So if the capacity is 2500mAh compared to 1650mAh for the stock battery, why are the standby and talk times comparable, instead of vastly superior.
it seems the battery doesn't fit inside s2 !see the comments in feedback section of the seller
So the conclusion is: don't buy this battery!
this is because some people having t'mobile version gs2 bought this battery that is for international gs2 only.
Ok guys here's the real manufacturer page of the Momax X-level battery. Same specs as stock. Not better
Link http://www.momax.net/en/Product_Show.aspx?ID=1519&T=2
yes, i couldn't find the 2500 version on their website
don't buy!

Any Li-ion battery the same size as the original is going to be more or less the same capacity, however there are many sellers who simply upgrade the label and charge more. This has turned into a bit of an arms-race where every seller feels he has to try and out-do the competition's outrageous claims. I've seen the same batteries advertised as 1650mA, 1850mA, 2000mA, 2200mA and now this guy's just trumped that.
When you complain that it doesn't last any longer than the standard battery you'll no doubt be told you have to go through umpteen discharge/charge cycles before it is at full capacity. This is also BS of course.
These are probably perfectly good 1650mA batteries, just don't get conned into paying more for a bigger number on the label.
This batt is fake, I had to buy one to believe it. I used battery monitor app to get the infor about its capacity and it says its 1650!!! Not 2500
don't buy!
I bought two pieces but same the original battery
not need for me...
One good solution for people looking for a greater capacity battery for the SG2 is the Anker at 1900mAh. I have it one year so far, and after hundreds of charging cycles it is still as good as it was the first time. Sorry for the off-topic, however not very often I have bought such a reliable non-brand product. Between 1650 and 1900 the small difference is, that the phone will make it through the day with a moderate use, because for heavy use not even the 2500 is enough....:good:
Hi, I was wondering what the highest capacity battery was without having to replace the back cover?
I know of the anker 1900mah, what about the Samsung 2000mah? Also, what do you guys think of buying no name batteries that are advertised as 1900mah?
I've bought no name batteries for my HTC incredible s before, I bought an 1800mah battery which gave me the exact same battery life as a 6 month old stock 1450mah battery, so thoughts?
EDIT: I'm a stickler for thinness so even if a back plate adds 1mm to it, i don't want it, I've had enough of my thick as stars HTC incredible s
the samsung 2000mah battery gives you a new back cover and makes your phone a little bid thicker, but not much. Most hard cases will still tightly fit
This would be your best option, as you are sure it will be 2000mah.
I myself got the 1900mah anker battery and dont really see any difference with it... It is about the same as stock. My 2000mah battery is arriving soon ^^
There are enouf pictures/movies of the 2000mah batter, there you can see how big it is I myself think it will make the phone easyer in the hand
Do instead of it having a bulge at the bottom, now everywhere is as thick as the bulge?

yes!
I only get 2.5 hours screen on time with data most of the time off with my 1900 anker battery, which is same/worse than default battery.
I think your safest/best choice is the samsung's official 2000mah battery. Do know that many slim cases wont fit anymore.
You can clearly see the size here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tHvfEtsvUg&feature=player_detailpage#t=327s
Oh yes, since I'm getting a slightly bigger case along with the 2000mah battery, why not get something with even more capacity? What's the largest capacity that will fit in the back plate that comes with the 2000mah extended battery?

2000 mah
You can buy even bigger ones, but they will be 2-3x bigger in size.
And if 3rd party batterymakers say it holds 3500 mah, it actually is only 2500.
Size-quality wise, the official is the best by far!
And if you are really scared of running out of batteries when you are on vacation or something, just get a 2nd battery? This way you can switch battery whenever you want. And you will always have a spare fully charged battery with you

alright cool, thanks lots for your help, been mostly an androidforums Guy, don't come here often
I have quite contrast opinion and experience on Anker battery on my SGS2. It mathematically holds some 16% more juice, but actually performs with 20-25% improvement. My friend who bought one for his Note (both orig and Anker are 2500mAh) says Anker holds up 15% longer (orig would drain every day between 7 and 8 pm, and Anker holds for another hour and a half, approx). It fits your original back cover, and I think it is worth trying.

