ZOPO Speed 7 Plus Source Code Released
Continuing a trend started with other devices before, ZOPO just released the source code for its flagship Speed series devices – the Speed 7, Speed 7 Plus and Speed 7 GP.
The source code has been released and is totally open to use and develop by anyone in the community. What this means is that all programmers and tech enthusiasts will be able to fully customize the ROM of the device, changing it, tinkering with it, modding...anyway, skills and imagination set the limits.

How did you enter to the engineer mode on this phone to see names of camera modules?
Which special code did you use?
Can this thing be rooted and run xposed?

Sorry I can answer the last question but just wanted to contribute that I understand Blackview have recently opened the sourcecode for this phone and have a forum also on their website for questions..seems like a new OTA update is being prepared.

you can install Xposed if you want.

I just bought one of these, and I can say I'm a little dissapointed, because:
- Publicity/Marketing of UMI says the Camera has a 2.0 Fast Aperture lens, when in fact it only has 2.4 aperture lens. This means much less light goes into the camera photo sensor... Not sure if it has the Sony sensor also or not... Anyonw knows how to check this?
- The biometrical security of the fingerprint sensor, can only be used to unlock the lockscreen. I haven't found the option to use it to lock individual apps or do anything else. Anyone knows how to do this?

We have no finished ROMS yet, however in the Mi4C forum, we have 2 (AOSP/CM and RR) that are both under active development under a unified base (Mi4C/Libra and Mi4S/Aqua) that in time will fully support the Mi4S. Currently the only non functioning hardware is the fingerprint reader so they're very usable as daily driver ROMs
