I'm running Cyanogenmod 11 (KitKat) from arco (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588495) and I'm able to install the new Google Camera app. However I don't get all those cool features... They do not show up in the side menu, like they were disabled.
Happens to anyone else?
yeah me too

Probably the same as you. Many features of the new camera app are bot usable for Galaxy W users
-sad to say, it's hardware limitation..
-no matter what you do on softwares, without the needed hardwares, all but futile!
-salute!

Yeah good but be noted that custom ROM cam are not so good right now... So ZUI+Cam Port is what I suggest. Have a good day ahead

I don't think that will enhance camera quality much as it mostly depends on hardware.

Snap Cam from Qualcomm is good option to have instead of Camera2 while compiling, it is a better camera overall.
