[Q] Frontfacing camera crashes the cam app

Ok i am going to try to describe the problem. In the camera app everithing works but when switching to the front facing cam it freezes and it says camera aplication stoped working. I have tried in several apps, roms, kernels and the problem remains. Is it a hardware problem? And another problem is that the back camera pictures look kind of crappy (blurry) i bought it used a few months ago and it keeps bugging me. Is there a way to fix it?

I have the same problem, but on the back camera. I think it's a hardware issue.

My front camera caused the same issue. Getting the app to work required stopping the process so it would default again to the front cam. This was about 6 months ago..
I just tried it again and the front cam works... Kind of. Images are blurred and screwy.
Gonna say it's a hardware issue?

[Q] Rear camera problem - Does not Focus at all. Huawei P6

My Huawei P6 Rear Camera does not focus at all.
When I touch the screen nothing happens, the image just looks blurry.
It happened on the standard stock O.s, I have installed a 4.4.2 o.s and the problem is the same.
Does anyone perhaps have a fix or knows why this happens?
I have seen the similar issue on a friends Sony Xperia Z.
The most constructive thing Iv'e read is that the lense is perhaps scratched but this is not so or so I can see.
Please, if someone knows how or why could they let me know?
Especially if you have a soloution.

This is an example of the rear camera... I've tried a different camera app like the Google one. I'm just praying its not hardware. But its weird that I've seen this problem before but no one knows what's wrong.

I have the same problem :s

I repalced my huaweiP6-U06 ascend screen after it had cracked. Now the problem is with my rear camera it does not show an image it just flashes the light and no picture is seen and does not save. It keeps flashing the camera light. How should I fix it?

When i open the camera app it takes long time to open it and sometimes when i click the button to do a photo it freeze the app. This issues can be fixed? thanks for the help sorry but i don't speak english very well

Sadly i have same problem and some times i get camera not available .I am using 4k and slowmo fix.I wonder if thats the case

No, it's not a problem with the mods you're using. I have the same issues with the standard firmware without any mods applied.
Hoping for an update soon to fix these issues.

Don't update to .108 but wipe the system and flash it from scratch.

Try removing sd card and see.My problems went away (delay,stuck etc) after replacing sd card (64g sandisk ultra) back to a g.skill 32g works like charm.

That is normal,since kitkat we all have problem's with camera,there is memory problem i hope sony will fix this soon...

Hadn't any problem with mine so far, also upgraded to .108 via OTA.

I have been able to fix this issue on two Z1C phones using the following steps:
Reboot into safe mode
Clear Data and Cache for all camera apps and services
Turn off "Touch anywhere to capture" in camera settings
Uninstall SnapChat
Uninstall Skype
Reboot and voila!
Various reports online suggested that Skype and Snapchat are causing the Z1C issues, combined with the Touch Anywhere to capture feature.
This should fix your problems - although Sony still have to actually fix the firmware so that you don't have to do that

Doesn't work for me but its a problem of the camera somethimes i do photos with the Google camera and somethimes after i take the foto it freeze the app for 10 second or forever

the initial press from a fresh bootup is slow to open the camera app.
Afterwards its super quick.

[Q] Problem with camera sound

Hello everyone.I have a micromax canvas a1 which i got a few weeks back from amazon.But ever since i got i,If i open camera app and focus on something there's a sound ,its seems to be coming from near the camera but after i close the camera app its gone and it only comes when i focus on something,i never had this problem with other phones only this one. does anyone else have this problem?

Yeah..... Even i hear that sound.... but it's nothing to worry about.

Front camera "buzzy" "ticky" sound while focusing

Front camera making this annoyng sound while focusing, primary camera work perfect,does anyone have this problem?

Happens to me to,i think it's normal,i had my m5 replacement and that is still there,but it doesn't bother me as long as the photos are fine.
