[ROM] ICE KING SANDWICH V1.1 by KING4Developers

here is the first Italian Rom created by me for the SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS

Installation procedure:
make a backup of applications and data with wipe because you will delete 'all the contents of your phone
1) copy the files on the external sd
2) reboot into recovery (ClockworkMod 4.0.0.9)
3) make a backup nandroid (useful to restore your files and apps)
4) make the full wipe (Cache, date and Dalvik)
5) Flash zip from sd card -> select the file
6) reboot system now
Optional 7) reboot into recovery and go to backup and restore / advanced restore / YOUR BACKUP / Restore date (this puts all the files and apps as you had before flashing this rom but leaving unchanged the current Rom)
CAUTION DO NOT BELIEVE ME RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR ENDING TO THIS ROM
INSTALLATION REQUIRES A LONG TIME, AND THE FIRST TO START is very slowly because recreate the cache, do not be alarmed

You should probably point out that this is just a ROM that you've baked from the MoDaCo kitchen as your starting point then chucked in a *VERY* few mods.
How do I know? As well as matching MD5s for most of the content, you have a /system/app/GoogleQuick* directory, an error I made in Ir6.

Seems a bit like stealing if you used a Rom that you only payed to have a copy for your phone. Yet your distributing it.

I don't really see the point in just starting with one ROM, lumping in all the mods you can find other people have made then slapping your name on it, that's all... but each to their own.

I have already explained that I made the changes that I look better from Roma and other users, and I assembled a rom and I gave him a name, do not charge money for this, I do not receive compensation, and do not do it for profit , I only do it for passion.
I remember that Android is an open-source project, In computing, open source software whose authors indicate (more precisely the rights holders) allow, even encourage them free study and the changes are made by other independent programmers .
so I have not done anything wrong, but I just picked up the mods of different authors and I gathered in a rom!

[ROM] Optimized Kezra V4 Final [Android 2.3.6, Custom .35 Kernel, V6 Supercharger]

First of all let me thank all you member of this newborn community which is the Galaxy W's! Without you guys there would be no point in releasing this anyway.
First off credits:
Arco68 for helping me guiding me in this odyssey that is making Android builds and teaching me how the updater-script thing works and for allowing me to test some stuff which really helped me release this. Also for his custom Ancora kernel
knzo for helping me get started with Android and giving me the first tips that helped me want to learn more and do more. Also for his build.prop tweaks which are pretty handy
qzem for being one of the motivators behind the community and how got us the RZR Recovery as well as getting me Arco's kernel when my computer was being a slut.
dsixda for his awesome kitchen in which I cooked this ROM.
zeppelinrox for his funtastic V6 Supercharger script
Now what does this ROM have?
It is based on the Samsung Stock 2.3.6 ROM (latest EU ROM) but has been modded for better performance.

- Roboto Font from Android 4.0 (ICS)
**NOT SO SMALL (xD) AND (POSSIBLY) MOST STABLE RELEASE YET**
The only things left from the TouchWiz UI are the Launcher and the Social Hub (because I really like it. The Hub that is. Launcher sucks balls.) apart from things tied to the framework like Phone, Contacts and Messaging.
In the instruction at this time (time of V3 release) I'll leave also instructions to integrate V6 Supercharger by zeppelinrox which should make the phone much more fun to use
A OC Version of the ROM is coming in the next few days aswell, as soon as I make sure it is stable.

Instructions for Flashing:
(1) Reboot your phone into recovery;
(2) Make a backup of your current ROM;
(3) Wipe data/cache
(4) Format /system/
(5) Flash the ZIP
(6) Enjoy.
Instructions for V6 Supercharger
(1) Download this file and put in somewhere in your memory card
(2) Go to the Market and download "Script Manager"
(3) Open Script Manager and go to Config and choose "Browse as Root"
(4) Browse to where the script is and choose it
(5) Select only the ROOT symbol and then RUN
(6) First choose option 2 and when asked again choose option 6 (if you feel like taking a chance, choose option MEGA RAM 2) and V6 will install.
(7) After you are done with installing browse to /data/ in the memory of the phone, a file called 99SuperCharger.sh will be there
(8) Choose it, select run at boot
(9) Reboot and you should be done, enjoy.

AnTuTu Score w/ V6 Supercharger (option 6): 38xx
AnTuTu Score w/ OC and Supercharger (option 6): 40xx
(If you're updating from V1 or V2, I advise you to backup your apps and do a full wipe)
NOTE: IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH VIDEO, JUST INSTALL A VIDEO PLAYER AND IT WILL WORK FINE. I RECOMMEND MX VIDEO PLAYER.

F.A.Q.
(1) Will this ROM work on the Exhibit 2 4G?
A: No idea. Ask the devs for the Exhibit 2. The hardware is quite similar but some things do differ.
(2) Is this CM7?
A: No, it is not. I'll get on that when I can.
(3) What are the advantages of this ROM over stock?
A: It is rooted and much faster. Try it out yourself.
(4) What are the surprises you were talking about?
A: Unfortunately they couldn't be released at the same time as this ROM, so you'll just have to wait.
(5) Will you update this further?
A: As of V3, I dunno. I pretty much done everything I had to do to make it work as powerfully as possible.
(6) Is this overclockable?
A: It is as of V3, download the OC Rom.

