Hi guys
I Just bought a t2 ultra and im loving this Phone.
But i have some Problems using the Dualshock 4 (DS4) with the t2.
Always that i pair the controller with the Phone it looks to works ok. But after some seconds, the DS4 just works like crazy, like i press one time to the left and it go like 5 times to the left. I cant play any game, like asphalt, cuz it make the car undrivable, any other game is the same.
I already reseted the t2 ultra to factory and the DS4 with the reset button, But still with no sucess.
If someone know how to make this work, please let me know.
Thanks!

Someone?
The T2 Ultra doesn't appear to have official DS4 support. When you go to Xperia Connectivity, you only see the Dualshock 3 option. It happens that by chance the DS4 works with the standard bluetooth pairing procedure, but as it's not officially supported, issues are to be expected. You can wire the DS4 to your phone or if you have the money, you can by a Cronuxmax device that bypasses your phone's bluetooth entirely.
Just to know, i plugged the DS4 in the phone with the OTG cable and it works fine :good:

Hey all, just bought the above, mainly for my iPod touch. But would love to use them on my xplay as well.
However when I insert them it just says accessory not supported and doesn't even play the sound through them. Any way to even just get them working as headphones without the buttons?
Thanks

you could try buying a headphone adapter it could possibly work but to be honest without re wiring them no they wont work.
Every time I connect the headphones It says "accessory not supported". Is there a way to fix this??

Either try taping the headset buttons down ie: play fastforward rewind. See if it still comes up, if it does plug in the headset halfway, until you hear your music. I had the same issue with a pair of skull candy 50/50 headphones they only work doing ^ that.

You'll need an adapter to use 3rd party headphones on Sony Ericsson phones. Take a look at this post right here to explain it a little better.
Dre Beats and Ludacris Soul's don't work on this phone. I've tried 3 types of Beats and a pair of Souls. Even tried the adapter that came with this phone. Still nothing.

My Solo's (non-HD, I prefer the matte finish) came with a second cable without a remote, that works just fine.

Its probably Control Talk then.
I just got my hands on a OTG cable and MHL adapter and love it. This phone set up on a Hd tv is like a mini PC! everything thru USB works fine except the usb receiver for the legit 360 controller. I have noticed alot of people have got it to work on other android devices and wondering if any one has got a fix for us note 2 owners?
My phone is stock and rooted, but unlike others, when I connect my conect my controller I cant scroll around on my home screen or app draw. It acts like it doesnt work at all.but all the lights on the receiver and controller are normal as if it is synced like on others tutorials on this.
Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.

unfortunately i found an expensive solution, but it works great,so thanks to the dev's of the app called usb/bt joystick controller on google play. ive tested this app on my rooted note 2 running the stock 4.1.2 (LTE update). if you have the PC usb receiver , a usb OTG adapter and a wireless 360 controller it works if you get your hands on this app, enjoy. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.poke64738.usbjoy&hl=en
My Xperia M Dual's original headphones work with the phone, but my Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman's headphones don't work on my Xperia M Dual, can anyone explain why & how to get it working on my phone?
The mic and ground pins of the headphone is swapped, that's why they don't work.
You can use a proper 4-pin to 3-pin adapter to eliminate the mic, which of course the mic will not work, or you can find an adapter which exchanges the ground and mic pin (don't know if there is one).
The connection of the Xperia M should be the same as most (if not all) Xperia 2012 devices, as well as Apple ones.
Xperia 2011 range headset using OMTP technology, Xperia 2012 and newer using CTIA technology, so both headset will not compatible.
To use LWW headset in XMD phone, try using Fiio LU1 adapter
try to click the button of your headshet when you connect it to your phone...with some headshets work
If u prefer DIY just change wire connection in your headphone and solder it. I did it and using a nokia hdphne in xperia m.
headphones
try restoring your device
Wait, you got headphones with tje xperia m? Lol, i didn't get anything except the phone, a charger and the manuals :banghead:

This is a hardware difference, old Xperia headphones are OMTP but any Xperia released after late 2012 will work only with CTIA headphones, restoring device won't change anything

I got headphones with my Xperia M dual too...
sorry for bumping into old thread.
secondly, i am not buy-in any logic provided above. i had the same problem earlier. original stock firmware 4.1 supports all headsets. but post updating to 4.2, suddenly headsets stops working except the original (bundled), even sony MDR-zx310 was not working. i am using sennheiser CX275s from last 6 months without any issue on my XMS (4.3). this is the only working headset, rest not headset/headphone is not supporting.
Got a new XA1 Ultra (G3223) and I was hoping to use my old DualShock 3 controller with it for games, especially emulators.
The DS3 does work fine when wired into a PC or my old Moto G running LineageOS, but when I plug the controller into my XA1 Ultra using a Type-C to Type A OTG adapter it doesn't seem to be recognized or work at all.
All other USB devices I've tried work right away when plugged into the the adapter (Logitech wired game controller, flash drives, keyboards, wireless mice)
Has anyone had better success getting any PlayStation controllers to work with the XA1 Ultra? Would rooting make any difference? Does Sony intentionally disable support for their own controllers on some phones for some reason? I know they are officially supported on some Xperia phones, but seems very strange to me that the Logitech controller which is basically a wired DS3 knock-off works perfectly but an actual Sony controller doesn't.
The battery in my DS3 is long dead so no way to try wireless right now, was thinking about maybe buying a replacement battery to be able to use it with the Sixaxis Controller app which I already own, if/when I root my XA1 Ultra that is, but I think you need to wire the controller in to pair it in the first place.. unless that has changed.
Might also just wait and buy the 8bitdo SNES30 Pro when it's released..
I have the same problem, I have been using xperia phones for about 4 years, first a T2 ultra, then a C5 ultra, with those didn't have any trouble using my dualshock4 controller, then I got the Xa1 ultra, and the controller does not work with it. I think it has to do with the fact, that Sony now supports ps4 remote play on Android, but only in their High end phones, I think they (badly) removed the driver in the other phones. That's SO WRONG! probably my next phone won't be a xperia!
