Looking for Lollipop (5.0.1) Stock ROM - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I need to dirty flash my current ROM in order to get the benefit of a custom kernel... The only problem is that it's stock. I can find RUUs, nandroids, and similar files for factory restore purposes, but can't seem to locate a stock ROM I can simply dirty flash in recovery.
Would anyone happen to know where I might find one?
Much Appreciation in advance!

[Q]Want to SIM-unlock

So upon searching, I've found that I need to be on a stock or stock-based ROM to unlock (using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176719&highlight=unlock )
I'm currently on CM10.1 nightlies, so obviously I need to get to a stock or stock-based ROM in order to do this. Again, searching led me to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33570269#post33570269
This allows me to use ODIN to flash stock touchwiz.
My question is this: is there an easier way to get to an appropriate ROM than using ODIN? It's been approximately a year since I've last used it, and I would prefer to just flash a ROM like I would a new CM nightly. Which ROMs are suitable for me to flash which will allow me to SIM-unlock my phone?
Also, if I make a nandroid, flash the stock ROM, unlock, then restore the nandroid, will I keep the unlock? Or is the best way about doing this: wipe data/cache, flash stock ROM, unlock, wipe data/cache, flash CM?
Thanks in advance!

Look in Android Development for any modded TW ROM and flash that.
I have the same question. waiting for someone to help.

[Q] If I flash this rom, can i go back to my stock rooted 4.1.1

I have a quick question. I am on a stock rooted 4.1.1 att sgs3. I was curious if i flashed this rom/kernal,[ROM/KERNEL][4.4.2] Quantum 3.54 & QuantumKernel 3/7, would i be able to go back to my stock rooted rom if I wanted to? Thanks in advance.
Looks like you are trying to flash a custom ROM. Don't know much about these particular ROMs you mentioned but you need to your research thoroughly on custom ROMs before flashing. You may know most Custom ROMs don't come with their own bootloaders but still have to rely on a manufacturer's bootloader to run. You should, therefore, avoid any ROM that may update your bootloader because this is the only way that you would not be able to return to your previous stock version. If the ROM simply updates the system without mucking with your bootloader, there is no reason why you may not be able to return to stock.
I had an AT&T SG3 on stock 4.1.1 and I was able to flash KitKat (4.4) based CM11 and return to stock 4.1.1 without any hitches. Finally, whilst you are still on stock 4.1.1 I would suggest you take advantage of all the flexibilities offered by this Android version especially free unlocking before you begin tinkering with firmware.
So as long as I dont update my bootloader, I should be fine on going back to stock rooted 4.1.1? Thanks for the info!!
So how do i know what roms dont mess with the bootloader?
Most ROMS do not include an aboot file. I have flashed CM11, Validus, Slim, and Cyanfox and none of these altered the bootloader.
I suggest that you find a ROM you like, unzip the file, and look at the updater script to determine which bootloaders are required to install the ROM on your phone.
Ok guys, thanks for the tips. I just didn't want to get stuck on a firmware where i could not have root anymore or go back to a stock rooted rom.

[Q&A] Flashing stock ROM using TWRP

does TWRP able to flash a stock rom?
if it possible, will it cause any problem?
my device is rooted and using stock rom (planning to flash CM)
a) if you have twrp installed, then just backup before flashing any other roms, then factory reset and restore to go back to factory if needed.
b) you can flash OTA with twrp, and I ma pretty sure full stock roms too. See this guide. There is a thread on xda too, but I don't have it bookmarked.
I hope that answers your question.
P.S.
Remember that you have to unlock bootloader for TWRP, and if you want to use OTA function on stock rom with TWRP you need to fully unroot first.

Thank you very much

Looking for PJ1 Baseband file to flash

Looking for the baseband: N910PVPS4DPJ1
My SM-N910P has N910PVPS4DPJ1 for firmware, but I have baseband: N910PVPU4DPG1
I'm wanting to flash the ultimate note 7 rom, but don't want to brick my phone.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
@MCTW1
I don't think there is a link for just the baseband/modem files, yet, that I've seen. There is a way to make them. You have to repack them, in Linux, in the same order odin flashes them. I could do that for you. But the reason i explained it so fully, is so you'd understand, that the safest thing to do, would be to just flash the whole stock rom! That way it's done the way it was intended to be. You can get the stock files Here!
I know there are quicker easier ways to flash the modem, but I'm a firm believer in flashing the whole rom to get the firmware/modem updated correctly. Especially since your gonna Flash UN7, you should wipe your device anyhow.
So i would backup any files you need to Ext. Sd or PC.
Then odin stock pj1, install twrp, wipe device, install UN7.
If you need assistance with using Odin correctly, just ask!
Good luck!
..............
Thank you both. Much appreciated.

I'm just looking for the stock ROM for PJ1 complete because I am unrooting and giving my phone to someone and I think they would be happier on a stock rom especially with the PRL bug in UN7

Stock Kernel

I need some help. I'm pretty noob with all what is related to kernel and Custom Rom in general. I just wanted to know if using QPST method I restore the stock kernel, if previously I installed another one with a Custom Rom.
And if i doesn't, where can I find it?
Yes, it restores all necessary partitions including stock kernel
