Is a deal for sure, the price of G3 is unreal now and i recomend it for sure, overheat is not a issue because are solved with some know-how. Battery life is not a issue too, if you know what you doing, if you root it, debloat the rom and put greenify, trickster mod and a good kernel helps.
Now with those apps and a good brain i have more than 5 hours of screen time, 2 day's of battery...with gabriel.5 kernel in lagfree governor and 300/1500Mhz my phone run smooth.
Only deal-break you have is the cracks in microphones and IR or audio jack, i have mine since May and 4 day's ago my G3 starts to crack in microphone places and im affraid to crack even more because i opened it to put thermal compound in processor to solve the overheat issue and now i know im out of guarantee!
If you dont worry about cracks (now i dont, i love the phone anyway), and if you love good photos, good audio and screen quality...sure i recomend it, otherwise because the issues i mention is a no-go.

The thing is that i would keep the stock version as it is, I like it in stock version. Is it still good even without any modification?
What about cracks? Usual on the mic and jack??
If you use thermal compound heating is a real issue....
Don't know man i feel confused :laugh::laugh::laugh:

In stock with all bloatware you will have a lot of power hungry, not last for one day so...isnt a good deal stay with all those things.
About cracks is a know issue by LG itself, a lot of users report it in this forum and all around the web, if you search in google for lg g3 cracks you will see what im talkin about.
I use thermal compound because my phone have the heat issue, is my phone, and not every phone have this issue i guarantee you, some users report having that and other not, my phone in some apps heats a lot up to 76º degrees, now my max is about 56/60º with thermal compound!
If you see this phone the version of 3GB RAM/32GB Storage under 360$/360€ deffenitly buy it...for sure is a exelent device.

I have had the G3 since the day it came out, and I am happy with it, but there are better phones out there in the price range. If you're planning to keep it stock, I would recommend the Galaxy S5 over this. Much snappier performance and better UI in my opinion, and there is no heating issue. My phone does get pretty hot with moderate usage, and it hangs sometimes if you have too many apps open at once. I have rooted mine (debloated) and I use Xposed, and I even flashed a "thermal" mod that is supposed to help with throttling. All of this slightly helped with performance but I am still jealous of my friend's S5 (who kept it 100% stock) :silly:

If you want a recent and powerful terminal, G3 is not the best choice, there are SGS6, Nexus 6 and its successor G4, which actually are the greatest devices.
My feedback?
G3 is a great phone, despite I'm encountering shut off issues which affects only a restricted bunch of luckless possessors.
Excellent camera quality, excellent color fidelity (except for black which seems to be a "dark gray"), powerful CPU (too powerful, so overheating scenarios are frequent and sometimes cause a lagging experience), then the rom... surely better than a Samsung one, but remains a "plague" for a lagless experience, an AOSP custom rom is preferable in terms of performance.
A potential issue of this device, according to many amateur videos, is the weak digitizer which become untouchable in case of display crash.
Both G3 and Z3 were the better choices before the upcoming of the new 64-bit Android generation, if you want a good and expensive device I wouldn't longer suggest you to buy them.

Ciao!

Will Marshmallow and Doze Mode fix the battery problems Lollipop brought to the M8?

My HTC One M8 was running fine before the Lollipop update back in January. KitKat had great battery life (I had at least 30% when I got to bed) and never had lag. Since then I have to charge it a bit during the afternoon if I dont want to risk running out of battery and I have occacional lag which goes away when I clean the recent apps. Tried cache cleaning, did 2 factory resets, a couple of custom roms 5.1 based and even flashed the RUU file to bring it back to pristine state, to no avail since Android OS and Android Kernel are to 2 most battery draining app I have (checked on Gsam battery monitor). SOT is much worse also, I only get 3 - 3,5h maximum.
Do you guys believe Google and HTC are able to bring the battery life of this otherwise great smartphone to how it was before LolliFLOP?
Cheers
Its not as simple as "its Lollipops fault", nor do I think any "silver bullet" like doze mode on Marshmallow will fix your issue.
I've gotten up to 2 days on a single charge (light usage) on LP, and very similar to KK battery life.
As always with battery life, there are way too many variables specific to how each individual uses their phone, reception at your specific location, etc. to attribute poor battery life to something as simple as "its Lollipop".
You're right but the Internet is full of complaints like mine: after the first day with Lollipop battery life is much worse, without changing my habits or apps that I use. It's an empirical observation, not a subjective one.

