Meizum MX6 is coming with Helio X20 Chipset to compete with Xiaomi MI5

Meizu has released the rumors that Meizu will announce Meizu MX6 or Meizu Pro 5 mini, as you know, Xiaomi Mi5 will come out on Feb on MWC, 2016 soon. Meizu seems to be released after Xiaom MI5 for most users’ thinking.
Sources say that the Meizu MX6 will be a more elegant design than the MX5 with a more rounded metal frame and new curved glass design. The body of the phone will be large enough for a 4000mAh battery.
Meizu MX6 will use curved screen and Flyme6 OS, it's said Samsung will provide its screen and processor, Samsung Exynos 8890 processor, and wireless charging.
About released date, it will be in the second half year. So what do you think of this Meizu MX6, which one will be better between Xiaomi Mi5 and Meizu Mx6?

Meizu MX6 will have 4000mAh battery and Helio X20 processor at 1799RMB.
According to reports this morning, the MX6 will support all current Chinese 3G and 4G LTE networks making it the first Meizu to be offered in one model compatible with all networks. This is good news for Chinese buyers but what about the rest of the hardware?
Apparently the Meizu MX6 will continue with a similar thin bezel design to the MX5, but will see an upgrade to the Mediatek Helio X20, 4GB RAM and a larger 4000mAh battery. The phone is also said to have an 8 mega-pixel front camera and 20.7 mega-pixel rear.
Will it surpass Xiaomi Mi5 or not?

Well... I'm waiting for 2017, for price drop on pro 5. Now I have MX5, before I had m1 note. So MX6... in 2018

Hi, I saw umi iron on coolicool price is $99.99 now, but for limitted pcs. I am amazing at the price for this specs.

I just bought that from geekbuying. I don't know how good it is but is has 3gb of ram it can't be that bad.

my ROME rom is 8th december.
Pre rooted and full working OTG.
Also tested 4G and works correctly Band 20 800Mhz and Band 7 2600Mhz (Italian carrier TIM)
now i'm testing the device..
Only disappointed by 2 points tocuh (so low speed and precision in fast typing) .. and screen quality non perfect..

Right now elephone m3 has golden and gray version. no silver one.

It is said Xiaomi Mi5 will use the Glass material like Xiaomi Note, there is also home button on the body. And it will be built in fingerprint scanner.

According to GeekBench, it’s confirmed to be the Xiaomi Mi5, and it is still powered by Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 processor, RAM 3GB, android6.0 OS.

I'm curious about custom ROMs. The phone is so new, support looks thin now. I'd love to try MIUI or Cyanogenmod or something on it.

i've had mine for a week or so now. i really like it. it's beautiful, it feels great in my hands and it runs really nicely. i have not found a way to root it yet, though. i suspect it's just a matter of time.