I haven't got time to participate on the forum for a while, cause of my job getting on the way (we are moving the whole company of 350 pepole from two different location to one new, so I was (or I still am) very busy). Installed correctly, but seems to be stuck on the "Samsung" after rebooting, the logo just keeps flashing.
Edit: Nevermind, it worked now testing begins!

KP, a small question.
Now that the phone reads the external sd as the internal memory, I can finally see some use for the 16gb micro sd I was given for Xmas.
But I do want to keep all the data I already have on the one I was using up to now, so if I transfer the whole card on my PC and then on the other (bigger) card and finally put it in the phone, will I have all my data or will I be missing something because they are hidden Android system files?

I wanna sleep now it is 4am 'ere but because of this.....Thanks to All for BullDozing......

What you suggested should work. Switch stuff over from one memory to the other and you should be fine

This is my build of the original rom Android for our GT-I8000 Omnia 2.
I think it is very powerful and fast. I prepared two versions of the ROM:
V_7: problem (known) does not work bluethoot, and the GPS is hard to use (but working), but really FFFFFFFFFFast ROM!
V_8 fully functional (I hope!) but less fast ROM.
You choose which version suits you.
I take no responsibility if you wrong procedure and inflict damage to the device.

You must download this (inside there is guide with pictures) and rom
Version is 8: it's the same of 8.1: the only difference is that build for installation with Image for Windows
I suggest you partitioning you "my storage" with minitool; but after it's better reformat partition ext4 and swap under ubuntu!
Sistem will be faster

Which issues?

I make the partitions on the microSD and extract the rom to the ext4 partition, but haret don't boot android, is stuck on "loading android...". I make changes the startup file trying to boot, but no luck.

Twister ROM stuck all the time
especially when i want to connect usb cable for data tranfer. also wifi can not detect networks automatically
it is a very good job, since frenkie made his ROM very overloader with applications.
i do not want these applications. i only want a ROM with minimum possible so to customize them ourselves.
also if possible give to the public a gho version of your ROM. it is much easier than TBI format.
i also noticed that the autoinstaller version and the TBI version have many differencies on frenkiedroid.
autoinstaller version is more simple (fewer apps) but TBI version is faster.

HELLo everyone...
After several weeks, months and before Android 12 released, i decided to share this ROM to this A51 community. Hopefully you guys enjoy it and don't offend me if the ROM is bad, so....let's get it ON.
Things to do before flashing:
1. Make sure you're on binary 5 (this ROM tested and using binary 5 vendor, so to avoid any broken or whatever error flash your device with latest firmware).
2. Backup your IMEI (highly recommended).
Flashing:
1. Clean flash is recommended. Flash kernel, flash J4F vendor and system.img, flash multy disabler (if necessary) then full wipe and also you can perform "typing YES" format. Reboot to recovery again, then flash as usual you guys always do (Magisk etc.).

Advise and Tips:
- It's normal during first boot if lags occurs, give the ROM some times to settle, finish your setup, update your apps and you good to go..
- It's better to avoid update in Galaxy store related to system app, such as MDE Service Framework, Samsung Core Services etc. It might causing conflict due to mixed up firmware. But anyway it's up to you.
- Please do not complain regarding app missing (getting debloated) and related to debloat. Because it's very hard to acomodate every person's taste. Bloatware is very Objective and absurd for each person and I know it's supposed to be using Aroma installer or any script but i don't have time that much to do that.

Greetings...
I'm gonna put this in short and sweet.
Very good for those who lazy in reading.
So, this custom ROM based on S20 FVC and A51 FVD2. ROM packed with 3 images: system/vendor/kernel.img. Unpack first and flash!!!!!
Things to do before flashing:
1. Make sure you're on binary 5 OneUI 4.1 (this ROM tested and using binary 5 vendor, so to avoid any broken or whatever error flash your device with latest firmware).
2. Backup your IMEI!!!! this is not scare you or because of flashing this ROM, but this is standard/basic procedure if you modified your phone
coz I guarantee you will cry if your IMEI loosing and you don't have backup. BLAME YOUR A** STUPIDITY!!!
Flashing:
1. CLEAN FLASH is A MUST. Flash image then flash Magisk (use Canary version recommended).
Now without custom kernel, so if you using stock kernel, flashing Magisk is mandatory
and also dm-verity.
ROM Features:
1. Samsung DeX
2. Flagship live blur (disabled) - you can enable it but cost in performance
3. Flagship edge lighting style
4. AirCommand (hand touchy)
5. LiveDrawing
6. Multy screen resolutions (HD+ - FHD+ - WQHD+)
7. 1000++ system fonts
8. Some "small" flagship features: extra dim, processing speed, object eraser, shadow-reflection eraser, remaster pic etc.
9. Camera features unlocked (pro video etc.)
10. All original A51 features
11. Common tweaks here and there and so many possibility to unlock another flagship features
Bugs: - Audio glitch -- Fixed (look at bellow message)
- QWHD resolution: will overlap status bar (not really priority, could harmful slowly kill your screen), but will try to fix.

if you want with that combo, flash product also... last time i tried with not updated product, some battery graph didn't show "full" and possible other broken.
just migrate to 4.1 for easier

Installing in this week

When I try to copy the sys.img to the phone it just makes an error sound from my pc. the other img files have been copied succesfully except for the system.

i think that is your own technical problem. don't copy large file while your phone in recovery mode.

use adb push to your sd it works , get same issue with my a40
