HTC desire 820 and moto 360 - Desire 820 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Guys,
Few days ago I received a desire 820.i have an annoying problem:when I reject calls from my moto 360,the screen on my phone automatically unlocks. The thing is, I'm not allowed to use my phone at work, and every time I reject a call on my smartwatch I have to go in an area where phones are allowed and lock the screen. Is there any solution for this? Best regards, Smili.

Strange Problem in my HTC Artemis(Pad locked, dial automatic)!!HELP!

Hello guys,
After some weeks i have noticed a strange problem with my device and i really can't solve it, or figure out what is the problem( i hope that someone can help me here).
I already changed 3 times my rom version(first was the original german one from o2), then i tried out two more.
So, resuming the problem is that. Whenever i am listening to music(with the media player or whatever other program), the dial pad or the dial speed screen comes out. This doesnt happens always, but very often.
The first thing that i thought, it was that somehow the locking button was being pressed in the right sequence and my phone was unlocking and coming into this screens. For my surprise i saw that the screens were coming even with the phone currently LOCKED. By the way as i said is always the same screens. Or the speed dial one or dial pad!
Does anyone have any idea about this problem???
Thanks!
Cheers
Felipe

[Q] Vibration and Exchange Mail of the Desire

Two years ago I bought the Xperia X1, and it was all problems. One of the main mistakes (which you won't test when buying a phone) is the vibration.
I'm a student and have many colleges so I always have my sound off. Since I have my Xperia (this month two years) I always have had it on vibration as well as all the other phones I had.
But with the X1 the main problem is that I miss more than half of my calls. Especially when I'm walking or by bike.
Now I'm doubting to buy the Desire or the Galaxy S, so one of my questions is:
Is the vibration strong enough to feel when I wear the phone in my pocket?
The second question is about ActiveSync and Exchange. My university has e-mail through a Exchange server (so activesync is not running on my pc). So my question is:
Can I use this phone (or android) to receive mail via exchange and that it automatically updates my contacts and especially calender?
Most of the topics I found were about running a special version of ActiveSync on your pc, but in this case I want to update the calendar everywhere (like I can now with ActiveSync on WinMo) and not just when it is plugged in on my pc.
I know it is a matter of personal feeling about the vibration, but if you own this phone can you tell me if you think the vibration is sufficient when I wear it in my pocket?
I have my phone on vibrate only and I never miss calls. Also, the desire does all you mention natively for Exchange (mail, calendar, and contacts all sync ota)
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
your post seems incomplete.. there's settings and situations you forget.. as in using a case or pocket and stuff.. although.. when it's vibrating.. i always feel it. no problems..
Most of the time I'm wearing them in my jeans pocket. The other phone I now have I don't feel when I'm walking or cycling. When sitting I feel it, but most of the time I react more to the light buzzing sound of the vibration.
I'm almost satisfied with the answers, but can some more who have this phone let me know how they feel about it?
Dear All ,
I wan to disable all vibrations when im using General sound profile.
I was able to disable Alarm, ringing & notification , touch feedback and text typing.
But i was unable to find for two things.
1] When i dial a number using dial pad.
2] After sending sms I get a pop which shows my remaining balance. During this popup it vibrates. But if i check my balance manually the popup wil appear without any vibration.
Thanks

[Q] Microphone gain, and vibrate stuck on (O2 v1.26)

As the title says, I have two questions:
Can the mic gain be altered on stock v1.26? Almost everyone I call since getting the One X says they have trouble hearing me - switched to my old HD2 and everything is loud again, so not my connection at fault.
My One X always vibrates on incoming calls, despite that option being turned off in settings. Have I missed something? How do I stop this?
EDIT: actually there is a 3rd question - on the info screen that shows phone number, IMEI etc the phone number is "unknown". On my first One X that was a DOA for screen flicker, it was the correct number. Any ideas why this might be?

[Q] Locked out of Phone - Android Bug

Hello all,
This is a bit of a weird one. I have a rooted One X with Maximus installed and it has been great for months and months. I used the phone this morning and it was fine as well. Then suddenly today, the lock screen changes from being PIN input to voice recognition. I have zero idea how this happened, but basically the keyboard on the lockscreen has been replaced by Google Voice, and even if I speak my password, there is no enter key so I can't get in .
Is there any way of getting in because I don't want to have to reset my phone really. Thanks in advance .
make sure that there is no background noise when speaking your password

Call Waiting Question

I am planning to move to HTC 10, in my Samsung and LG I get on screen notification if am calling someone and he is already in another call, on LG and Samsung I see a message that the other party is on waiting, does the HTC have this feature?
Thanks
I have never seen this feature on any of my past HTC phones.
