Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware started to roll out for the Xperia T2 Ultra and T2 Ultra Dual earlier this week. Apart from the usual features to be expected with an update to Xperia KitKat, we were surprised to see the addition of an apps to SD card feature.
The KitKat update for the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual (D5322) took the form of build number 19.1.C.0.116. However, another (very tiny) update has been certified for the handset with build 19.1.C.0.117. This is most probably a small bug fix that Sony didn’t get to push with the KitKat release. We’ll let you know if Sony releases this update.

i hope it will have good development of roms and kernels
I am also waiting for M5.
m5 all the way .. hope the battery performance n camera performance is gre8 .... i really really want the m5 to click gre8 photos with its cam ....
M5 seems to be a nice upper midranger with one exception. Bezels. They're massive. They're ugly. They're a disgrace. Even the HTC One M8 has smaller bezels but unlike M5 it has powerful stereo speakers! Z3 has been criticized for big bezels while they're actually ok and nothing about the M5 when it's much worse in this department?

I do think that the xperia m5 is more appealing than c5 ultra . It's specifications are just right and balanced.
Hi there's just obtained the device myself but was a long term user of Battery Care on the Xperia X and it worked fine on that although people said it wasn't supported. I've had it installed for a few days but haven't noticed anything as of yet...
Does the XA1 Ultra support Battery Care? If not, I really think this should be considered
Just last night I received the Battery Care notification for the first time on this device and now we can confirm that yes, it does work on the XA1 Ultra ?

Hi everyone, I'd like to share with you a video review I've made of the best compact devices of 2017, if not the best, our Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. I've owned the device for awhile before making this real-life review and I also had the previous 2 versions, the Z3C and Z5C.

Enjoy, thanks for watching & Happy Holidays!
IMO the XA1 Ultra is a pretty solid phone, but the 2016 XA series that launched on Marshmellow didn't get Nougat. However, the XA1 series was a pretty big step up with the Mediatek P20 being 16nm over 28nm of the P10. So I'm concerned if Sony/Mediatek will abandon the XA1 series after Oreo (which isn't getting Treble). And based on my browsing of this forum, the XA1 Ultra has 0 ROM support (which makes sense being MTK).
Since the XA2 series is confirmed to have Treble, does that mean Sony will give it 2-3 updates since they don't require new SoC binaries?
We don't know. It's getting 8 though
