FM Radio Sound Problem ! - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All Users,
I have a LG G4 - H815TR version.
I installed Fm radio apk.
FM radio is running (RDS is running ) but does not sound.
No sound on speaker and earphones.
Have an idea for a solution?
Thank you.

You usually have to use headphones with a built I antenna I think.

Yea on my sprint ls991 i have to have headphones plugged in, but there is an option (at least on Next Radio app) to play sound through the speaker. It just uses the headphones as the antenna.
Sorry i just saw you said you have no sound thru headphones either. My headphones have a mic and one button, 3 lines on the plug, not sure if that's relevant. I dont have a regular set of headphones to try

I m LG G4 Turkey version user..So,lg g4 doesnt have a radio application and RDS FM Radio support..ı ınstalled a radio apk that ı found an android forum.Apk works.I can search fm radi stations and it gives radio stations names but ı cant get radio sound from my mic earphone..İs there any solution?

Radio worked, stations found but no sound avabile

A2DP -> Bluetooth headset problems

I have a SilverCrest Bluetooth Stereoheadset 9300 (Probably a Toshiba Bluetooth headset)
The Silvercrest:

The Toshiba:
It looks the same and has the same accessories with it. So I guess it is the same but that doesn't mathers with my problem
I'm running the cooked WM6 Rom from adewidt (dutch). I have added the headset as an "stereo headset" and as an "handsfree-set" (together). But how can I let the music play by the headset? The first time when I make the sync between the headset and phone, I can listen music on it. But how can I connect to it when I want? If I turn on the headset and activate my bluetooth, it won't make a connection automatically. (my bluetrek G2 headset does make a connection on its own when I turn it on)
And when the headset is connected, it can just suddenly stop playing music. And when I change from song, it adds a half a sec/ a hole sec pauze to it.
So to summarize my question.
- How can I reconnect to the headset?
- Why can it just stop playing my music
- Why is there a pauze between the songs
anyone?

On most roms, you can't... I've tried one that it worked to connect and play as it should... On everyone else, the music skips...

Use this for connect/reconnect:

manos libres = handsfree
update: it doesnt even work as hands free.
When it is connected to A2DP then you should have a small headphone icon on the top bar. If it is not there then you won't hear anything through the headphones.
You need to test the headphones on another device or test another A2DP headset.
You could also try BatteryStatusPlugin which via the options can place a small bluetooth icon in the taskbar at the bottom, and when you click on this it gives the option to reconnect to A2DP headphones. I use this whenever mine becomes disconnected as it saves me having to turn them off and on again.
The 'Ebay' word has me slightly worried for you though!
If it's possible, I would try to update (or downgrade, even) the headset firmware. I once had this problem with my Jabra 8010 and that was the only way I got round it.

MY HTC one x came with beats

As the title says, i didn't think they were doing this any more ?

where did you order it?
From vodafone in the UK
Here's mine OP! I got mine from Vodafone UK too. My friend also got a pair with his, he got it through his brother who works at a Vodafone store. the headphones were a 10,000 pre order offer run by Vodafone. Can't believe they haven't sold more than 10,000 since launch date!!!
God bless vodafone XD, have you had a chance to try them out ? my phone is charging right now so i can't see what they are like.
What is the exact model of the headphones?
They're urBeats I think. They are basically the stock HTC headphone cabling with the in-line remote but with a pair for Beats ear plugs on the end. I tried em out in a phone call and the sound was very muted. the stock headset I got with my Desire HD sound better for voice calls. In music they were alright, my old Shures E3C's sounded better though. The Beats just have more bass is all. The Beats packaging is amazing though!!! Very high quality.

External Mic (for concert/loud recording)

LG Optimus G Internal mic test with loud environnement.
Internal Mic: http://youtu.be/cBLs2AAjoB4
Headphone mic: http://youtu.be/vuQpVPv9yz0
External mic with Adaptator: http://youtu.be/fUcZYjBOJ7o
I have done several tests with my old Galaxy S here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=815074&highlight=microphone
Everything still apply with the LGOG.
So, basicaly, what it tells us is that you can use an external microphone with an adaptator.
For the adaptator, you can make one yourself,
find the Philips DVDP01 like this one and use only the adapter

Or use the 3.5mm trrs to 3 RCA that can be used for portable DVD player, then use an adaptater to go from RCA to whatever you need.
What this means, also, is that you can use the "line in" of the 4 connector to plug whatever you want for your video.
Il most likely make the adapter with the needed connector in the current weeks, I'll keep you posted on the "How To"

FM Radio and Bluetooth audio simultaneously?

I bought a Android head unit and usb-dongle, as an affordable way to run wireless Apple CarPlay. The headunit is a 'Radio KKXXX T1' running Android 8.1. The dongle is from the company Carlink in China.
CarPlay works by starting the app AutoKit which came with the dongle. It communicates over Bluetooth and Wifi with my iPhone.
Most is fine, however I can't seem to listen to the FM-radio in the headunit simultaneously with audio from Google Maps or Apple Maps. So when the FM-radio is playing, the voice directions are not audible. When voice directions are audible, it kills the FM-radio permanently.
I can only play the FM-radio solo, or Google Maps audio solo, but not both at the same time.
Is there a solution to this problem?

you might have to go into factory settings iirc
Try setting one of those navigation apps to the default navigator and set Android to use the supplied TTS (Pico TTS?) as default for the system. Set navigation sound options to Mixing.
Hopefully this will allow the default navigation app to work with the radio on.
