Does anyone know of a good case for jogging? - LG Optimus G Pro

I want to be able to take my phone with me jogging or running, and so I'm looking for one of those cases u can strap to your shoulder or something and run with them. I have the LG E980 model (not that there is any size difference between it and the variants, in fact I'm sure there isn't), but does anyone know of a good case I could strap to my shoulder for running and such?

There isn't one specific for this phone. You may have to forge a makeshift one, but then again you chance your phone while running. The phone is too big to place on your shoulder anyhow lol.

Try Armpocket. Those are made based on phone sizes and they have ones that will fit your g pro. Check their website. They cost about US$ 45, but they are worth it.

Stylus fell out. Twice.

I have now lost both of the stylus(es) that came with the phone. I suppose they come out when I pull the phone out of my case. Anyone else have this problem? I got a universal pouch and the phone was in there pretty snug. Enough so that it would not come out easily.
Now I have no stylus and am afraid to replace it for fear of it happening again. Is this common or am I doing something wrong??
What version of TP2 do you have?
I heard something similar regarding the american versions, as they do not have the magnetic stuff as the original Europe version.

It's looking to be quite the pain tracking down any quality T-Mobile TP2 accessories and OEM stuff since our version is unique compared to all the others. Things like the stylus, screen protectors, cradles, cases, etc. all need to be designed slightly differently for us and it seems like manufacturers are not very eager to do so at the moment. Hopefully the launching of Sprint and ATT TP2s will spur them on.
Sorry this doesn't answer your question, but know that I share your frustration!
I have no idea why they got rid of the magnetic stylus, which I thought was a fantastic feature. But I do have a trick for keeping them in, I used it on my mogul. Just bend the stylus a bit, it still feels straight in the hand, but it will say in much much better.

Thanks. I got my screen protector (best I have seen yet, guaranteed for life) from "www.clearprotector.com" and its not a regular plastic one. They have to be soaked in water & soap b4 they get put on if this helps at all and the cover I got from here> "http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150365816665&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT" its a little pricey but IMHO its worth it...Tj
My stylus (neither one) was magnetic. One poster says to bend it??? Does it still go in?? I dont quite follow.
Does anyone else have the smae problem I do ? Losing the stylus when pulling out from the case? Any other ideas to keep it in better? Thanks.

If you bend it just a very slight amount, it still goes in fine and even looks straight, it just fits tighter in its cavity. Just put the stylus between your thumbs and push a very slight amount. Then put it back in the phone and see if its more difficult to pull out. If not, pull it back out and push a little harder with your thumbs. Lather, rinse, repeat until satisfied with the fit.

Unless it pulls itself into place when you're close to inserting it, it's not magnetic.. Just friction.

[Q] does this device have a hole for a wrist strap

hi, im due an upgrade, have had a tytn11 for 3 years now and would like to try something new before my phone dies and im thinking about the milestone 2 among others (pro7, desire z, n900). its silly i know, but i really need/want a wrist strap to aid me in my fight against dropping/ losing such an expensive bit of kit.
thanks.
I see a place inside the battery cover that MAY work, but I'm not sure. That's a big may, so...don't hold me to it. Honestly I don't know how well the battery door would close with something there...but I've never had a wrist strap and don't know how the lanyards are shaped.

ok thanks.
apparently my message is too Short
It could be done if you drilled a hole through your battery cover. Other than that, the only option is a case.

is there a way to put a cell phone strap on the Galaxy Nexus?

is there a way to put a cell phone strap on the Galaxy Nexus?
(anything short of drilling an actual hole on the Galaxy Nexus, of course! )
For me, i attached a charm around my phone's case between the camera and secondary microphone holes. Its nice since it doesn't force you to undo the charm whenever you are pulling out the battery door out =] all you do is remove the case and presto!

