[Q] Tracking SW3 Via Android Device Manager/GPS - Sony Smartwatch 3

Hi
My sister has a disability where she can become confused, disoriented and lost.
Not common need for sure, but I wanted to know if you can track a SW3 via GPS. (provided she has a data connection of course)
I don't expect to rely on it to track her, but its always good to have failsafes

The only way to use the SW3 to track her movements live would be if she took her phone with her, which had it's own GPS, so no help. However you could use it to record her movements while out and replay where she's been upon her return, but the battery on the watch would only last a couple of hours with the GPS tracking on.

"Unable to connect to store"

Ever since I updated to 8.1 Preview on my XPS10 months ago, everything appears to work fine other than the Windows Store. Every time I press on the tile, I get this error saying that I'm unable to connect to the store, and that it's either a server or networking issue. My internet connection is fine as I'm able to browse on IE, use Skype, etc.
It doesn't appear I'll be able to update to 8.1 unless this problem is resolved.. Has anyone experienced this problem and knows of a solution? I've restarted and done a recovery/factory restart/etc.. I'm clueless at this point.
Please check if you have these packages installed.

Those two weren't options on the list of updates, and I didn't see them listed in the updates already installed either... I've noticed I'm having issues installing certain updates as well. Even after a full recovery it just doesn't work. I think I'm giving up on this tablet and trade it in to look into the Venue 8 pro instead.

I'm giving up on mine too... but to buy the Surface 2.

I haven't, but I've done google searches about this windows store issue, and most of the people just copy/paste the same response for trouble shooting. I've attempted to try the methods with no positive results. Amazon is offering $150 to trade the tablet in, and I can probably sell the dock on ebay for $40-60.. I won't be taking a huge loss since I bought it refurbished from the Dell Outlet.
After checking that forum, I noticed some others have the same exact issues.
I have store connection issues on a windows 8 laptop and a windows 8 desktop. For me though it seems to be that it recognises any web connection below 0.5mb/s as not being connected to the internet. So I can browse the web fine on my home connection, but not open the store. Tether to my phone, store is fine all of a sudden (yeah, 3g internet on phone is faster than my home internet, yet people ***** and moan about how slow 3g is).

SD card can't be read

My SD randomly stopped being read, and I only discovered it when my music wouldn't play. The menu still shows it connected, and shows its estimated storage size/usage, but no file reader can read or access the card. I took it out and put it in my PC to format it, but my PC read it perfectly, and every file was there and accounted for. What could cause this? I'm not sure where to go from here.
When mounted does it permanently show a notification that it is mounted. If so, is their a way to turn that off?

i have the same issue...sometimes photos get deleted too...what seems to be the issue?

Locked out of my phone

Today I decided to switch from a pin to a new password. After I changed it, the phone briefly froze and then the settings app crashed. When I went to reenter the settings app, it was force closing when I entered the security subsection. I was locked out after leaving it alone, but the new password permits access to TWRP, but I cannot unlock my device after booting. Even my fingerprint sensor works, but as set by the settings, is requiring a password.
I tried to search for similar issues and haven't found any. Anyone got an idea how to fix this?
Perhaps the same way one clears the password after backing up and restoring with some type of security enabled. Allow me a moment to find a thread with the relevant content...

No SIM card, no wifi after upgrading to Android 10 (Verizon)

Hello, everyone.
I'm not sure what's going on here. I upgraded to Android 10 and ever since my wifi and mobile network drops after booting. They'll work for maybe a minute and then, boom, nothing.
I'm at a loss on what to do. I wonder if it's because maybe it installed an image that isn't compatible with the Verizon phone? I've searched for answers but didn't find anything specific to this phone.
Any ideas
To elaborate further:
When I say dropped, I get a message that says "No SIM card" under the mobile network icon.
Wifi stops being able to connect, doesn't list any networks, and will connect and then drop.
If I remove the SIM card, it seems like wifi stays connected and things work fine. Well, that is, wifi stays connected and I can keep using the phone.
Same problem after I upgraded. Terrifying to say the least.
1. Remove your SIM card.
2. Download all available updates in Play Store (specifically Carrier Services and SIM Manager).
3. Power off and re-insert SIM card.
4. Power on and rejoice over your Pixel working again.
I'm surprised more people haven't reported this issue. I'm also on Verizon so it could be a uniquely Verizon Pixel issue. By now I would've assumed Google would incorporate such a fix into the image but ... nope.
Hope this works for you (and any other Verizon Pixel 3 XL user!).

Mobile Data Stops for some time in Android Pie on OnePlus 3

Hello everyone!
I am currently located in Frankfurt, Germany and my phone was bought in United States by a friend ( a small detail it was shipped from China to USA, after the order was placed).
When I was on Nougat's last update, the phone was working perfectly fine, not a single issue.
After upgrading to Oreo, a lot of OnePlus 3 users including me faced the issue of "Notifications stopped" if the mobile screen was locked for some time. There was no option to fix this issue.
Later, OnePlus fixed this bug for OnePlus 5 onwards by giving the option of "Sleep standby optimization" which was by default on for Oreo and OnePlus 3 users cannot do anything about it since we cannot see this option in Oreo.
I was desperately waiting for Pie. Ever since I am on Pie, I am facing this new issue of Mobile data suddenly stops working for 1-2minutes then starts working again for 5-6 minutes and the cycles goes on. A lot of users reported this issue and the One Plus team said they will fix the issue in later upgrades. To this date, I am facing this issue on OOS 9.0.5 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Although the notification issue is fixed in android Pie this data issue is hurting me so much! A temporary fix that I do is by restarting it gives my mobile data life of 15 minutes and then again the cycles continue.
The icon of mobile data 3g/4g stays in the notification bar, just the receiving arrow stops working.
I am thinking of rollback to Nougat. Please help me
