Yureka 2.0 charging technology. - YU Yureka General

Will YU give us the update in future to reduce the time in charging the battery. I mean quick charge 2.0 technology which charges the device from 0% to 60% in 30 minutes.
Yureka is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 615 which supports this technology

Yes it does, you need a custom kernel for this. You can use any and unleash the power of Snapdragon 615

So Sandy's kernel will unleash quick charge 2.0 of yureka?

im using fast charger of asus zenfone 2 with cos12.1 it charges fast no need for custom kernel

Change the kernel and use the fast charger of Asus...result will be 4x

Is your battery is also not lasting more than 3 hours

Yeah.it used to..but after I changed to 6.0.1 and flashed Sandy's kernel.. + greenify I'm getting a really good battery back up.

Please send me the link to install the same you have done. Please guide me also to install it.
Will it cause any problem!

Go to YouTube and search how to root yureka ...and root it and follow all the steps in that video install a recovery .later in XDA search cm13 for yureka by santosh m and flash it ...later download Sandy's kernel and flash it.

@arnold991: this is stable rom and it can be rooted just like the other one. there is no need of a new method. Just do the same rooting method u used in MIUI6 dev build.

@manudduke: I didnt find much difference from the 5.6.9 build as of now. Iv been using the new build from 12 noon today and it has been 5 hrs now my battery backup is same as what it gave me at 5.6.9.So i dont think there is much difference except the ones tht they have written in the changelog. And heating issue is not there in MIUI6 once u underclock the phone from 1.6ghz to 1.3ghz. And this wont reduce the performance of your phone. Im using my redmi 1s with the underclocked CPU.It working fine .Guide for underclocking is there in other xda threads and in youtube as well..
Please press thanks if i have helped u in any way

Yeah. U can flash the new stable rom from ur current cm 12.1 rom. Please make sure your phone has a battery of atleast 70% ..
1.Download the miui stable rom onto ur pc and transfer it to the sd card.
2. Go to recovery and backup your data (as u will have to clear it for a clean install)
3. Clear cache, internal user data (u have to do this and its important!! as u are coming from a different rom to miui rom)
4. Flash the miui6 stable from the recovery itself and please wait for it to install completely.
5. Again clear the cache, internal user data (optional, but best if u do)
6.Reboot the phone and voila the new MIUI6 will be installed.
I hope u know to go to recovery right? In case u dont, switch off the phone and press volume UP & power button simultaneously and u will boot into recovery.
Lemme know how it went ..
Also here is a full guide on TWRP .Check it out and u will get all the idea u need to do

I'm on MIUI V5 right now and all I can say is that I'm happy with everything. Why?
1 ) The RAM is excelent,I can open Radio, open Chrome, then go to Facebook & then Whatsapp someone and still no issue in keeping those apps in memory if I want to swith to any of them.I removed some system apps, but I haven't compromised any necessary functionality of the phone in order to get more RAM.
2 ) The UI is good.I use Nova laucher,it has good animations(like lollipop, nice interface&features. Also a theme from MIUI store & some custom icons and that's it.
3 ) The system is overall very stable,I rarely get any anomalies like FC,not responding apps and so on.
4 ) The battery is good,I won't say great but it's fine,it gets me through the day just fine and still has some juice left.Anyway,an Powerbank is what everyone should own nowadays
5 ) All the other features that make a phone great are present, like : a good camera(back & front) , great sound in calls , good signal overall (3g / 2g ),no issues with dual sim cards, everything works.
6 ) Performance overall is good,I'm not a big gamer, but the phone handled good everything I threw at him, like Trial Xtreme 4,Fun Run 2,etc ...
SO,considering those things above and others which I probably don't remember right now,is it worth upgrading from MIUI V5 to MIUI V6 ? Thank you ALL !
I would say do a fresh install to 6 and not upgrade form 5.
My experience with 6 is excellent so far. It's a world rom so no bloat, unlike 5. You'll have to install GApps yourself. No fc on any apps, I get about 2 days with light to medium usage, no issues with 2g/3g. But what i htink improved the battery time was using a single sim. Yes it defeats the purpose, but where i'm located all carriers suck arse and suck up battery time. I definitely like the quick reply changes they made. And contrary to reports, yes it is rootable.
Yup . am also with nomadman. Miui5 may be good and fitting the purpose but miui6 is way better in battery management, UI and functionalities! Even though its over the kitkat platform, we don't actually feel that its primitive bcz of the skin it puts. And ya, do a clean install and not just upgrade from miui5 .