Oh that sounds good, but don't companies like Anker, Chichitec and mugen "overadvertise" their battery capacities? A 1900mAh would be maybe a 1500mAh and a 1800mAh would be a 1400mAh?
Oh and did you compare your Anker 1900mAh to a new stock battery or one that's maybe 6 months old?
get the 2000 mah battery from samsung, its great, doesnt make the phone any thicker but it makes enough of a difference mate!

Anker is not overadvertisig its batteries like some Chinese factories. When I first tested Anker, my stock battery was some 3 months old. You should know that Anker batteries (as well as stock ones) need some 5 complete charges to start to act fully with their capacity, so do the test not the same moment when you buy the battery, but after 5-6 charges. I am using Anker battery now 99% of the time, and keep my stock one at home, full, just in case I need the phone full urgently. Every time I keep stock battery in phone I can see how it's depleated faster, so Anker is still better than stock one, some 8 months after using it heavily.
My stock battery is always on 15-20% at the end of the working day (from 8am to 22h-midnight), empty by midnight on weekends. Anker can withstand one day + night + morning shift on working days, and full day on the weekend, with some juice left.
Oh, and I use battery circle with % on it, so I can pretty accurately monitor
how fast is my battery draining while on internet, watching video, playing games (you don't see the % during the game, but you see it before and after), calling etc.

Se vede ca-i chinezarie cea din link. Daca nu ma insel, pe cea mai ieftina baterie OEM de 2000 mAh am vazut-o la Orange Shop, 17 euro costa.
Cheers.
I last saw one that made the s2 just 1mm thicker I will post it when I find it again
i think the best extended battery you could get without any noticeable/annoying bulges, is the legit 2000mAh from Samsung.. it does not cost that much considering that it is not some hoax and it also comes with their custom back cover for the extended batter.. I don't trust Chinese products entirely
I was thinking about buying the Nexus 5 but I don't think I will be able to live with the battery life as it is. I saw the mod on reddit which allows you to replace the OEM N5 battery with the 3000 mAh battery from the G2 by use of a dremmel and some circuit board swapping (without losing wireless charging capabilities). I would obviously prefer to not risk this type of phone surgery.
I saw online a Chinese battery that is the same size as the original OEM battery, but listed as 3830 mAh. I was wondering if anyone had tried this battery in the N5? It can be found here:
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...D821-D820-battery-BLT9/339866_1760720916.html
Everyone has been saying not to use a battery that was not created by the original manufacturer because "they would have put in the best battery the phone could handle" but my argument is that 2 and a half years ago the technology may just not have been there. The N5 was a budget phone and they had to cut costs somehow. Has anyone done the 3000 battery mod or tried this battery out?
If so, what were your results? I NEED this phone to last me a day with moderate to heavy usage. (I generally do not go over 4 hours of SOT)
Thank you!
Read the review....
I saw a guy who complain about that it actually a 2400 mah battery
I think they just put the cover to it
Fake
Seller lied, battery is a sham, has fraudulent "3830mAh" label on top of the 2300mAh label
This is a review of the so-called 3830mAh battery:
"01 Feb 2015 03:52
DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY. THIS IS A FRAUD. SELLER MADE ME WAIT MORE THAN 1,5 MONTHS AND AFTER I RECEIVED, I HAVE PEELED OFF THE OUTER COVER AND THE BATTERY IS 2400MAH INSTEAD OF 3830 AS PROMISED. OPENED A DISPUTE AND HAD FULL REFUND. SELLER CALLED ME A LIAR INSTEAD OF MAKING THINGS EASIER. CHECK PICTURES FOR PROOF"

So you expect some chinese company no one ever heard of to almost double the capacity of the oem battery?
The lg g2's battery is the only mod you can do, and even then you have to find the original battery and not another fake one.

I don't necessarily expect it to be 3830 mAh of battery the same way I don't expect a 5000 mAh external battery pack to fully charge the phone twice. However, if the battery is better than what is currently in there then that would be sufficient for me.
If the battery was shown as a scam as it was in that photo posted above, then obviously this conversation can end here; but look at how much smaller the battery he has is compared to the wrap of the Chinese one. Isn't this illegal? Or because it's a Chinese company they can blatantly false advertise anything they want?

