Removing carrier "home" on rooted Samasung S4mini on straight talk - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a new (to me) Samsung S4 mini, SGH-I257 on Straight Talk. I've successfully rooted it using kingroot, and have the xposed framework installed. On many Straight Talk devices, the carrier listed in the notification bar reads "HOME". I've tried several xposed modules that claim they can remove/edit the carrier text, but I've been unsuccessful. I can change the carrier text on the lock screen, but I can't seem to remove or change the "HOME" on the notification bar. Can anyone help?

Have you tried xblast xposed module?

[Q] Not seeing any changes in Exposed Framework.

I have a SGH i317m. I rooted my note 2 on 4.3 for the time today and initially knox kicked in and blocked supersu. On the playstore it didn't give me the option to update it like some of the solutions said, so i uninstalled it and installed it again and it was fine. Root checker says I have root access and I'm able to use titanium back up pro and back up apps and freeze them, at least that's what it says and lets me do. I now downloaded xposed framework and started downloading modules and for example I downloaded the XBlast tools module and only certain things show as a change for me. Also when i reboot my phone, soon as it reboots it tells me "unfortunately, supersu has stopped working" .The way I've been getting around this is by just reinstalling it from es file explorer using the apk and it works again. I'm just worried my phone isn't entirely rooted (if that's possible) because I don't see colour changes that i customize in XBlast Tools. Only the battery icon can be changed and it i can't even change the backroudn colour of the status bar like it gives me as an option.
Much appreciated.

[Q] Remove No SIM icon

Is there a way to remove "No SIM" icon from notification bar in chagalllte? Maybe a build.prop edit?
Somone said there was a update from samsung yesterday that fixed this. Try updating your tab s in the software update option.
Well, I'm rooted, so no update for me unless I hit SamMobile then break out Odin, and I'm too lazy to do that now. In fact, I just looked at SamMobile and the latest firmware is from July.
But thanks for the tip; I'll do it when I have some time.
Wait a minute... I said the wrong thing! I thought it said the SD card nonification! Stupid me! Well since your rooted install xposed and download wanam xposed and open wanam xposed. Then go to nonfications in waman xposed and tick the hide carrier label icon. It may work it may not as it maybe a carrier label.
How about this? Its in build prop editor

Mine also opens to dialer not history. As far modules go I'm using the XHangout, Xposed GEL Settings, and WiFiKeyView modules right now. XHangouts to change the hangouts theme color to match my setup.Used Xposed GEL to remove the white google search bar, from my Google Now Launcher Home screen(FYI i have setup that it will still open if you say "OK Google"), and Wifikeyview to see my saved passwords. It did add an option to copy password need to check that one again. If i install anymore ill update.
I installed Amplify + Greenify to conserve battery and it works fine.

Okay, I Installed GravityBox (KK) to test it out and it works!
Anybody install busy box?
Yes.
GB KK is working. But for Status Bar Icons you need Xstana.
Any way to remove the network name (T-Mobile) in the status bar? GB Kk doesn't have that option to hide the network name in status bar.
I installed this and hdxposed thinking it would stop Amazon ota but I just got notification that kindle has been updated. So does hdxposed only block firmware updates, or is it broken altogether on fire phone?
I have installed xposed installer on my fire phone and it is rooted but when I open xposed installer framework it can't be install and uninstall please help

Issues with gravity box and keyboard and possible restarts

I have three separate issues:
1st issue ->
Installed gravity box on the HTC10 unlocked grey, it was first flash with the vzw radios with s-off and root/su. then later it was flashed with the RUU and maintained s-off along with root/su. I installed xposed framework and xposed installer successfully. Then i installed gravity box.
The problem is with the status bar on the home screen of nova launcher. it doesnt show anything(i.e. blank) but i can still access it by pulling it down, however on other screens it is visible and working.
2nd issue ->
There seems to be random restarts because i have to use my pin randomly to unlock the device.
3rd issue ->
When i switch to another installed keyboard the touchpal sense keyboard resets itself as the default keyboard. Sometimes this is immediate and sometimes it is randomly within a minute or while i am typing/texting.
Phone setup:
HTC10 unlocked carbon grey
S-off
Rooted
vzw radios were flashed first

Next i changed and flashed the RUU for verizon
still had S-off

samsung visual voicemail on sm-n976n

I cannot get the samsung visual voicemail apk to run on my sm-n976n.
For some background, I have an unlocked sm-n976n that has been been rooted and twrp installed via @dr.ketan 's method. I'm on the Verizon network.
From Phone Info:
bootloader: N976NKSU1AsJF
PDA: N976BxxS1ASJ6
CSC: N976NKOU1ASJE
I am also running Dr. Ketan's rom, hence the "N976B" PDA code.
So far, I have tried sideloading and installing the app. I get a "not supported" toast when trying to run the app. I've also tried installing by manually inserting the apk into the system apps folder. The app runs and shows me permissions etc. then goes to a blank screen that says "visual voicemail is not supported on this network. Contact your service provider..." I have no voicemail funcionality whatsoever. How in hades do I get this thing to work?