Empirical yes, but its just a single data point. I'm not saying you are wrong. But there are far too many variables to say your particular battery drain problem is due to one specific issue; or can be fixed by one specific feature. Your main question/title is simply not answerable.
Case in point, I stopped reading the "battery life" discussion thread in the General M8 section long ago; due to the fact it devolved into 300+ pages of otherwise seemingly intelligent folks arguing endlessly (and pointlessly) about this tweak or that boosting battery life, and containing some very sad comments about how one person using their M8 for "only" web browsing and video streaming made them an "old person" and apparently not "cool enough" for the discussion.
Yes and no. Doze works when your device is not moving. If you are carrying it around in your pocket, like I do, Doze won't do anything. But if you forget to plug it in to charge and leave it laying somewhere, you should loose almost no battery due to Doze.
Overall, I think M will bring overall battery improvements as it, apparently, optimizes Lollipop. It wont breathe new battery life into an increasingly ageing device.

I understand how doze works and it's nevertheless a good add up from Google. My hope is that htc can somehow squash the bugs and make it more battery friendly since I think the Lollipop update was a bit rushed by HTC. Maybe not kitkat like but better.

WOW

Good evening all i purchased my new lg g4 today in tan and its better than expected,im just wondering what you all think of it if anybody has 1 and was it as expected thanks for readig
I think almost every member on G4 has it. It's great that you're satisfied with your purchase but there is no need to create an extra topic just for this.
Nah its a good topic. This particular's phone community is really bad tho. I have never seen a community bashing others in every single topic. You guys cant wait for root and constantly are putting down new members.
Really...? If you dont like his post, simply ignore it and move the **** on. Back on topic: I really love the G4. It has a great camera, very fast and responsive (had a few touch issues but it was fixed with a software update) great battery life when you disable gps/data when theyre not needed.
Only downside is the design which doesnt look as good after awhile next to the iPhone and Samsung's premium look but you get leather back for that!
I have had it for almost 3 months and Im still not sure about it. Sometimes I really hate it sometimes I just like it. Lollipop is the thing that makes me wants to destroy it the most.
@kidpaddle45
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I just came from a galaxy S6 in all its sapphire goodness. The G4 to me is stunningly beautiful. I was holding it next to my wife's platinum gold S6 and ooh that screen ratio is beautiful. Sure it's not the brightest kid on the block, but who needs to squint to show that off? With accessibility>vision>Screen color adjustment. I can match the colors of sexy amoled just fine. Yes, this is mine and only mine until the Spring flagships are released.
Off topic, the Xperia Z2 Tablet sub is a joke with Real condescending folks.

Sadly this is the norm for these forums. So many people are skilled at faulting someone's post and talking to them like they're in kindergarten. My favorite is "USE SEARCH FIRST! ! THIS QUESTION HAS BEEN ASKED! ! " As if no one and their grandma has ever heard of Google or has any idea that the forum search tool often sucks.
Right now I really like the phone but it has so much less support than my G3 on these forums plus so many people having strange issues like random boot loops of death on totally unmodified phones. On top of this my variant has no official KDZ/TOT file released
I've had my G4 for about two weeks, and overall I'm happy with it. Battery life could be better, but I think part of it is something strange going on with my phone causing fairly rapid drain every now and then. May try doing a factory reset to see if that helps
It's sort of a love/hate relationship with my G4. While I love the camera and form factor of the phone, I hate the battery life, overheating, and severe lack of development. I'm really hoping Marshmallow will fix some of the issues.
If they could improve the battery life, heating issues, and random performance lag, this would be damn near a perfect phone, even un-rooted. I had the G3 and HATED it. I like the G4 significantly better. I'm curious to see what they do with the G5 next year.
Mine overheats a bit, and I'm not even playing games.
Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk
Mine doesn't. I mean, when I play it does a bit, but it's expected.
I'm about to root my phone (I always do that, this is the first phone that I have for more than 2 weeks unrooted!!), but I do like it a lot (mainly camera).
It's really nice one (came from Galaxy S4).
What bothers me now:
1) When I use ProShot, it's draining the battery a LOT, as well as overheating (I'll check it with the DEV)
2) I do like using Google Now. However, with G4, it keeps activating GPS a LOT, more than usual!! Then, Android System shows as biggest battery drainer.
Overall, very happy.
Cheers.

