Hello, I tried multiple times using wanam to get the date in the status bar. No success. Has anyone successfully accomplished this? Any advice is appreciated.

Hey search for "potato clock mod" It has what you're looking for. If you can't do the mod yourself then ask somebody to help you make the mod for the rom you are wanting to use it on.

Thanks! I'm using your hybrid x Rom. I will try today.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to do it. Do you plan on incorporating this into your next Rom or update?
Thank you

Is there any way to make it say whatever I want?? It'd be Awesome to have my own network
Be careful though. It changes all of the status bar icons back to Grey, except for the battery

AOSP 4.1.2 like Theme

Back online...for some reason 4.1.2 status bar mods are not working but I have it on my phone...very odd! New downloads are up and have been tested by me to ensure if flashed it all works
To get this theme working follow this
If you want to keep your apps:
Backup your apps with Titanium backup
Nandroid
Enter recovery (I am using TWRP 2.3.2.3)
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cahce
Factory Reset
System
Flash the:
ROM
Kernel
Theme (after you put the new phone.apk and contacts.apk into the zip
Status bar mods (Flash the first link first then the order wont matter)
Get on THIS ROM
Original Thread
I use THIS kernel
Original Thread
Then use THIS theme
Original Thread
I took the SecPhone.apk and SecContacts from SENDSPACE to make it work.
Original Thread
Flash all the status bar mods to make everything blue again (try to number these in the order I have them or at least the first one which gets themed by all the files below. (Drop the two files into the actual theme so it will replace the ones that dont work)

Thanks to all the Devs for making the mods they did so we could compile this on out i317.
cjsspape for the ROM
antiochasylum for the Kernel
raubkatze for the Status Bar theme
avetny for the Theme itself
joshbeach for the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk

I have a problem with my status bar not showing.
I used the two files from sendspace to patch up the them to fix the force close but when I reboot, I do not see my status bar.
I tried flashing the other 8 mods to change the color and I still don't see my status bar.
Any suggestions?
Ps. I am using the same ROM but using perseus kernel so that it can see my exfat memory card.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Other roms..
Anyone know if this would work with other roms? I really like Jedi and I dont want to leave it.

Tried with the one in OP also and still get same thing. No status bar.

Do all the status bar mods say 412 for u guys?
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I used the files given in the OP.
So yes the first 3 mods flashed after the theme do have the '412' in the filename.
Do me a favor. Flash the rom then the kernel. Then flash the status bar mods and skip the theme. See if you are still having issues.
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Still issues. Did just the mods and no theme. No Status bar.
Sent from my SGH-I317 using xda premium
One of the mods is causing an issue. Let me get home and ill figure it out. Sorry guys.
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
All should be good to go, delete everything you had (minus the ROM/Kernel/Theme) so all the status bar mods. Then flash away.
That's a lot to do just for a theme

Not really. Flash a rom, kernel, theme and status bar mods. Done. If you use twrp you can do it in two flashes since you can flash 10 files at once. I use 4 others mods on top of that stuff. Takes like 2 minutes in recovery.
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
My text messaging doesn't look like the one in OP. Is that another mod?
Sent from my SGH-I317 using xda premium
I flashed everything and now it works. Thanks OP!
Minor note: does anyone else find a small lag here and there after installing the theme?
Has anyone tried this with CleanROM 3.0.1?

Carrier Name (Banner) Change?

Hi Friends,
Searched for this on Google and etc... Can anyone confirm that there is NO WAY to change the Carrier Banner Name (In my case "Sprint") on the TouchWiz ROM right now?
If there is, actually, can anyone please share how?
Thank you so much!
Some roms have it removed completely which is what I want but I have yet to find how to do it

[Q] [Help Needed] How to flash my Note 3 to stock android

Hello everyone,
I just received my used Note 3 (T-Mobile) today that I bought from ebay, but when I turned it on I found that this phone has a custom rom installed.
As for the moment I don't want a custom rom and I want to use the stock software version on Note 3, can anyone please help me how can I do this???
Phone model is: SM-N900T
Android Version: 4.3
Build number: Darthstalker note 3 version 4
I live outside the USA and it would be nice even that when I flash to stock rom I will have my phone unlocked to use with my SIM cards here on my country.
I was searching a little online and here on the forums but I found that I couldn't flash to stock rom because of the 4.4.2 rom.
If anyone can help me, I will really appreciate it...
Thank You
Regards

Thnx phil,
Another question
I have successfully updated my Note 3 to stock 4.4.2 T-mobile but I haven't seen the new updates that comes with 4.4.2.
For example I don't see the camera icon on the home screen. Or I still have the tabs apps and widgets on the apps homepages.
Did I make anything wrong or I have to install any launcher or something else to make this other changes available.
I attached a screenshot to show you what I mean.
Thank You
P.s
I am sure that I did the update and I am running 4.4.2, at least this is what at the ABOUT DEVICE shows
I still have the tabbed app drawer, which is fine with me. As for the camera shortcut, try settings>device>lockscreen and make sure the setting is selected

Thnx for the fast reply.
I had secured the lock screen with pattern this is why I was not having this feature.
I changed it to swipe and everything is OK now.
As for the tabbed app drawer do you know how I can remove it??? I want to have only the app icons without the tabs showing.
Thnx again
Try hitting the menu button in the app drawer and playing with all the options.

Thnx for your help anyway...

Navigation bar?

Haven't found a way yet to enable the navigation bar without causing system ui crashes. Anyone else have a way to try? I've used xposed and build.prop edits thus far with no luck. I'm guessing it has something to do with Samsung's "side key panel" feature? Very much like navigation bar but can't get it on the bottom.

Yeah, I too desire this. Too bad I am not a skilled dev...
There is another thread herein that is a bit more active: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...tkeys-t2924918
At the end of the day, I am not aware of anyone having worked through this yet on the Note 4 with Stock ROMs thereon, rooted or otherwise.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Still on KK at the moment waiting for xposed to work for Sammy Roms on lollipop. If ever. But once I make the leap I'll look to do this. Thanks again.

You're welcome. Yeah, on Xposed...
I'm going to look into customization of the navbar later in the week. I'll advise if I make any headway.

Hey there. Just a courtesy heads-up that I've moved on to cmRemiX (v3.8, atm) which is a cm 12.1 based version of Android 5.1 for the SM-N910P. It has a customizable navbar and a plethora of very useful features that I'm using as my daily driver now.
