LG Optimus G E971/3/5/6/7
Optimus g unlocked for tmobile hot spot isnt working... I keep getting error network message? I have a unlimited data plan...
I have the same issue. My phone is about 1 month old, previously I had a Blackberry Z30 Unlocked and connection was way better, even with 2 bars I could use Pandora all day at work and could connect to apps, and websites. Now on LG G3 even Google Play won't connect many times as it times out because connection is too slow. I think there is an issue with the way LG G3 connects to AT&T, I mean how can an unsupported device like Blackberry Z30 (bought it on Blackberry site as AT&T doesn't sell it) work very well and yet LG G3, sold by AT&T doesn't work well.
PS : I get 4G and some occasional LTE, but still speed is pretty slow and device consumes the battery pretty quickly.
Hello, all. I recently broke my Samsung S3. It died an honorable death, and now it's time to replace the fallen warrior.
I am currently on a Verizon unlimited data plan, and I need to buy my device outright. I am not opposed to getting a used device, but I plan to watch a LOT of Netflix, so the display must be [mostly] scratch-free. Beyond that, I require XLTE/LTE-A as an upgrade from my previous 4G device. Full HD display is nice, community ROM support is good, and I am on a shoestring budget, so I have been leaning toward the G Pad 8.3 LTE.
My only concerns with this device are regarding these questions:
Does the LTE version support cellular calls and SMS texts? (If not, I could shuffle around my phone number to a VoIP line and use only the data connection.)
Can I simply plug in my existing Verizon SIM card and go? (If not, what is required to use this device? Will Verizon allow this device on their grandfathered unlimited plans?)
Can I unlock tethering? How is the signal quality? Latency?
Thanks, everyone.
Does anybody know a way to improve the signal received from the phone?
The WIFI router it's in the living room, but from my room my LG G Pro only receive 1 bar. I know it's not a problem of the router because I have a Lenovo which gets full bars, and other LG phone who also get full
so must be a problem of my LG G Pro (which is kind of new just 1 year of use)

Which WiFi channel are you using? I had that issue with mine while I was on quite busy channels (basically everything from ch10 to ch13 here) and they stopped when I changed my routers to something lower, ch8 I think.
Also, this phone's antennas tend to be crappy - mine liked dropping LTE in 100% LTE areas and dropping GPS connections where other devices had 10+ satellites locked. WiFi was crappy either way because I'm in area swapped with routers and APs so finding a good channel was a must.