It's the 'General' section so it's OK to post things like that here, I guess.
But to be honest... The title of this thread could have been more professional
I came from a Nexus 5, which I dropped unfortunately... So I was kind of forced to buy the G4 a few weeks ago.
I'm quite satisfied with the whole package. The community support could be better (Maybe I'm spoiled by my 2 years Nexus experience?!)
But I think we have one of the best phones on the market and the community is growing!
Wow. That's what I said too when I took it out of the box.
issues that irk me at the moment
-battery life is horrid even with mods
-heats up a bit and like someone stated above thats not ven when youre playing games.(also flashed heat mod)
-on screen buttons which is my biggest peeve, i dont understand why people love them and they are the norm, they take up screen real estate. i constantly accidently hit them all the time when im doing things in apps. its just my personal experience but in general a clusterFuk for me.
other than that I love everything else.

Does a reboot improve anything ?
There is no overheating, if it overheats then the device will shut down. SOP on Android.
You have some processes that generating heat. if you're shooting 4k this will happen.
If screen brightness is on max and you're doing something intensive it will happen.
@One Twelve I wouldn't count using Tapatalk as intensive task. Screen brightness level is usually around 40-70%.
The workaround that I use is using power saving mode but the display is dimmer. It is far from ideal, but this way, I can easily last the day without having my battery being drained by the the two cortex A57.

I have it for a week now, love it ofc. No problems so far. Hope I won't get any in the future too.
I believe battery life depends on what phone u came from. It's will be seem as good battery if u came from s4 but bad if u come from note 4/5.

Kinda the same here. Love the hardware, not a fan of the software. CM12 is coming along very well, though, and as soon as Bluetooth is fixed (so I can use my Moto 360), I'll be moving to that as my daily driver. From limited use, it seems very stable!
One major issue I ran into recently was constant power cycling. Even after 3 factory resets, it would power cycle non-stop. I ended up having to get it replaced.
Strangely enough, my friend's G4 started doing the same thing on the exact same day as mine. Both Verizon variants.
I dont get alot of the comments here. I have great battery life especially on standby. Software wise g4 has less bloatware than samsung and i accredidate that to the good performance and lag free experience when the processor is one gen behind current flagships. The form factor in the hand is good too curved back and back buttons are great and took me no time to get used to coming from samsung. If i have a gripe it could be the touchscreen responsiveness butits nowhere near as bad as some people make out.

Considering upgrading from a G2 to a G4? What's the battery life really like?

Hope I'm posting this on the right place, missed it and was told by an ad where to place last questions when I asked about another phone.... but of course I can't remember what he told me back then :silly:
Anyway, how is the battery life on a G4? From tech blogs to youtube reviews, opinions are all over the place. Some people say 2 and something SOT. Others claim it's great and that they can go a full day with heavy use and 3d gaming, etc and report over 5 hours SOT with that sort of use.
I loved my G2 for a long time because of how well it battery would last. It's not very good anymore, it went through a lot of charging cycles... Hardware and specs are enough for me, so I don't need the 820 on the G5 nor am I feeling the love for that phone from what I've seen. Especially for the difference on price the two will have and the bargain price one can get some places for a G4.
GSM Arena tools tell me the endurance batery test for the G2 is 81h, a terrible 54h on the G4. Web browsing (more the sort of load I tend to pull from a battery when it comes to SOT) gives it a much more bleak picture: 11:24 for the G2 and only 7:54 for the G4.
Should I trust these numbers? Is the G4 such a power hoarder? Are the different numbers I come across because of some version with or without some update that improved/made things worst?
I'm referring to a non-branded G4, international version. Opinions from real life users would be much appreciated!
Cheers! :good:

I have had a g4 for about 2 weeks and i want my g3 back even it seemed better on power than this. My g2 was pbenominal even acter 1.5 years old. This thing but i only have root no bootloader unlock no custom roms or kernals
I made that jump last week.
The G2 was an excellent phone.
The G3 didn't seem like much to me, and I couldn't understand the battery drop-off.
I'm loving the G4, the camera's excellent and the battery life, though not as good as the G2 is not bad at all.
So already I have two different experiences... one that the G3 is better than the G4, another the exact opposite Why is there such a discrepant experience? I know about low signal and constant scanning but I assume those two members above are using their phones on the same region/places/ways...
My G2 battery life is better than G4 at first. Then I turned off two cores in my G4, disabled some settings, and everything seems great now. Good battery life.
Today's battery life on my G4 H815,MM 20d,unlocked bootloader+root+Xposed+Greenify