If you have one of the many Androidified Cruzer Lite case (with embossed Andy on the back) there's provision for a cell phone strap on one of the top corner.
There's no loop for a strap because it's not a clam shell phone, and nothing could be worse for the screen than precariously dangling it from your wrist/hip/purse to get banged around by whatever your body comes into contact with when you're walking around.
That's a $500 phone that you're considering hanging off of your body for the world to see, held on by a single strap. It's smaller than a purse, making it easier to steal, and worth more than most people make in a week. Think about that for a moment.
But if you're really that interested, case manufacturers often sell cases that come with a loop for attaching a strap. Google it.

But all other Samsung smartphones have strap holes..... The Galaxy Nexus seems to be the only exception.
I would just duct tape it to my hand.

I assume you simply drilled a hole in the case, right? Looks good... I'll get a hard case for my Galaxy Nexus and do the same.

If you get one of the cruzer lite cases as stated above, you dont have to drill or use a hole that it wasnt meant for. It has it on the upper right (if your phone's screen is facing you) corner.
As I am new here, I am not allowed to post links... Anyway, I saw a nice post by a guy in Japan with his brand new Docomo Galaxy Nexus. And in one of the pictures, you can see where he attached a strap to the small screw in the upper right hand corner above the SIM card.
If you search for "GALAXY NEXUS SC-04D で今日やった作業" you might be able to find it....
Hope this helps.

I think the fact of it being a $500.00 phone is why the OP wants a strap. I have never thought that they were solely for carrying the phone around, but to keep it from hitting the deck if it slips out of your hand while in use. Kind of the same way wii controllers have a strap to prevent you from impaling your TV.

[Q] Band/Strap Size?

Slightly random question, but can anybody with the Zenwatch advise on how large the strap is? As in, what size wrist it'll accommodate?
My wrists are stupidly large (don't ask, I have no idea), so I'm wondering whether I'll need to swap the band out. They''re about 220mm (about 8.6 in). That's assuming it ever gets to my country.
The included strap will not fit anything above roughly 7.5 inches. However, the strap is extremely easy to change out, and there should be plenty of 3rd party straps that will fit your needs.
As a note, the watch is pretty long so after market straps will have an exaggerated length. I'd say I have a medium wrist but I'm using the shortest setting on the aftermarket strap I bought.
Thanks for that guys - looks like an after-market strap. I don't suppose the Asus clasp can be redeployed onto a different strap, do you think? I've seen similar accessories out there, but I don't know much about that sort of thing.
I highly doubt it. The bottom part could probably work if you found just the right band but the top part (the clasp past that says "asus") is pinned and I can't imagine it would be very easily modified. Not even sure the pin can be removed. The way Asus made the band removable from the watch is pretty slick though and makes me think they plan on coming out with different interchangeable bands. Who knows when though....
Thank you. After having a look, a lot of the places that sell straps also sell "deployment clasps" (a new term for me). An after-market option that replaces the buckle of a strap with a unit that then slots into one of the holes. They seem to be fairly universal and, whilst possibly not being as slick as the supplied clasp they perform the same task. It would seem that you could replicate the advantages of the stock strap.
Something like these (I think) http://www.watchworx.co.uk/pages/access/deploy.html (random Google result - I have no affiliation)
Yes, you CAN reuse the ASUS deployment clasp.

Thank you - yes - I'd seen that. Would appear you need a band that tapers from 22mm to 18mm (or can do some modifications.

Trying to find a specific case...

over the last 5 years or so using note's i have always used the same model case. I just got a oneplus 2 from a friend (i don't think i will ever own anything else again, even for an older phone it's amazing) anyway.. i am trying to find a thin case, with a kickstand that works vertically (for reading)
This is the case i usually is this one.
https://www.amazon.com/Galaxy-Aduro-Holster-Kickstand-Samsung/dp/B00W847AA4/ref=pd_cp_107_4?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=5682957075090298297&pf_rd_r=0YZREYR090JVNXMJ40S1&pd_rd_wg=csvac&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=0Vbt5&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=f6fda398-996e-11e8-a002-1d9868e07dca&pd_rd_i=B00W847AA4&psc=1&refRID=0YZREYR090JVNXMJ40S1
Which i totally love, but i haven't been able to find anything like it.. Does anyone have a recommendation?
P.S. just ended up ordering a cheap junk case off amazon.. ah well
