I followed a tutorial on sonymobile.com how to unlock my bootloader, I installed all drivers, android sdk and flashtool but it won't work.
When i look on my laptop under devices i see that the driver "S1Boot Fastboot" isn't found. I cant find this driver for the t3 on internet.
Does anyone has a link or know how to fix this? I got windows 10

I'm following the stickied unlocking bootloader and root thread.
I got to step 13. type this into your command prompt window fastboot oem get_identifier_token
It says waiting for device.
I got search in the thread and come across

"waiting for device" usually means the usb bootloader driver is not installed.
Connect your device in fastboot mode. Open your device manager, manually update driver for that "android 1.0".
Attached here both driver for 32bit & 64bit. Use the one that suit to your PC.

I download the driver and follow instructions here

I'm also on Windows 7 64bit.
What you need to try is, hopefully what I remember is correct ...
be on fastboot usb
open device manager, on the "android 1.0" :
update driver software
browse my computer for driver software
let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
android usb device
next
have disk
browse to the driver you downloaded (browse up to *.inf)
it will detect as my htc
next
ignore any error
the usb bootloader driver will be installed
EDIT : Tested.. the above step is correct.

Windows 7 says "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device."
I try using the Google driver from the android adk but that doesn't work either. I also tried letting windows update find it. Those drivers won't work either.
when you are in fastboot mode and connect it to the usb. you should now see fastboot usb. if you do not see "fastboot usb" you are not connected. something with your drivers

Download the latest HTC Sync Manager, it will install all the drivers needed.
Then you can uninstall the Sync Manager if you want to but leave the drivers.

Download latest version of flashtool. During installation, scroll down and make sure you select installation of fastboot drivers. That should work. I had a nightmare of a time trying to get my phone detected in fast boot mode. This method worked for me.

Try this, download and install latest flashtool. Go to the installation directory, find a folder called drivers and run the exe "flashtool drivers". Scroll down and select Xperia Z AND FASTBOOT DRIVERS. Reboot PC and see if your PC detects your phone in fastboot
Also keep in mind, to have adb running, enable Android Debugging on your phone.

You are amazing. I literally spent 2 days trying to figure it out!
hi,
I've unlocked my phone following the method on the wiki of cyanogenmod. But the only command that worked was "oem unlock".
My bootloader is unlocked anyway, I've installed the last twrp and cyanogenmod snapshot. Everything is working fine (?!)
but I don't know why the command "adb devices" shows me now nothing. It's related to drivers ? I try to install drivers via google usb drivers from the sdk but windows 10 don't modify anything.
If anyone can tell me why it's not fully functionnal ?
U need to install the correct driver bro.... Not only google usb driver but also swift Fastboot and adb driver
Trying to unlock my bootloader and I'm having the dreaded problem of adb, fastboot and google usb drivers not working.
Tried the idiotic Sony documented way of installing Android SDK and development tools, tried 15 Second ADB, Flashtool and Minimal ADB installers - after doing all three of these and then running Flashtool it informs me that drivers need to be installed for the device.
Running "fastboot devices" results in no message at all, running "fastboot device" results in a "waiting for device" message.
Any ideas please?

Cool
Now don't forget to backup your TA partition before unlocking your bootloader...
Happy rooting
Hello team,
I've been trying to unlock the bootloader of my device for the last couple of days. I have tried installing the drivers from LG suite, couple of drivers from the forum and google as well.
When i try to type in the command line oem device-ID i get "waiting for device"
According to the internet this is an issue with the drivers.
Can anyone suggest suitable ADB drivers ?