I had my g3 modded out the gills. Undervolted all linds done bare minimal stock system i could get almost 2 days of moderate usage 6 to 8 bours sot. G4 i love the camera still expiermenting. Im rooted ive managed a few tweaks but not scare of bricking just hate to have to start over. Want over clock undervolt and id be happy. Just knowing i got a locled tight bootloader urks me the most. Its a great phone. Would prefer my g2 over 3 or 4 untill bootloader gets unlocked. I have a lotta quirks on mine i could fix. The battery seems to stay full untill about 12 or 1 then drops at about 1 percent every 3 or 4 min. So i charge off and on throug the day so when i home at night itll make it to bed with like 35 or 40 left
Well, those numbers posted look better than my G2 ever was. But I'm also seeing there's a lot of customization involved to unlock the potential of the phone. Is that why people are reporting such major differences? I must be getting way too old as I no longer find it fun to mess around with phones and PCs, I just want something that works and gets updates that make it better... NO!! This doesn't mean I should go with an Iphone!!
More of a general question... could it be worth keeping the G2 until these new midrange phones with the SD650 or 652 (something like that) start to pop up? I mean, they'll be more powerful than the G2 and probably as cheap or cheaper than a G4. I'm thinking about phones like the Idol 4S.
I've been away from the smartphone market for a long time and I'm having a real hard time catching up. Samsung seems to have turned into some sort of Apple where you pay for the "prestige" of the brand. Motorola has a couple interesting phones but apparently the new Lenovo owner is going to end the brand and I have no idea if that means support. And then these new Chinese phones seem interesting and apparently have good support... Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.
Point being, new midrange is pretty much flagship to my sort of use! It's hard for me to figure out if I even need a new phone! But I would hate to lose the buttons on the back, something that I think only LG owners would get
@Kutusov having read the above, I would seriously recommend the G4.
It's cheap (actually very well priced), still be cheaper as soon as the G5 is released, it's an excellent phone with a FANTASTIC camera.
And it's got the back buttons. In a very short time you'll understand just how far phones have moved in such a short time.
The G2 was spectacular in it's time.
The G3 was refinement but rough.
The G4 blows it away.
Made the jump from the G2 to the G4 a year ago, not disappointed at all
Battery life difference is roughly ~30 minutes worth of screen on time, with the G2 edging out ahead, everything else is just hands down better on the G4 ( excluding the rear facing speaker -_- )
So I'd say go for it, phone's pretty cheap now.
You'll get different results from everyone as we each use our phones differently, different apps and priorities.
If you have social media constantly updating and play 3d games you will need to carry a charger with you, it won't make it through a whole day.
I've disabled most of the bloat, use greenify and get upto 5hrs SOT when reading an ebook from the SD card, but only 3hrs when browsing on mobile data.
Overall I'm very happy with the G4, it would have been even better without the useless 4k screen but there's always a compromise.
I've had the G4 since July 2015 and I'm satisfied with battery consumption(Canadian H812 variant). Not rooted. I disable apps I don't use, installed Lux to control brightness & GPS is only ever used when I need it (rarely).
Per gsam app, averages since last complete charge:
Battery life: 1d 16.9hrs
Screen on: 5hr 48mins

I didn't have the G2, but I'll speak for the G4: the battery is OK.
I usually recharge every 2 days with a normal use (internet surfing, music, watch an episode of a series in the bus, watch the time,...)

Yes, I'll probably go for it. I've seen it somewhere for €330, brand new and sealed, same price no matter what sort of back cover.
I really do like the back buttons, I always go looking for them when I pick some other phone, I would really miss those.
Cheers guys! :highfive:

How did ya disable the big cores?
The only solution I found was a script.
With the custom Kernels I tried they always turned themself back on. But its been a while since I tried one.
And you get the battery life that you can expect from a 3000mah battery with an 5.5" screen at 1440p.
i would like to get one but not until if ever gets bootloader unlocked for US.
i was on a G2 and bought a G4, the battery life is not bad, but the G2 was way better, but, we are talking about a 1080p screen and a QHD screen...there are no miracles ! I am very happy whit my G4, takes very good pictures and for me, the battery gives "juce" for a day, watching movies/series going to the WEB (3G / 3.5G) but i just turn the data when i want, at home, always with the WiFi turn on, so, i wake up at 6:00AM and i get at home at 6:00PM and i still have 40% our 30%.
For me, this is a very good phone !

