Xperia M has 4gb of internal.
And also is there any way to swap internal with external in CM11. i have a 16gb SD Card.

i am glad u have made it and i heard we can make sdcard as default storage via adb commands but i didnt try it and i am not sure about any method related to it.

Well Firstly,
Android Version 4.4.2..........in wich i was unable to Write nythng in th SD Card..........i cant even install an .apk file....actually i was trying to install
new updated Whatsapp........wich is nt for tablets......
Accrding to the Instruction Odin 3.07 Helpd me to gt root access......oh i forgt, th model is SM-T311 tab 3 8.0.......
aftrwrd by means of ES file Explorer......i tried to edit platform.xml file.....but i failed ...........system was not allowing me to do so.......
thn i gt an app named Nextapp SD fixer....installed.....nd again i was facing th same problm .......stuck.d in btwn.........SD card wasnt allowing me....to do so......used titaniumBackup..........for backup......thn i restartd my device.......suddenly aftr rebooting .....msg loop generated on my screen......tht com.android.systemui has stpd .......thn i decided to restore my device .....remote restore ........using android device manager.....thn also tht msg is still popping out ....com.android.systemui has stopped .......tried safe mode access also.....but tht same old story.....m nt gttng ROM version.....i cnt even open my setting panel..in my tablet.........

Check your SD card on another device. The card could have gone bad (can't write, occasional problems reading, can't format). I've had it happen to me twice.
If system files are on the SD card, read-only can cause problems. Last time I had that happen, I believe I ended up reflashing a clean stock ROM and starting over
Recommend saving app data (not the apps as one of them could be the problem) before nuking your flash though.

The point is Katkat v4.4.x dont allow apps to write or install in sdcard, you just change The permissions to write.
In your case , install by a clean setup The Stockrom, root it, change The Permission to write on sdcard at Platform.xml with a root Explorer.

How fix sd card and allow all access program in android 6.0.1 t805 ?

my friend i have 2 problem with android 6
1 i cant access my sd card to read or write in adm
2 this version of android for all program question to access allow deny . its very bad for all program question allow deny

welcome to Marshmallow You can't read/write to your ext SDcard anymore, ask Samsung why. you can fix Titanium Backup (Search XDA).
TWRP can read/write, Root Explorer too. it's a hell of a mess, i'm back on Lollipop right now

i'm in 6.0 with my all devices and all can read/write the sd card , you need give allow autorisation at the application want , one time and will never ask

maybe I'm not quite getting it. does that mean that if you have music, document or movie on your sd card thar you cant play it??

Guys pls help.
ive flashed 6.0.1 official n rooted my tab sm-t700 and tried foldermount.I tried the patch for sdcard but it gave an error.Now after reboot it wont detect my extsd cards.Ive tried restoring the /system/bin/sdcard and /system/bin/vold files with no success.I guess they are modified somewhat.Can anybody share the original untouched sdcard and vold files for SM-T700 please?

MM and Samsung roms fully support reading and writing to the sdcard. All that is required is for the app to ask for authorisation.
If it doesn't ask it's a bad app.
ADM also works fine with MM and sdcard.
