So I'm wondering if I'm the only one who has CID ACG__001 and build 1.33.510.8? There seem to be no RUU nor are there any sign of ota coming soon for me. I'm starting to regret switching carrier to nTelos, and I'm in a 2yr contract too.
HTC One m9
Android 5.0.2
Build 1.33.510.8
CID ACG__001
Carrier nTelos
Not to necro, but.
I just purchased a "Sprint" HTC One M9, it has 1.33.510.8, ACG--001 and appears to be a C Spire phone? No problems unlocking bootloader, or flashing TWRP, but getting S-OFF and a rom has proven to be a nightmare.

Hey guys. Quick question if anyone can help me.
A friend has a HTC One X from Three UK which he has had carrier unlocked by Three UK themselves. I want to know if I would be able to flash the stock Rom onto this device to debrand it, without having to S-Off.
His CID is H3G__001. I initially assumed he would not be able to without S-Off, but I thought I would check my old HTC Hero which was originally on Three UK and then unlocked in the same manner.
The Hero I managed to debrand by flashing a stock RUU, but the CID on that device is also H3G__001. So I'm thinking, if the CID ends with __001, does that mean a stock RUU can be flashed?
Do any of you know what the CID is for a locked Three UK device?
My friend is looking to sell his HTC One X and I'll only buy it if I can debrand it and have it running the stock firmware.
Currently using a Desire HD and iPhone 4, but getting sick and tired of waiting for the upcoming ICS update. If HTC had said the DHD is not being update, then I would have just got the One X..!
My locked three branded phone has the same CID - I don't beleive you will be able to install a stock ruu on this phone without changing the CID.

You can still put a stock rom on the phone by going down the htc dev route but you can't use an RUU.
I have two HTC One M8 phones. One is a T-mobile phone converted GPE. The other one is a brand new unlocked phone I just bought from HTC. I've been having some trouble with my GPE phone not having LTE service where my new unlocked one has full service (T-mobile network). Radio version on new phone is 1.24.21331147A1.09G. Old phone is 1.22 something. Is there a way to pull radio.img off the new phone for flashing to GPE phone? Or is there a flashable 1.24 radio version around somewhere?
Also, are radio images only device specific or are they also carrier specific and/or ROM specific? In other words, does it matter what carrier or ROM for any given radio image?
edit: My One M8 converted GPE is S-off and Super CID.
i bought second hand htc one m8. I think it is refurbished device. It is Sprint i think region .651. it is s-off. Can i convert it to gsm. Cant flash Sprint RUU either. Please help.
Fairly certain I'm going to pick up a 10 once I find one for around $500. The only thing I'm worried about is the carrier version. I'm finding T-Mo ones for a hair cheaper, but I don't want to get locked into the stock ROM or some situation. If I get the T-Mo branded 10, is it going to be like my M8 where I can flash any Unlocked/International ROM on it after root/TWRP/S-Off/Bootloader unlock?
Yes must change CID to super CID or unlocked CID. Then you can flash the unlocked USA Rom. Follow the tutorial in the forum. I have done this with the tmob variant and am running the ruu from the HTC dev site. Hope this helps.
Im not sure i understand everything perfectly. I have just got my HTC10 from tmobile, so its a tmobile us branded htc 10. Unlocked bootloader, S-off'd and did some other crap. Clearly tmobile is lagging on firmware releases. So my question is, can any firmware be flashed on my device now?(like the RUUs on htcdev.com)? Say for specific example, the unlocked/developer RUU? Im sure i would have to write supercid, but other than that, is this a common practice to flash firmware not from the carrier on carrier-branded devices? Will this mess anything up? Thanks
If the "some other crap" that you did was change the cid and mid to match the US unlocked HTC 10 then yes, you can flash the US unlocked RUU. For any RUU you want to flash, make sure the CID and MID match that RUU or it'll give an error. Don't use super CID.. Use the correct CID/MID for the RUU. It won't mess anything up.. You'll still have your Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE with T-Mobile. Enjoy the updated software once you're done.