Yes, that's more or less my sort of use also. I know that LG wanted to come out with a very good panel to demolish the usually praised amoled from Samsung but it sort of sucks that they did. I have no use for it, maybe it's good for this new VR thing but that's something I'm not even curious to try.
Still, it has the quickest charge possible... swapping batteries
guys i know theres lemon battery. but isnt there like an aftermarket one that will fit like normal but higher mah?

Is the LeEco le pro 3 Elite worth it in 2018?

Hi,
as the title suggests this smartphone is currently my top pick, i have a tight budget (120 euros/140 dollars); and the Le pro 3 sits comfortably at 116 euros shipped.
Would you recommend it? I have zero experience with modding but i'd like to learn; are the chanches of hard bricking it (x722) high? I would not be able to replace it for while.
Thanks!
At this price you can't get any better.
A few phones at this range might have a bet camera and the official support is almost non-existent, but it's beautiful, well-constructed, has good battery, a good community and it's super fast and smooth. Is runs everything without lags and the processor is equivalent with the ones of iPhone 6s Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7, 300€/400€ phones.
There are currently 13 Oreo ROMS for it and will surely be more, P included.
As long as you flash files compatible with x722, you will not brick it.
Normally, it costs 150€, so run for it. NOW!
P.S. I think you posted in the wrong place, maybe you can ask a moderator to move the topic.

My bad, i thought this was the right section, sorry.
It still worth it AS A FLAGSHIP.
why should be worth? you have a "OnePlus3" inside as hardware.
The right place would have been the questions and answers section.
Just make sure you use the ROMs for the x722 some are universal some are not if you stick with the le pro 3 elite x722 development section you'll be pretty safe as long as you're careful and read everything in the first post you should be OK just make sure and do a full backup in twrp and copy it to your PC in case of problems. If your unsure about something don't do it till you're certain you understand the guide. Good luck
Yes and no.
If you want a phone that just works then get something else. Yeah, the Le Pro 3 has better looks and internals than other phones but the software is never perfect.
Currently all Oreo Roms drain the battery pretty fast, battery life is still good but not outstanding anymore. Also there are always some other minor issues like a wonky signal, app crashes as so forth.
The Redmi Note 4 or Mi A1 are the obvious other choice. You're getting a more "stable" package but the phones don't feel as premium, the RN4 also has worse camera.

Ah ... bullcrap. What does it mean "Oreo..drain the battery pretty fast"?
In technical terms, I charge the battery in the range 20-85%, and this delta of 65% = 2,645 mAh.
That charge lasts me a week (my Nokia E71 would not last that long).
Standby discharge + some usage = avg. 0.5%/hr (20mA/hr), airplane mode overnite = 0.1%/hr (4 mA/hr)
Maybe A1 with Nougat lasts longer with smaller battery, than X72x with Oreo...
And the RN4? To beg the commies for letting me to unlock my phone?
Really?
At this moment, the X722s (X720s long gone) are disappearing from the [Chinese] warehouses, ergo the price went over $200,
but if one doesn't have to pay any duties/taxes ... it is still a bargain for this 2 years old phone. https://tinyurl.com/ydamcw9y

Will oreo roms improve over time? Or is oreo itself that drains more battery?

Don't worry, the phone is fine. The battery still lasts quite long but I haven't gotten 9h screen on time on any Oreo ROM anymore. Things are constantly improving, you just need to spend a little time to reading the forums and flashing a new ROM now and then.

For me, Oreo doesn't drain the battery, i can play demanding games for 6 hours. SOT can last for days(and I'm using performance mode)

Don't worry. I have 8h/9h of SOT with AEX rom and Blackscreen kernel.
Just follow the instructions and get support in telegram, xda, google +...
The xiaomi phones referred are pure crap comparing to Le Pro 3.p

After skimming throught the forum i think i'm going to flash AICP, it comes with a kernel that should help tuning performace/battery, right?

Question How is the rom - kernel scene for the F3?