Xcelerate kernel is the answer to your qstn! It is an amazing kernel and many have used and reviewed on that and their user comments can be seen from its thread. It does improved my phones battery(with some other tweaks as well using synapse) ..Regarding the RAM, i cud say u wil have to clear the recent apps quite often to make the phone running.. I was using the beta version and i didnt feel any lag,as i dont keep any such apps running in the background. Also u have this permission manager in MIUI6 which just gives u all the power to control each apps and permit them doing various activities.
Check this thread regarding xcelerate kernel xcelerate . There are many other kernels as well, but this one is pretty efficient.

Which version is the best of AEL Kernel 5.1.1. ?

Can anyone tell me which version is the best of AEL Kernel 5.1.1 ?

Battery life for me was average, but I also had a ton of apps and crap on my phone too. If kept minimal with greenify it was decent. Personally I felt earlier versions held better battery life. As far as their forums go I was able to access it through Tapatalk.

You can also vary a number of settings including governors with Synapse that will increase battery life, increase speed an responsiveness at the expense of battery life, etc., etc., You can get it to behave just about any way you want. Last time I messed with it, I was getting phenomenal battery life. I just recently went back to non-rooted stock to take the OK1 update. I'll re-root and re-install AEL again when I get around to it.

Well I have some lags like when I want to disable an app, also the brighness drops and increase in loops for 3 minutes after I restart the phone once the rom is running, but it can happen randomly, it's not on automatic but on manual brightness. I will try a CM 13 rom based before downgrading just to see if it was an LG MM bug

But yes once per a one day or two at most my device freezes for 3 seconds.. But this is nothing comparing to the total better performance I've felt over LP

I'm also very happy with MM...found no bug in Genisys rom so far... try this to install it properly: install full V20B Stock Rom from CM 13 OP (the one compiled by Codeworkx) via TWRP. Boot it up! No need to do any settings, if it comes to that point, reboot into recovery via the (hopefully known) button combination. Then do a full wipe (including system) and install Genisys rom. Worked perfectly for me. Good luck if you will give it another try! For me, mm is the far better choice then lp!

After flashing this ROM and the ARM 6.0 nano openGapps, the system sat at the boot animation for awhile, reboot itself, and now it has been at the boot animation for an hour. I had earlier installed plain CM13 without issue; any thoughts on next steps for troubleshooting this? Is there a means to disable the boot animation so I can determine where the process is hanging, or a log file I might be able to access through recovery or the external SD?

I like this; I like having 6.0 on the S4. But I'm running into significant Bluetooth issues, which I know are common to CyanogenMod-based ROMs on the S4. I had much better results with BT when I ran danvdh's 5.1 GPE-based ROM (and I need BT to work, particularly in the car). Does anyone know if it might be possible to use the BT drivers from that GPE ROM to replace what's in this CM-based ROM, and if so, how I might go about splicing those drivers into this ROM?
Not that it should matter for the BT subsystem, but I've flashed the latest OK3 modem and LTE firmware.
Hello, this ROM is stable or in beta version? Thank you!

Yes. This is my first phone I've ever rooted and flashed roms to. I've went through a couple roms over time just testing them, trying to find one I like. I seem to like this one, I just wanna figure out how how to get fast charge back. This is the first time I've had to do anything with the kernel, so this is new to me. I was hoping someone could let me know what I can use.
