[Q] Can't connect to my home wifi network - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've recently purchased LG G3 (D855) and I'm having issues connecting to my home wifi network. I see my network SSID on the phone, but when I press "Connect", it disregards my request and doesn't connect.
On the other hand, when I press connect to my neighbors' network, it connects immediately and it says "connected".
I've tried resetting the router, my phone and all the regular stuff. What can I do so my phone will use my network and not my neighbors'?
thanks for your help,
liavl

Wi-Fi Connection Problem

I am trying to connect my TP2 to my home network. I choose the network, fill in the info, hit Connect, then it does nothing. It just sits saying Connecting. My router shows it as connected. Any suggestions?

[Q] Wifi issues

Hi, just got my Galaxy Nexus from UK and has a very strange wifi issue.
When I enble wifi, it connects to my home network automatically, but it does not show the available networks, so I can't connect to other networks.
Sometimes, when I'm in an area with a few free hotspots, the phone enters in a reboot cycle and I have to remove the battery, startup and quicly disable wifi, or get out of the range of those hotspots.
Does anybody else hve a similar issue?

[Problem] Wifi acting weird

Hi guys suddenly my HOX's wifi connection crashed. I can turn on wifi, search for connections but I can't establish a connection: it keeps trying to obtain the IP address without success.. I have multiple devices connected to my home network so the problem is definitively the HOX.
When this happened I was on slimkat rom so I changed rom: ARHD, CyanogenMod, stock... still can't connect to my home network and even if I create an hotspot with another device it can't connect to the hotspot ( so it's not my home network fail )..
Any ideas?

G3 does not connect to work wifi

Picked up a new AT&T G3 yesterday. Had no problem getting on my wifi at home. However, I've been unable to get the phone to connect to my work wifi. The phone detects the network, I put in my password, but it just will not connect. I've still got my Galaxy S4, and that phone connects fine. I confirmed that both phones have the same settings, and the G3 will not connect.
I've reset the phone, powered it off and back on, forgot the network and reentered the password, turned wifi of and back on, and still no love.
Any other suggestions before I return the phone?
Restart router? Login to the router and check logs? Wipe router password (no password) then try to connect.
Trying to get that accomplished will be fun. Might just return and stick with my S4.
Mines had the same issue out the box, wouldn't connect to neither mine nor the neighbors WiFi, restarted my router and all has been good...
By restarting the router, do you just mean unplugging it for a minute or two, then plugging it back in? Tried that with the router in issue with and it still won't connect.
I'm having this issue with the wifi networks I have at home. I'll go to the settings, enter my password and it will instantly not connect. However, the NFC tags I have already set up before I had my G3 still work and allow me to connect without issue. Strange. This is on the 16GB D855

Yes. But if router is setup as access point then will be connected to the switch and or firewall. Worth to restart it as well. I recently had this issue with airport express. One way to fix it was change router open(no password) than cannect your phone and then stick the password back.
Just to follow up on this, I was able to gain access to and play with my router settings at work. I changed the network to open without any security, and the phone still would not connect. I then changed the network mode from "b & g mixed mode" to "b only mode" and it immediately connected. Not sure what the difference is, but hopefully our computer guy will let me keep the change.

Phone won't find home wifi

Somehow my phone won't find my home wifi anymore.
I tried turning off and on again both, phone and router. My friend has an S4 Mini, too, and hers connects without any problem. When I go to wifi settings, my home wifi appears in the networks list, but it is marked as "not in range". Occasionally it finds the wifi and connects to it, but only for a few seconds.
I already tried the *#0011# thing (turning off power save mode), but still got connection issues.