Pretty much, happens all the time, all you can do is ask for a refund. Now start reading up on the g2 battery swap if you want more capacity.
THIS is why I am VERY skeptical about the rumors of the 2015 LG Nexus 5 (5.2", 1440p) and the 2700 mAh battery it will supposedly have.
The original 2013 Nexus 5 was 4.95", 1080p and came with a skimpy 2300 mAh battery. (My wife and I owned two of them and were always looking to plug in somewhere.)
A BIGGER BATTERY would have solved my one complaint about the otherwise excellent Nexus 5.
BUT, the 2013 LG G2 (on which the Nexus 5 was based) was 5.2", 1080p and came with a 3000 mAh battery. Why didn't they use THAT battery?
Now they want to give us a 5.2", 1440P display with a 2700 mAh battery? That's not even as good as the LG G2 from two years ago!
Come on, Google! Just put a bigger battery in it! If 3000 mAh was for the 5.2", 1080p LG G2, then you need BIGGER than that for a 5.2", 1440p display...
Here's what I'm talking about.
I skipped the too-big 6" Moto Nexus 6 for the 5.2", 1440p version of the phone called the Moto XT1225. Have two of them, running on AT&T on CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1). An AOSP ROM is also available.
5.2",1440p, Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM, Qi wireless charging, Turbo charging, 64GB storage, sound familiar? 99% same specs as the Moto Nexus 6, but in a BETTER size. Yet, my 5.2" Moto XT1225 has a 3900 mAh battery -- bigger than the actual Nexus 6 battery. It's GREAT!

It's truly a shame that Google thinks people prefer slimmer phones as opposed to bigger batteries. A poll showed that more than 70% of people would rather have a slightly fatter phone with a battery that can last over 24 hours than have a slim phone. The battery on the N5 is the only reason I can't convince myself to switch to T-Mobile and get it. The G2 battery mod might be my best bet.

Just so y'all know, I've replaced my stock battery with the one from LG G2 (3000mah). Yeah, my install included using a Dremel to cut down excess aluminum from the frame etc, but the fit is like stock, everything including wireless charging works, 6+ hours of SOT. And yeah, I did it almost two years ago.
Best DIY ever, I only wish it came like that when it was new. I replaced the Nexus with a new phone in December, but just turned it on a few days ago, wiped clean, installed fresh nougat on it and goddamit, how I still adore that thing...
I am planed to buy a extended battery. I found Link Dream 3.7V 3200mAh Battery(stock battery size). Is it good? anyone using this battery?

That is not available in ebay india Are you using Samsung 3000maH? can you share your battery life?
Have you not considered the 7000mAh battery by Zerolemon? I have had mine now for nearly 2 years and would find it hard to go back to a lesser battery. Its a bit bulky but its nice not having to think of how much battery life remains on my phone I get 2 days of pretty heavy usage with around 10 hours screen on time.
oem or compatible battery
I'm finally ready for a new higher capacity battery. There are batteries on ebay, but im worried they may be overrated or may bulge or explode. Any recommendations for a cheap high capacity battery and a reputable ebay seller?
Any reputed manufacturer for these high capacity batteries?
I just bought and tested a Link Dream 2500mAh battery and it had less than half the stated capacity, so I'd suggest getting a more conservatively rated battery from a credible source.
Hi all,
Anyone know of a good quality replacement battery for the Le Max2?
I recently cracked my screen, so now I'm considering replacing both screen and battery.
I charged it today from 0-100% with my battery gizmo reporting just over 2500mAh capacity left in the OEM battery.
So hopefully a decent battery will bring it back to life for another year of use.
85% of my battery is left in the battery.
So I can use it as 2600 mah.
It means there's a 15% loss in 1 year.
Just go to Aliexpress or ebay.com and buy the cheapest you can find. With LeEco dead some spare parts are getting hard to find, like grey screens or camera glass (not the protectors).
Just to report back; I bought one of the cheap 'original' 3100mAh batteries for my le max 2 on AliExpress. After installing it and giving it a few charges, I measured it at 2800mAh.
So not quite the advertised capacity, but more then the 2500mAh I had left in the 2 year old original.
What do you guys think, if I go for "original" 3100 mAh battery I guess I can get Like 2600-2700 real juice. Read the comments on Ali and if I buy extended version that is declared 4400 mAh , I will get real 3100 ...
Anyone bought some specific model recently and measured iz with accu?
Thanx in advance.
Hello guys,
Have you found any battery for le max 2 which has real 4000+ mAh capacity ? Because most of the batteries being sold are scam and only have ~3100 mAh capacities, instead of 4000+.
Thanks.
