I don't manage to find any. Thanks
How about you build your own ?
Sony have step-by-step instruction on their developer website. Just search "sony aosp" and there you go.
Check this http://fxpblog.co/aosp/aosp-6-0/
There is not one for "tianchi" yet man.
Sorry
You can build it yourself using this guide
http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/open-source/open-devices/aosp-build-instructions/
Ok, I'll give it a try. Thanks everybody!!!

Hiya folks!
The title kinda says it all, I'm a new to the android-world.
There would be awesome if there was kind of a "extra-noob-guide" out there
I hate to be a bother with stupid questions, sorry for that!
P.S. I had a Xperia x10 b4 the Arc.

A guide for installing CM 7.10 on Arc!
Hey..
You mean to install it?
CM is being ported to Arc as yet .. Check the Development forum .. Its known as FreeXperia.. It has a few bugs which are still being fixed..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102523
NOTE: The link to 024 download is a bit broken.. COPY PASTE the hotfile link don't click on it.. The embedded URL seems to be for 023 release still..
That post has all the details on how to install it..

Thanx m8!
But, is it easier to root it? I don't like the SE look, and the homescreen software sucks.
I'd like to have a styleish and rooted phone
Yes.. It is pretty easy to root.. WIth and without unlocking bootloader..
Check the Namaste Guide for more details [ I seriously suggest that you should read the Namaste guide well before going ahead with anything to know what method does what etc..]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133650
As for the Launcher + Homescreen you don't require root for it anyway..
There are quite a few launcher replacements out there .. Check the android market..
CyanogenMod uses ADW.Launcher if i'm not wrong.. Which is free and also is in the Market..

SuperoneClick is compatible with wildfire S? I think that this is wrong...
As much as I know it's mostly os depending and not hardware, but could be wrong, can someone confirm that it's not working anyways which process you tried, then I will delete it!
Sry, for the fault if it's one

Phew, sry I just compiled this together, unfortunately I have no such link^^ But there is already a ruu collection, within the stock ROM section -> shipped roms, ask there, they sure can give you a hint or maybe a link where you can get the ruu.
Swyped from my Desire S
hmmm
nice index.
Would you consider adding the rom I put up to the Stock Rom section?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Rob

Consider changing "falshable" to flashable. Otherwise, all's great!
Added the the rom of insink71, some other links and corrected the typo.
Thx for the hints
If something else is missing pls tell
Link to my thread is broken

EDIT : all the links are broken (wtf!??) They all go to 'http:\' when on the xda premium app. Is it just me?
new stock rom and updated desciptions
Love love love this index; such a timesaver. Added another stock rom for US Cellular and updated descriptions to reflect this and VM USA [marvelc roms] are cross-flashable. Even verified to be safe [even got my bud on US Cellular to flash VM rom and test as well]. That's it for stock roms. Both are vanilla with only Darktremor's Apps2sd added [to make memory issues bearable]... Could add stuff to VM one, but then again stock is stock ... Now on to custom rom for marvelc

Hey guys!
I created this thread since I have few questions. I am a newbie, and I want to start porting apps (like the latest apps found in 2012 - 2013 Xperia models) to older 2011 Xperia's, like the LT18i. I have 0 to less knowledge about android developing so I would like to ask whether there are any good guides over the internet? I tried Googling but they all look messed up for me. Would like if someone could link me to some guides perhaps?
Another thing, I downloaded the LT22i (Xperia P) firmware and extracted the system files. I was wondering whether I could flash that whole part of the folder via CWM Recovery and then would everything work on my arc S? (Dumb question, I know - was just curious).
Go to xda university (webpage)
Sent from my Xperia Arc S using xda premium
The guides look messed up but they aren't. You just have to look closely.
Of coursw not, xperia p has different hardware specs software so different drivers etc, its like asking why a windows-only program doesn't work on a mac.

i had the same problem, but then i search a litle and i found all the information i need.
did you already have the bootloader unlocked?
after that you just need to search some kernel and rom a flash it :good:

Hi there...
I am having a Blackview BV5800 Pro and i want to try make it faster and better... so a custom firmware will be better (because of no more supporting from the manufacter)... i think...
but before buying a new device - i want to try it...
So i ve check Treble (treble check and treble info) ... is supported...
having ARM 64, says only A is compatible... but need root...
1) already download: lineage-18.1-20210111-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_avS.img from AndyYan sourceforge site hope that will work with my device...
2) next step before trying anything is to find right TWRP for my device... but where ? any help...
3) then i ll try to unlock my device bootloader... seems that this will work ? https://www.getdroidtips.com/unlock-bootloader-mediatek-device/
So actually need the 2,3 steps... and then how i will install firmware already download (with sptool ?)... ?
The other steps...
Thanks in advance...
I doubt a gsi will be faster or better. Do a factory reset and disable all bloatware. You will be surprised, how fast your old phone can get.
...GSI... hmm...
where i can find a GSI firmware/ROM for my phone... ?
and the way (guide) to install it ...
Thanks in advance...

Thanks...but
1) sorry but very generic... get 21 pages ... may be more specific (i think is a user... phhusson) - will help if giving me a direct link to read specific guide for GSI that will be at least compatible with my model...
2) GSI... again i need TWRP for my phone... where i can find one ?
Thanks AGAIN - i hope not being mean...

Sorry. Didn't read the whole thread. You started with a question about Andy yan IMG file. That is a gsi file. I recommended not to use it and stay on stock ROM instead. End of discussion where it started.
ok.. your opinion is respected
...but if i want to try it... is there any TWRP compatible with my model (question to everyone reading this thread)... that will work for me...