The price for the Poco F3 has gotten even lower here making it a incredible deal
I am quite tempted to pick up one but ii wanted to know how are the ROMs for it? what should i avoid and etc?
Which Kernel - Rom can net me more battery life too

Arrow is the only decent one.
Feel free to try others too but you'll most likely find arrow the most functional one - practically no bugs , no drain during night , almost full touch polling rate ( is close to miui touch polling , but leagues ahead of other aosp roms , enable it in settings first ), has kernel profiles per app like benchmark, gaming, etc. , is overall the best.
The only issue is that this phone is utterly shet in the custom ROM scene overall ... If you use arrow as the best representative of what's available you see that certain parts are almost as good as in miui like touch polling ( Never as good as miui tho... ) , and those are only few , basic stuff like camera doesn't work , auto focus is nonexistent , some camera sensors do no load like macro and idk if any other one ... The picture quality is utterly shet... Unusable
Idk what to tell you... There's other stuff too like screen edges showing pixels, brightness not quite as bright as the panel goes in the miui... In a year or two's time maybe it'll get as good as miui lol But I'd honestly get a pixel if you're into developing scene ( Don't expect much in here , the situation is that it works, many roms to choose from but still leaves a lot to be expected and I don't even mean any custom features... Just the basic hardware that phone came with)
I 'm not sure what the guy on top said, but since Lineage officially supports this phone, it's gonna stay a long time into relevancy. Lineage (and LineageForMicroG) is the only option if you want clean pure AOSP android. GCam's also are many. We are talking about 120hz refresh amoled display with a great chip 870, which till that day is quite powerful and most of all, does not thermal throttle easy. Watch this youtube video to see for yourself! All in all this phone was a major step forward from the F1, which I come from and don't go into the ROM rabbit hole (been there done that). The only ROM that is relevant/stable/clean is Lineage.
EDIT: also you may just skip the current generation of qualcomm Gen 1 it has many issues, namely thermal throttling, battery draining etc.

I don't know the exact time but since my old mi 5, that i gave to my dad, is still receiving update (ffs this is a phone from 2016) I can safely assume it will be supported for many years to come.

I talked to dev and he basically threw his hands tryimg to fix stuff that isn't working.. He says he wanted to implement fixes that arrow has but was refused...
Touch is horrendous on lineage , it lags behind and gets stuck a lot in scrolling... These things you don't notice at first , you have to use it for a while in order to notice but when you do is a huge deal breaker.
Not even just scrolling... You notice micro stutter as you use the phone - micro stutters are fkin hell. I was happy with it at first only to have to uninstall within 1/2 hours when I noticed that touch just ain't working right
Don't bother getting this one is my take. You won't geg the features you paid for on aosp - touch polling , temperature , performance , battery charging speed ( You can charge fast forsure but other than arrow all other roms overheat to death during even regular charge speed - 40°C-50°C without anything open ) all is worse than the spec sheet...
My is not even year old but already falling apart ( Backplate lifting off from day one , charging port fkin cracked - the cheap metal they use for the phone frame cracked ... all of this on 0 major falls
Also don't think miui is any better. Bunch of restrictions, they basically hold you hostage and enable 60/120hz refresh rate as they see fit. Some apps like youtube/games are blacklisted and only allow 60hz refresh rate... Terrible thermal engine , that's the major ones at least. Everything else you can live with for the price point but the utterly lacking perfomance + restrictions on refresh rate and even touch polling unless you specifically tell it not to in certain apps are not worth dealing with.
I miss my old phone , I'd go back to my 60hz older gen phone rather than have a phone that jumps in between 60/120hz as it sees fit or the same deal with perfomance - throttling to hell with terrible performance under load

PixelOS is currently the most functional one i've tried between (ArrowOS, PixelPlusUI, crDroid, Lineageos). Has a few more features than ArrowOS and battery life is just a bit better
I am just happy with CrDroid
a lot of roms are decent and stable, but official doesn't mean perfect. close to stock, Los is a good Choice but a11. on a12, arrow os and syberia are great choices if you want aosp experience with little extra tweaks. for high customization, crdroid is a great choice (very active devs). I am currently on ancient os (not available on xda it seems) to be which has high customization and the smoothest ui and ux I've seen till now, ahead of the competition in this area IMO. it has updated drivers and vulkan renderer. has anyone compared last version of ancient with other custom roms in term of smoothness ? does anyone knows if any major rom switched to updated drivers or vulkan rendering as default?

I have between 6 7 hours of sot in mixed use (Netflix, browsing, Spotify, 1hr call, 1hr gaming on parsec). idle drain is great, I lose only 1-2% at night with data disabled. At first I had some drain which disappeared after disabling some Google apps (auto, wellbeing, search, system intelligence...)

In conclusion poco F3 is great phone for customizing ROM. So many great ROM option. I love my CRDroid 8.2 , it had some flaw but it almost perfect for my need. I believe you will also found the one ROM that suit u best. (Heck even miui derivatives are plenty for this phone)
