I was running aokp milestone 6 on my e4gt and a bug i encountered was that the torch flashlight turned on randomly for no reason when the screen turns off. I had the toggle for the flashlight and when the bug came and went the toggle stayed on and could not be changed. Even some reboots wouldn't fix the toggle. Keep in mind the toggle and torch was bugged. Also for some reason the notification light would pulse blue when the phone was off. I don't even know of this is a bug. If any of these have fixes they would be greatly be appreciated. I really like this rom and theseare the only problems i have with this rom besides screen tearing but i fixed that. Also it overheats. Can someone explain the light too.
I've been running LiteROM 0.9.0 for about a week and I've noticed a couple of issues with the rom and I'm hoping someone could give me some advice on how to fix them.
1. QuickPanel does not update. For example if I toggle the data via quick panel, the data connection will turn off but the icon will remain the same.
2. Brightness settings cannot be adjusted. The brightness will instantly revert back to the default settings whenever adjusted. Cannot use auto brightness.
3. Lock screen alarm icon will not disappear whenever the alarm is turned off.
The only way I've found to get rid of these problems is to reinstall the rom with a full wipe. Even this will only solve the problem temporarily as the problems will return after the first restart and the cycle repeats.
please help me.
I'm on 1.1.2.2 and each time i try to turn wifi off it keeps turning on again, whatever i've turned it off from the status bar or from the widget or from the settings or even using an app, it keeps turning on againg.
Hi, I'm in between carriers at the moment, so I'm wifi only. I have put my phone into airplane mode, and enabled wifi. I'm wondering why I'm not getting notifications when the screen is off. Only when it's on do notifications appear to come in. Anybody have a fix for this? I'm running the latest CM snapshot.
Hello,
can someone confirm, that the following is a general problem?
Enable Energy Saving (Via [quick] options)
Turn on Google Maps
Start Navigation to X
Wait for GPS Fix (GPS Symbol in statusbar stops flashing)
Turn screen off
Wait a few seconds
turn Screen back on and quickly watch for the gps icon
On my just-resetted M8 (6.0 Sense 7 - international - full stock) it lost GPS Fix while the screen was off.
As a check, I did the same with Power Saver disabled. Then it kept the GPS fix even when the screen was off.
Now, why is this important:
When using my M8 in my car, Android Auto will turn the screen off when connected to the entertainment system. So when Power Saver is enabled , navigation in Android Auto is broken because it will loose GPS Fix as soon the screen turns off.
Again, with Power Saver disabled navigation and Maps are working as intended.
Does anyone got a workaround ?
tl;dr: Power Saver breaks GPS when screen off
