take your phone apart, find the chip and confirm the model. then you can confirm with your own eyes. can't trust an app that might send wrong info. :good:

Interesting answer hehe. Sarcastic but will give answer to my question

So it's single or double stream ?
I'm only able to get 433 mbps connections to my router. The router can give at least 866, I get that with an usb adapter on a pc.

Oh my. Is it just me or did anyone else open this thread thinking something else?
You need to give us some more information to help you. Are you asking how to activate the vibrate feature? Are you trying to tell us that the vibrate doesn't work on your device? Maybe you could tell us which ROM you are using and just give more info than this. We can't help if we don't know what you mean.

Yours has a USB connector? Hmmm... What model is it? I should get one like that for my wife. Maybe with the ability to download new programs and such. What if I could make it do tricks to keep the dog entertained too? Oh the possibilities...
EDIT: We should really close this thread before we get in trouble. lol

Are you referring to the fact that the TP2 has a mini-usb, rather than a usb? I think most people might not understand what you meant...

[Q] Help me unlock this mobile :(

Hello there
i have been on this forum for a while. Owner of Galaxy s1 international...
Since economy isnt good here on Greece i bought a T-Mobile T999 galaxy s3.
I always try to search search search to find what i need and i always have a sucess (thats why i dont have so much posts).
This time ........... i cant do anything. I am trying more than 7h now.....
I have read more than 10-20 different ways...
Root- Flass...bla bla bla etc ... nothing worked until now.
You will say go pay and get a code...
i always want to do everything by myself.
So can someone help me? Can someone give me good details on how to do it or any link that it might help me?
Thank you in advance...
Regards
PS Please dont start search forum... i have done that more than you think.....
BTW i have make a backup of efs but when i am trying to find nv_data.bin .... there is NO such a file...
WTH -.-
There is no way to manually unlock it. Since you're from Greece, you'll have to pay for it

I could be way off here as I have never dealt with the unlock codes. But I was under the impression that the code is different for every phone and is based on the imei. I'm assuming there is some sort of mathmatic formula that's run against the imei to get the code. (That's 100% a guess btw).
I'm also guessing a select few companies/people were given, or figured out on their own, the way to get the code.
If I am wrong or someone knows otherwise, please share. Id actually like to know for sure!
I've heard you can get it for just a few bucks, so it may be worth it to just go that route anyway.

U mention economy in your post. Go get a code on ebay for $8 just like everybody else did and stop moaning since $8 is nothing compared to the hundreds fyou paid for the phone. Also read other threads about unlock code, there are already tons open.

As i said ''what you post didnt sound nice''. As for that ebay guy, i am still waiting an answer from him.... 12h! Of course i wasnt moaning for 8 bucks but i as i mentioned before i am always trying to do it by myself. I cant see whats the problem with you! Since you know about the open posts you should also knew that its kind a mess with none - reliable solution. (i am not sure if i have read everything tho).
I am not going to write about the way you shoud talk or post on a forum. I am pretty sure you wont even understand!

Thats exactly what i think happens as well. However, one can unlock the htc one s for free. The process is like reading a partition on the device thats normally hidden but htc was lazy about how hidden it was.
And i think its the same method for any phone. Its just a matter of how to access said partition. But z3box and like devices have that ability to read the partition. And thats i believe how they generate the code.

Did you read the comments? I'm sure if it worked it would be talked about all the time. Maybe it used to work, but sounds very out dated.
Best to leave it alone I'd say. Its not like rooting the way we do is difficult anyway.

[Q] Signal loss issue according to battery stats

Is anyone else seeing this on their battery stats? So much red spots? I am on 2G/3G auto mode. Check attachment for screenshot.
Does anyone know how to switch basebands? Or even what different kinds of basebands are there?
FYI I have 3 other devices which never experience this issue.
Replying in my own thread: So no one experiences weird signal loss?

Try to set only 2g.
Mine suggestion, use 2g when you don't use internet too much, and switch to 3g when you really need it.
Also 2g/3g switching drains battery, bacause when there is bad 3g signal, device disable it, then switch to 2g and then device need to find network again.. Too much battery drain.

My dear friend, this is a common issue in all Zenfone 2. Even I had raised the same Question here in XDA once, but nobody else agreed with me.
See this,

Oh wow this is horrible! ASUS has zero respect for customer requests I guess. I will change my sim and check but after reading the thread, not much hope. Thank you very much for showing this to me. Do you still face the issue?

Yes I have got this problem still..
We have tried everything already. Like, swapping SIM1 and SIM2, trying different carrier SIM cards, taking new genuine micro sim cards...etc.. but no help. But some say that if you make it, 2G only then it works fine. But I did not try and not bothered to try such a stupid solution. Hope Asus will fix it in a future FW release..

Yeah true. Why restrict to 2G on a 4G device? Okay lets hope for a fix. Or at least a response from the Asus rep on XDA. @Asus_USA

I have to say.. After the last update, the signal is much better. I still do notice some signal loss. But overall much better than before. My "Time without a signal" has dropped from 35% to 8% now.

But I did not get a SINGLE network drop after the last update
I'm soo happy that Asus finally figured it out.. But the battery backup is still not upto the mark.. Expected more from this 3000MAH Battery..

Yeah the battery definitely is a bummer. But lets wait for a fix... As for the signal..Hmm... maybe I lose signal during commute. But regardless, it has greatly improved. Good job Asus.

Hey,
I'm not sure if you or anybody else does still care, but try setting your preferred network type to 2G/3G or only one of those.
I missed several calls on my ZE551ML due to signal loss and doing this solved the problem.
I'm not sure if it was ASUS's or my operators fault, but this helped me a lot.
Resolved
If your Zenfone lost signal sim card sometime and drain down battery.
Here is my solution, just ROOT your Zenphone and install that app for keep your battery alive: "Zenphone fix" app on google play
Share that app if you fixed this problem.
