I has been up to cm12 but my kindle charge so slowly. I charged it all the day but it only up to 60%. Please help me.
I have the same problem from the last couple of days but in Candy5 rom. Tried different chargers and cables but it goes up only to 60%. I've been Candy5 for months without problems until now.

Now that I'm thinking...do you use xposed in your kindle and which mods? Maybe its an updated module that causes this problem?

Simple enough, mines finally going haywire without use. Is there a way to disable it without taking my phone apart to disable it.
(Trackpad, OJ) just wondering, its causing me to lose alot of battery with Roms including the OJ wake.
Is there a way or am I doomed? Its a pretty useless feature on this phone.
Sent from my HTC Droid Incredible using Tapatalk
Pretty sure there is an edit that'll disable it, but I got to dig around for it.
Side note, have you tried cleaning it? A haywire OJ is usually a dirty one.

Surprising out of the almost 2 years I've had this thing its been pretty clean. I used a q-tip and rubbed around it, used some water on the q-tip and then clean it.
Not sure why its happening.. but I'm just guessing its/its time.
It works but I feel its the reason my phone turns in to.the lockscreen and pauses my videos and switches screens on me at times.
Sent from my HTC Droid Incredible using Tapatalk
Since you've already voided the warranty, just pop the back off (ie. remove the screws) and unplug the OJ connector..
It possibly can be disabled in the kernel.

Any guide on how to disable it would be appreciated.

Don't expect a miracle. I found 4 other threads requesting the same thing and none were resolved. I tried disabling the kernel driver for it but it would not build when I did that.

This won't disable in recovery but I'm sure you're ok with that. Please let me know if there's any ill effects from this like battery drain and this is definitely a hack. GB sense only for now. I couldn't find out anything online too easily and ideas I tried on the ROM side didn't work.

Alright, will flash it soon. Thanks for the help.
Edit: not 100% sure this will work on pures beta for 3.5, I tried to flash 2-25 and 3-11 before and it Broke the Rom.

Doubt it. If indeed the kernel does break the ROM. Doesn't make sense. Does that ROM have ext4 built in? If it does sometimes you need to flash the ext4 mod again before flashing a kernel.
Also, I've heard nothing about this 3.5 beta.

Pm pure.
It's very nice
Edit: I'm glad you tried but its a no go. The oj is still running
If my option is to disable it via phone hardware, is there a touch screen recovery available?

Well since we have a thread about the nightly I wanted to created a thread on the M series that is released every month that is suppose to be a daily driver.
I installed M2 yesterday and its very stable but am starting to notice a few bugs which i will list below.
1.) Alarm app works but did not ring until i pressed the volume up button and changed the alarm volume and then it started to work.
2.) Proximity sensor did not work with the first call but worked the second time.
3.) Home button does not always work and sometimes needs a double tap.

Mx = Milestone build. More stable than a nightly, I think they are done monthly. They get more testing.

The alarm but was still on the latest nightly so it hasn't been resolved yet. I switched back to rooted stock firmware and have found my phone to be much more functional and have better battery life.

I was using Corn and thought the same thing. I wish I could incorporate Corn kernel into CM10 but it doesn't seem likely. So many options yet a smooth running stock rom. Been debating going back for days.

I have been running M2 for 2 weeks and love it, except for battery life which is about 75% as good as stock was. I might try a nightly, as I am only getting 10-16 hrs right now. Anybody else having battery life similar to this?

When you wipe dalvik cache this is usually taken care of. Maybe you need a new battery.
Logically it doesn't make sense for a battery to instantly lose that much charge, and a bad connection wouldn't explain why it would continue to charge from zero. I think what most likely happened is the OS wasn't reporting the battery level correctly, and as a result, died with no warning.
You're running a mod on twa_priv's ROM which may make report inaccurate or cause something to go rogue such as battery stats. Test a clean flash without the mod to see if there is any effect.

Time for a new battery?
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using xda premium
Could be it does seem very strange. I take it that you have not rebooted during this time period? I have noticed small drops after a reboot but not an utter dive to 0 that you are getting.

No reboots, just left on all the time. Only thing I'll say is that this problem seemed to coincide with me using an Amazon 9w charger (made for the KF however).
Perhaps I'll go back to the stock charger and monitor again.
Here is the charger I am using;
Amazon Kindle PowerFast for Accelerated Charging (not included with device, for use with the Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD models) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006GWO5WK/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8

Not intended for the 1st gen kindle. Fast charge, fast drop, wrong charger, wrong charge. Makes sense and could equal damage to the battery itself.
Im not new to the rom game but have a simple question. Less of a question and more a request for some tips
Is there any lists or apps (like Goomanger) where I can find roms that work 100% on my G2?
I hate installing a rom then setting up all my accounts and a week later realize that the gps or wifi isnt working right because of the rom.
I know I can read through the forum but countless times I download a rom thats suppose to work 100% and a week later I find a problem.
I did notice some of the roms on like Goo manger work better than just downloading one off the forum but it limited options. Any tips or is this just the nature of the game? Granted I have resorted to just rooting and modding my stock rom but its not the same.
Kinda what i have been wondering myself, i haven't found a custom rom yet that works 100%. If anybody knows of one, please let me know.
Super g2 is awesome and I hear a zvd based Rom is on its way other then the artifesto 2faced Rom.

To be honest, I have been on at least 1/2 a dozen custom ROMs and and feel the best option is stock rooted for me. I use xposed and the split window mod and that's all the customizing I need.
As supasanch24, said. Stock is not to bad. A little clean up though, and it runs fine.

My tab has started to suffer from boot loops, first I tried wiping cache in recovery but that didn't work . I then factory reset the tab in recovery. This stopped the boot loops for a few hours but they returned, I have now flashed a full stock firmware via odin and all seems well though only been half a day.
I was curious to know if any other members had suffered this issue and if so how they fixed it, I have no sd card in.
Thanks in advance.

Could it be a faulty battery? I don't really know tbh
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
Thanks for your reply, I'm sure it's not a faulty battery as I had it in download mode (only way to stop it looping) for 2 hours while I waited for firmware download from sammobile . Tbh honest I'm thinking of getting a tab s2 and selling this on ebay, but I don't want to sell an item unless I'm sure I've fixed the issue.
P.s I have no idea why I want a new tab as this one is great but ya gotta spend ya cash somehow.
Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
Even my tab does that and I flashed stock firmware from sammobile but it did not fix my problem. Can anyone help me please?
Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
Okay update time. No boot loops so that's a positive. This tab is running very hot though and when I think about it, it was hot just before the boot loops 1st started. I downloaded cpu-z and with only the cpu app open the cpu load is over 50% and all four cores are bouncing between 1500 and 2 . something ghz.
Any ideas of what could be causing this, it's a fresh firmware flash with about 5 apps installed from the playstore.
