I am on T-mobile and I can wifi tether & USB just fine without using "dun" on the apn settings. I actually get about 10mb/s more as well..
So my question is.. Is DUN really necessary? If so, what does it do?!

All of the files there suggest it's for Verizon. Does it also work for Tmobile?
Trave wifi app Should work. Or install custom ROM having native tethering enable.

ok im new to your forum im from the one x forums but anyways i got my hands on a tmobile s3 nd would like to unlock it to use on att, could somebody please point me in the right direction on how to do it for free?
I would use the sgs3 toolkit, as it works with all sgs3 carriers that I know and its very user friendly and has an unlock option with detailed instructions

I enjoyed the native tethering on the custom roms for the S3, do you guys think we'll have it for the S4 down the road?
Just curious everyone's thoughts.

Try the link below works for me I am on a stock ROM and it is working fine as it did on S3, I don't know if T-Mobile can detect this but I am sure they will if a large amount of data was used, do it on your own risk.

Could anyone get this to work on S4 ?

@ziainaction, you shouldn't have made a new thread about this, you should have posted this in the ROM's thread.
There is an unofficial rule in XDA, "Read more, Post less". I'm just trying to help you as you are new.
cheers...

Hello there,
I've recently started trying out the 4.2.2 ROMs - I have clean flashed (factory reset --> flash rom --> reboot --> wait) Pacman v22.0 (which I have been told has updated), BlackLiquid, and the rom by Team Dirt (both with and without Uber kernel)... But all of them have a similar problem. After rebooting and waiting, I always get the messages:
- Sim card has been added, restart to use it's network
- Sim card has been removed (something something)
Often, both messages will pop up one after another. Restarting does not solve the problem and the messages regarding the sim card still appears. I'm not quite sure what the problem is and no one else seems to have had this problem. If it helps, I'm with Wind Mobile (Canada).
EDIT: As well, I can connect to my wifi but it never works : (
If anyone has a solution, any help is appreciated!
I will also post more information as needed, though if logs are required some steps to how to get those logs would be helpful and appreciated as well
Thank you!

Ah no I have not... Does the radio get me onto those basebands?
EDIT: Also, from my understanding of this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1895400) the radio is for the US when it starts with a U? What if I'm in Canada, does that make a difference? Thank you!

No doesn't make a difference u need to be on either uvmc6 for T-Mobile or tlmc4 for the telus version, or Canada, https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...=vYbOpMSrljG1juwSPYvLHQ&bvm=bv.49967636,d.dmg here is the telus radio link, and here is the tmobile https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...=rqIKTm_zHMoY46YbzEpmgw&bvm=bv.49967636,d.dmg just DL and flash through recovery, if ur not on either of these radios u will get no service on 4.2.2
