Questions Re: Adding Linux - LG Optimus G Pro

Some information is available regarding this topic. Has anyone attempted this yet? I own a stock LG-E980 w/4.4.2 and I have not rooted it yet.

Unroot to Stock JellyBean Rom

So originally I posted this thread because I was stuck in a recovery limbo. Flashing rom wouldn't work, restoring wouldn't work.
But thanks to the assistance of a few users I found out that the recovery and nightly I was using needed to be updated. Finally flashed CM11 KitKat. Not impressed... Had hoped to be able to print and screen record (features boasted among the official Release feature additons). But right now Im greatly disappointed actually. There seems to be a lot of features (printing, screen recording, and standard Samsung apps/features) either missing, unavailable through CM11 or just not yet available through CM11.
Either way at this point I just need to unroot to OTA, or flash a Jelly Bean stock rom. So thats why I retitled the topic of this thread.
Any searches for original stock roms results in mirrors or links for foreign links, and foreign roms.
Does anyone know of a Jelly Bean stock rom for the Galaxy 8 N5110 for the USA?
I'd prefer to flash using Odin too...
WOuld anyone be able to spare a moment to help me out with this?

[Q] [serranoltexx] PA 4.4 RC1 (Android 4.4.3) - Bootloader and radio?

Hello everyone! This is my first thread, so I hope I didn't pick the wrong section. I was thinking about posting this question in the dedicated thread, but I have less then 10 posts so I can't.
Anyway, I would like to install the above ROM on my serranoltexx. In the changelog, the developers say that in case I'm coming from a 4.4.2 ROM (I actually have PA 4.4-BETA1) I would have to update bootloader and radio too.
I tried to ask on the AOSPA Legacy group on G+, but still got no answer. I wondered if anyone here could tell me whether I really need to update bootloader and radio, and where to find versions compatible with android 4.4.3.
Thank you for your help!
EDIT: I got an answer from the G+ thread, bootloader and radio update are necessary only for nexus devices. Thank you anyway! Should this be deleted or closed? (someone else could have the same doubt)

[Q] Need help finding correct Lean Kernel & download link for Tmobile

Hello, ive been searching for the correct version of Lean Kernel to use with the SlimBean 4.3.1 version I have been running on my Tmobile S3. Ive posted in the Lean Kernel thread but it looks like the link is dead to the 4.3 kernel version. Also tried messaging the developer and no response. Could anyone help find or upload the correct version to work with Slimbeaqn 4.3.1? Thanks.

Do you know where this could be found?
@DocHoliday77, OP has correctly posted on this thread and has been answered there by 2 different users.

Yes, but I need the Tmobile version. I have a Tmobile S3.,...
Kernels of ATT & TMO are interchangable. The ones for ATT S3 can be used on the T-Mo S3 Variant.
Could anyone link to the correct version to use on a 4.3 Rom? Im currently running Slimbean 4.3.1

Need advise on setup

Hi there. Thanks in advance for the replies. Looking forward to reading it. ?
I've a note lte 10.1 2014 (sm-p605) that I would like to use daily. Current setup at 4.3 with stock rom with deknoxed, su, twrm and xposed.
I would like to use it for or with :
Multiple logins for different accounts or users
(I installed switchme but it doesn't work. I think it needs aokp as stock rom, with de-knoxed, doesn't work)
Stock Samsung apps
(if not, any idea where can I get these?
Hopefully an updated and stable kernel to recommend
(is it recommended to get 4.4?)
Recommend an updated rom which is stable too
I hope it's not too much to ask as I'm asking based on recommendation and work around. I do apologize if this topic has been highlighted previously as I'm not aware of any. Thank you again. Cheers ?

T-Mobile SGN III Android 5.0 (latest update) RAM leak: Is it somewhat fixed?

Greetings all!
I have a question... Did Touchwiz/Samsung somewhat fix the memory leak in Android v5.0 before releasing their build?
I've seen mixed opinions when I've been searching around the internet and can't seem to find a definitive answer...
So here's my question... Did Sammy semi-fix the leak in the latest (N900T***FPL1) firmware?

No. But custom roms in the Galaxy note 3 threads have roms that do. Check out the threads.
