Okay, I'm a bit new to this forum and I needed a little help... I wish to set up a navigation bar like the lollipop on my G Pro (E988) and even tried editing the build.prop, but it only showed System force close.. does anyone know any other way to do this? Please?

Does anybody know a trick to disable the battery status? I want neither the clock nor the Battery symbol.

settings->today->items-> un check them!
No no no, I know what he means, I want to get rid off them too. The top bar, I would like to only see a clock instead of those symbols!!!
Requires a registry tweak but an easy way to do it is via this app - advance config.
If you've got a home cooked ROM it might already be installed otherwise grab it from this thread
Page 2 has settings for the top/start bar.

that´s what i am searching for, but the tweak doesn´t work correct. it disturbs the antenna symbol, it cuts one half.
I got the same issue? Any solutions?
I have a very small, very limited netbook right now. I was wondering if it'd be at all possible to change the bottom navbar to this, or at least something similar:
http://www.completeguides.net/@api/deki/files/302/=htc_swipe_bottom.png
Again, I'm stuck with a crap computer, otherwise I'd be trying to change around pngs, coding, and yada yada, but this stupid thing freezes up while trying to run odin with my sgs2...
Any help at all with my curiousity would be greatly appreciated. I've been looking around, but all I've seen so far around the forums is how to add transparency, menu buttons, and scrollable nav bars
Thanks again!

It's possible and easy, just theme the nav bar background and personalize those softkeys
Is there any app I can use from my phone, or would I have to do it through computer?
NinjaMorph in the Play Store will do it.
Where is the navbar at? I checked in the systemui.apk but couldn't find it in there. I checked framework-res.apk and I thought I found it, but when I switched it out, nothing happened when I rebooted my phone. Any more help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on foxhound 0.6 if that helps any. I can also post up the systemui and framework apps if need be.

How to hide status bar
Great thanks it worked but this leads me to another question. Is there a way to temporarly hide or make transparent ISC status bar. This would come in handy while playing games but most importantly while wtching movies. Most of them do not need that because they thiner than 720 pixels but mowies with exact 1280X720p a cropped on the bottom.
Plese let me know if there is a way.
Ps. I would be nice to set button maybe longpress recent apps (the one on the right) to show and hide status bar.
Sorry for double post but i have noticed a new problem. I dont have a YouTube aplication and i cant download it from adroid market. Can someone share a newest apk file with tablet support. I wuld be greatfull.
So i am making my first widget and i am trying to get a progress bar on both side and i did't find a flip module in the settings so i was wondering if there is a way to make the progress bar go in "reverse" if you will. I have looked for how to do this both on google and here and nothing. Hoping someone here can help me or i might have to submit a feature request (filp module) if nothing is currently available to do it.
Never mind if i would of taken an extra second i would of got it....MODS you can delete this so it doesn't waste anyones time...sorry guys...
So I really want to mod the Nav Bar (forcing menu button to show, changing size, etc) but I only found a way only by enabling nav bar mods in GravityBox or Xblast tools. But when I do that, the back button on the Nav Bar becomes unusually large compared to other buttons. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? If you need a screenshot I'll upload one.
Thanks in advance.
Apparently I'm not alone on that - I'm running ViperOne and the same thing happened when i wanted to do some color-modding. I gave up on it and shrank it and it evened out - I went to 65% originally, but now am at 55%. Not sure where the line is, but if you shrink it, it will even up with the other two eventually.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I have even tried using SoftkeyZ but when I do that it does the opposite and shrinks the back button to the point it looks ridiculous.

I would love to find a solution to this as well. Don't like having to downsize the nav bar to make them even.

Have you tried [APP][4.0+]Ultimate Dynamic Navbar ?

Thanks for the tip! I use GravityBox for its handy Navigation Ring mods. Can Dynamic Navbar modify the Nav Ring and/or work with GravityBox when it is modifying the Nav Ring? Also, is this safe allowing blanket permissions without seeing the source code? Sorry, I'm not a dev, curious what more informed people know about this…

I just went ahead and tried this. Didn't work for me. When I opened Ultimate Dynamic Navbar, most of the options were unreadable—they just had an ellipsis, the last one or two words of the option description, and then perhaps a checkbox. You couldn't read it. I tried it in both portrait and landscape, always with GravityBox disabled and after a full reboot. Doesn't seem to work correctly on m8 for whatever reason.

Again I'm not a dev, but I wonder if this—implemented in the mod—would fix it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2452822. I'll post this in the GravityBox thread I guess…
Have you tried seeing how you can customize it with [MOD][Xposed] Xtended NavBar ?
It fairly new though, status still shows as testing...Looks interesting nontheless.
