What is the name of the app everyone uses to see what is draining there battery? I'm pretty sure it's a paid app. Another app I'm interested in is to see what's all running in my background.

You can use BetterBatteryStats, available in the market, or here on XDA if you wanna search for it. It's free for XDA members, although it's so worthwhile I'd go ahead and pay for it.
Some others have used Badass Battery Monitor.
CPU Spy is helpful as well to see what speeds your CPU has stayed in over a period of time.

I think that for better battery savings more than one app should be installed.
Greenify. Reducing wakelocks and keeping CPU usage as low as possible + longer standby sessions = win.
Greenify n Qualcomm Battery Guru... Greenify made a big difference.. QBG seems like a normal battery saver app..
But, for example : Freezing apps with Titanium is better than hibernating the apps with Greenify ? Does Greenify do the job 100 % ? I mean freezing must have up's and down's ofcourse, but when you want to open an app from a frozen state, it will open normally without any bugs ? I agree that Greenify it's the best out there ,but what I'm trying to say/ask is if it is ok to froze an app.

You would freeze system apps that you don't need. While use greenify to hibernate apps that you do you but don't need running when the screen is off. Such as Facebook or maps.
If greenify doesn't let you hibernate apps cause they are system apps, use titanium backup to convert them to user apps. Or delete the app, eg facebook or maps and then reinstall it from the market

I have this option in Titanium : Integrate updates of system apps into ROM. Is that option the right option to integrate those apps into ROM? Or that option integrates only the apps updates? Well, I just found out, don't do it, don't integrate, it will mess up your phone. Apps will start disappear from where you put them, and so on, it sucks big time.

I am running the paid version of titanium backup not sure if that makes a different. But if you select an app there is an option to "covert to system app" or "concert to user app" but obviously you should only do it for apps that you understand.
Your easiest solution is to reflash or install your rom but without clearing or wiping your user data, so just system files are replaced. Or use a backup of you have one

There is one tiny bit of problem here - where is proof? Screenshot?
It is impossible to experience no battery drain in 12 hours. If phone is turned on, of course.
Yeah. Screenshots.
Here u can find build.prop tweaks for no drain battery.

OK i will upload screenshot, but screenshot is not proof.bcoz screenshot for battery can fake.So u should test yourself.Anyway i will upload when my phone is fully charged.Stay tune.I also use 'my Xperia' for released memory n background processes.N hibernate with Greenify before going to bed.

Had my note 10.1 2014 for about 2 weeks. charged like 4 times so battery cycle is not the issue. im at 19% right now and its indicating that play services used up 48% so that means that 34% (71%*48%) was used up by play services. i have sync turned off and most google services turned off (play music, books, videos etc). i am wondering what this drain in battery may be caused by. betterbatterystats shows no apps or google services taking up battery. anyone else experience this issue?

definitely, across all my android devices (p605 and nexus 5).
the first thing i do after flashing is converting google play services to user app (either using TIB or uninstalling/reinstalling) and then greenify it. i found that using greenify to hibernate google play services as a system app won't go the full way.
im happy with that workaround, although i find google should fix this. its the same on all devices across all android versions for a couple weeks already. some are affected, some aren't.

It will only affect automatic updates. You have to open play store to trigger automatic updates, other than that no side effects.
That's good, I always manually update apps any way, I like to know what's changed, so all that battery is used for nothing? Glad I froze it

you don't freeze it, use greenify to force hibernation. that way it can be put to sleep when you're not using the device.

Sent from my SM-P600 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thanks for the input everyone..and although greenify seems to be a viable option, I'm trying to hold off rooting.. Never know when warranties can come in handy..not trying to pay for replacing parts etc..and battery life seems like the only reason to root so may just have to live with it until a hopeful update rolls out.

The problem lies across all Android devices it's a bug with location services. go to location services and switch it off and your battery life will be restored to normal guaranteed. Google will fix this in their next update

you gotta either use titanium to make it a user app (move from system) or use the donation version of greenify and install xposed framework.

I think it is but I don't know the difference if you install other than #38 for SGW.
To check:
Manage apps> all or downloaded> look and tap Google Play Services 5.0.88 (1297476-038) (38 is the one ur using)

If I not make a mistake, the diffence between #38 and #34 or anyone else is in the density. The number indicates for which DPI density the application was made.
Now I'm using #34 without problems.
EDIT: here You can find a table that can explain better than me this values http://www.xda-developers.com/android/apk-compendium-google-play-services-4-4-52-for-all-densities-and-the-rest-of-this-weeks-updates/

Thanks man. I been on the 1307510-034 version and yesterday play services killed my battery on my m8 in 9 hours lol. Play services "kept the device awake" for more than 5 of those hours. Downloading and installing this now. Hopefully this'll fix my issue.

It is still draining my HTC ONE M8 battery. It is about 30% of consumption when screen is off.
Disabling the GPS it decrease to 17%.
Any suggestions ?
Does anyone else have the same problem as me? Long wake lock time and the sum shown in wakelock detector doesn't tally with the total time.
If so, did you manage to find out the real culprit of these wakelock? Thanks!
This happens on both 10b Sea and 10f Australia. I have locked bootloader, rooted and installed xposed. This happens too with xposed not installed.

Thanks, but what I meant to say was that the total awake time is 16 m and there's no way I can get the number by summing all the individual values (WhatsApp, photos etc)

O so ur looking at the exact time spent for each app/process holding a wakelock...
Tell u the truth I've never added them up to check for exact wakelock time coz as far as I can remember they never were exact amounts of time when u added them up to the total time.
They always were higher than what the total wakelock time is.
Sent from my LG-H818 using XDA Free mobile app
for me it's the other way round, the total wake lock time is more that what I can see, hence 'unexplainable'. I guess I just have to live with it then
I have the EXACT same concern as you.
Even in BBS the numbers don't add up. I never found the reason why, my brother said to just live with it.
Did you try checking with the bbs official thread? Very helpful community over there
