Hello all. Hope someone can help me. I have 3 pieces of T210. I have tried 4.2.2, 4.4.2 and 3 custom firmware. Im very surprised because the wifi signal is not stable even if im 1 meter far from wifi router. Tried to many kind of routers, Mikrotik, ubiquiti, cisco. Another problem am facing is the WDS option (roaming). when im on a WDS network (2 or more routers) the tabs need to many time to switch at the best signal about 15-20 sec or more. I have tried some apps saying improve wifi switch but no results. Can anyone tell me if there is any kind of modification to android to increase scanning time (or let it always on) even if the device is on standby. I don't care about battery life. Thank you for reading.

Hello together!
I have a problem with my Desire
I'm using CM7 since months without troubles.
But from one night to the other my wlan signal is extremly low, i have one bar of signal strength directly at the hotspot (no problems with other mobile phones or notebooks etc)
After that i tried many things:
newest radio, newest CM7, a new middle case ... without success.
The GPS signal is good ...
I think the Bluetooth signal is also not so good, but i don't have a reference here.
So i hope anybody can help me here!
Thanks pmneo
but does your wifi work ok , i mean are u able to surf on ur phone with wifi ??
or do u have to sit near the hotspot for that ?
i can surf about 3-5 meters around the hotspot.
Before i got that problem i was able to surf everywhere in the house ...
Do you also have the problem with other hotspots?
If not it's a hotspot issue (change wifi channel or something), if so I would advice to test it with a standard rom to be sure.
If it's still bad with the standard rom after that it's probably the hardware of your phone.
Try with another hotspot. If problem remains, do a backup and hard reset, or you can even try a new rom.
I tried the hotspot @ work -> same problem
I tried some other roms -> same problem
I think the antenna is the problem ... does anybody nows where the antenna is located?
Thanks pmneo
My note 8.0 is having an issue where it does not hold its connection to Wi-Fi for more than a few minutes, at most, and often does more than that. It honestly does not affect performance a great deal, that I can notice at least, but I do think it drains the battery much more quickly and the constant alerts are quite distracting and get in the way of my handwriting input.
The common wisdom seems to be to have Wi-Fi always on, but that didn't change the behavior whatsoever.
I did not notice this behavior until I finished my vacation and came back to my work where we have a much more complex network than my parent's house. Here, there are numerous routers throughout the office complex to ensure total Wi-Fi coverage. They use 802.1x authentication. I'm wondering if the device is basically "choosing" a new router each time it disconnects. My desk is about 10 feet from a router, so I know signal strength is not the problem.
I just can't figure out what else to do or try to do. This is a Wi-Fi-only model running Android 4.2.2 as updated OTA from Samsung. Unrooted, locked bootloader.
Hey!
I've had my Oneplus 3 for a couple of weeks now, and I am having major connection issues while using mobile data. Most of the time I am unable to get any connection so I can't even make a phone call. I have read about similar issues and how they have been resolved, but none of the tricks have done it for me. If I enable airplane mode and then disable it, I get a weak connection for a while (maybe 10 minutes). I have two IMEI-codes on my phone, like I should. WiFi connection works well. I am on OOS 3.2.4 at the moment.
Here's a list of all the things that I have tried:
Another SIM-card
Another service provider
Manual APN settings
Different OS versions
Turning radio off and on from the "secret menu" (*#*#4636#*#*). This has the same effect as the airplane mode, which means that I get a weak connection for a moment.
Every bit of help is greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem with 6 ROM (all based on CM). After a day or so i lost connection.
Now i'm on Official CM13 and its all working for 4 days (fingers crossed).
The only thing that i've done different is that i didn't use Titanium Backup and also CMThemer.
I don't know how helpful this is, but that's my experience with the matter.
Cheers !
I am having same issue from the day 1 of my usage. Upgraded OxygenOS, tried different SIMs, changed APN, toggled preferred connection LTE to 3G etc and even on Official Cm13, the issue persists. Even when I am outdoors, the connection is poor and unstable. The same SIM works very well on Oneplus 1 without any issues. I am really fed up and regretting my choice to buy Oneplus 3. Is there any way to solve this issue? I stay in Dubai and there are no Oneplus service centers here and neither I can return the device, as the return period has expired.
Hello community,
1. I have a low wifi signal - about 10-12 dbm less then my old lg g3 or lg g5 or galaxy j7 pro - seams it is just an integrated wifi antenna issue and there is no way to fix it
2. When scanning wifi networks I have a very not stable results: even when the signal is excellent about 55-60dbm the ssid is appear and goes all the time occasionally - seams it is a wifi driver bug
Especially I see it when using WIFI analyzer.
Couple of days before I opened thread with Sony support and don't have answer.
I must have the WI-FI card working well !
Someone have the same issues?
Someone have any ideas about fixing the low wifi signal ?
Thanks,
p.s the wifi connection is stable with day by day standard usage.

