Hi,
I created a rom for the Xperia S for this forum and I share here.
This rom are based en Sony Stock .52 TURKEY.
Full rom specifications :
- It's based on the .53 firmware. It's stable, fluent, and probably is the one who consumes the least battery power. - Aroma installator : A graphical installatio of the ROM - Adding of a FRandroid recovery based on CWM (last version) - Bootloader unlock not obligatory to use this ROM - Many system apps a deletable. - Mass storage mode is availabl - Adding of the official "Superuser" App - Modified battery, network and wifi icons - Modified time, date and vibrator icons - Changing the color og the notification bar separation line - Changing the parameters icon in the notification bar - Changing the 3G and 4G icons - Screen unlockable with volume buttons (thx alex971) - deletion of the update manager app - Changing the Cross icon on the notification bar - Adding shortcuts on Lockscreen (with sliding) - Now we can choose the hardware button we want to use to unlock the screen (thx to alex971's mods) - Adding of Adobe flash player (facultative) - Adding of ASTRO file manager (facultative) - adding of youtube app (facultative) - adding of root browser app (facultative) - adding of JB/ICS wallpapers - Modification of an ICS picture

Install instructions:
- Go into the recovery
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik cache
- Wipe Data/factory reset (optional)
- Install .zip from sd-card
- Choose the rom and Yes
- Navigate into Aroma Installer with VOL + VOL - and HOME

thanks for the rom, running well on locked bootloader!! a warning though, the aroma installer was in french and a few toggles at the top still remain in french (brightness n aeroplane mode). Running a lot smoother than miui 2.8.10

and I got an update from it and updated it to the version 2.1 yet when I connect the phone to computer PCcompanion detects that I have an update for .58!why is that?is it the kernel?

How is the battery life with this Rom?

Ignore that. This is an ROM, not Oficial Sony firmware (but based on it).

How to install XcreaM major update (v1, v2, v3...)
-Reboot into recovery
-Wipe data, cache
-Go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache
-Install zip from SD card
-Choose XcreaM 3.zip
How to install minor update ( v1.1, v1.2, ...)
-Go to Xcream application and look at the top, it will tell you if an update is available.
-Download it (the .zip will be download at the root of SDcard.
-Go into recovery
-Wipe dalvik cache
-Installe update (named Xcream X Update X) (X=the number of xcream version)

Locked bootloader and fonctionality:
tweaks won't work if you haven't custom kernel so if you have a locked bootloader.
why: tweaks are placed in a folder named init.d
when you are using a custom kernel, at the boot of the rom your phone will read file who are inside this folder and change some proprieties of the rom like network speed, cpu governors, ...
Go into xcream / my rom. There are just system clear and root will work.

Of course your android system have all languages.
For the notification bar, we just take image from CM10, and include it in systemui.apk with little modification.

an update will happen tonight or tomorrow during the day

Needs battery % icon. I feel this is a must for all custom ROMS

This rom will work fine with ACRO S because it based on 2.45 FM except SD Card support

If I'm installing it with locked bootloader and want to preserve the root after flashing this ROM, I've to flash CWM.zip afterwards too? By the way, what is the latest version of recovery? Can anyone give a link to that?

you can install it with your bootloader locked, but you will not have all the tweaks.
the latest version is v3. Normally, (the developer of the rom I'm told), it would be updated today

BTW - that's the best kernel for this ROM?

at the beginning I had problems with the kernel SSPEED, but infact I had to do a wipe dalvick. So now I use the kernel and all okay SSPEED

i'm on sspeed at the moment, should be ok then?

yes yes

installation stopped at (c) 2012 by amarullz xda-developers :/

its weird, try with another kernel, then the kernel calls after SSPEED.

Language issue
Using this rom for a day now, it's a great rom, everything works fine.
But it doesn't display arabic or urdu language in webpages, messages etc. Previously i was using joyos rom, it didn't have such issue.
Is there any way to fix it? I wish to keep using this rom. Pls guide me in this regard.

Is it possible to add S6 settings to this ROM? Can you provide a flashable zip for the same.
I like OF3 but I want S6 settings. If I try to flast the secsettings you provided for OD4 base gives fcs when I press and hold wifi option from toggle menu or try to enter wifi details.

I have asked for user feedback not what samsung informed. I mean, people who used both , can tell which base is better in terms of Stability, Performance and Battery.

You have to go to sammobile or any other samsung website to flash the latest firmware of your s4 before you can use this rom

Clock app is on alarm section have a bug.
For add a alarm;
Place a alarm widget on launcher homepage.
Click and add.
For new alarm, place new widget

For now, you could use MoreLocale2 while waiting for all languages to be available.
Bahasa Indonesia translation:

Or for the simple method is to download UBUHPB2 modem and bootloader from Ale95's N5 Port thread and flash it before ROM.
Edit: I forgot to insert it instead to this post lol, so it's merged haha...
