I found that they changed some color setting in new kitkat update. Screen become darker and contrast between black and white drastically amplified. To be honest, it looks like new battlefield game and I'm not very happy with it.
The question is how fullscreen color adjustment works?
As I understood that is a kernel function that used for gamma correction, color inversion and the "screen mode".
Is it applicable for all devices or it is something samsung specific?
Enlighten me, please!
It is possible you have the default to Dynamic after upgrading to 4.4.2.
You can change the display color properties in settings, display.
I set mine to movie and leave it, unless I really need to see pictures with proper gamma then I change it accordingly.

Anyone?
I have tried a bunch of brightness widgets. None of them accurately report the brightness levels.
If I press 10% on the widget the Quicksetting slider shows 50%.
Has anyone found an accurate Brightnes widget?
So, I like standard aod, all time on. Clock moves, but battery percentage is always on same spot and it is white...
Is there way to remove it from aod and is there danger to destroy screen with it at all?
Thanks.
And one more question - is there some mod to change white balance and rgb strength in natural display mode?
Thanks
Been using Pixel OS for 48hrs but its without adaptive colors - which adjust screen colors to ambient light and room temperature.
An alternative is enabling night light all day with constant manual change of intensity. Its a downgrade experience. Though it's a fast ROM but without adaptive colors can't risk eye strain always
Try miuivn then. It has adaptive colors option.
ArrowsOS 13 MiPa has adaptive colours as well.