hi
I CANT EVEN USE WIFI
like u said,i found my signals are very weak at the first.
i think its just a bug and didnt care about it
however 1 week later my phone suddenly cannot connect to any wifi.all the wifi spots are shown as almost no signal and it will repeat"connecting, saved"'
and i found this is a serious problem, used Xperia companion to fix that
But it didnt work and i couldnt turn on the wifi option now.
it will reboot when im trying to turn on the wifi option.
i think its likely to be a hardware issue, but my LTE worked very well without problem.
im very Confusing now
Hello Folks,
In summary, the WiFi stack on OnePlus 11 is quite unstable compared to other smartphones (that are also based on Qualcomm SoC with built-in modems).
First off, I've two 802.11 AC (WiFi 5) routers. Compared to my Asus (ROG 5) and Motorola (Moto G 5G Plus) phones, I've noticed that my new OnePlus has better reception for both mobile and WiFi networks. E.g., at the same location where ASUS has say -30db signal, OnePlus 11 shows -27 or -28db. So performance wise, it's fantastic, however, stability of WiFi connectivity is subpar. Between performance and stability, obviously I always prefer stability. I've up-to-date OnePlus 11 CPH2449 device (CPH2449_11_A.08).
I've been using the phone for about 5 days & these are the three distinctive WiFi problems with OnePlus 11 that I've observed in that duration:
1. WiFi dieing silently:
I've seen many times that all of a sudden the WiFi symbol will disappear. Then checking the status of the connectivity will show that it had silently dropped/died. Sometimes, it'll reconnect on its own within 10 odd seconds. When it doesn't, then toggling WiFi off and then on may help. When even that doesn't help, then toggling airplane mode on and then off becomes necessary/only-way to re-establish the connection. During these episodes, the phone is barely 2 metres away from the routers with a clear/unobstructed line of sight with them. Needless to say, neither ASUS nor Moto exhibit this problem while these episodes are playing out with OnePlus 11.
2. VoWiFi dieing silently:
While operating the phone (non-phone-call situations), a number of times I've seen that the VoWiFi logo would drop and VoLTE logo would appear. Interestingly enough, within a matter of 10+ odd seconds, it'd re-establish the VoWiFi connectivity on its own.
3. WiFi not roaming efficiently:
When moving faraway from one router and close to another, it doesn't roam to the closest one, instead holding onto the furthest one. But putting the phone down for say a minute with the screen off, triggers the roaming to the closest router! WiFi assistant neither helps nor hinders this behaviour.
In short, it'd seem the whole WiFi stack is riddled with stability issues. I've done "Reset Network settings", which didn't help with those issues.
Am I the only one facing these issues?
Thanks for any help/guidance.
Wifi Issue
Anyone have wifi dropping off and reconnecting after flashing to oxygen os? I seem to keep experiencing this. Anyone have any fix?

No issues with Wifi.
Just downloaded over 130GB over Wifi and ftp server on the phone without a single interruption. Took over 3 hours and no problem.
I have similar issues. My wifi will randomly drop out and then pick up again in that time sometimes it will say internet offline. I've been noticing it the last week or so when that happens.
I've escalated my problems to OnePlus support. After a number of discussions, I think we got the winner: Disabling ipv6 in my WiFi network seems to stabilise it!
I've been trying this only for the past few hours, but it's proving positive so far. Still I'd prefer to test this over at least a day or two.
I've had WiFi just stop working finds no networks. Even turning the toggle off and back on again doesn't work. But after a reboot works fine again. Mines a euro model on fw09

I've seen similar behaviour. Turning flight mode on and then off helped me on those circumstances. Mine too EU version CPH2449.
Now, if the root cause is identified and addressed, then it ought not to even regularly disconnect from WiFi in the first place, so subsequent problems like reconnection issues can be avoided then.
Disabling ipv6 has proven to be a good workaround for vastly improving my phone's WiFi stability. Of course, they need to identify and resolve the problem that's making WiFi & ipv6 incompatible though.
