After I updated my Galaxy Tab S to 5.0.2 I completely wiped it and started afresh but I can't pick my location on the zooper widget. I put my postcode in and hit the ✔ and it confirms the location but I can't save it. There is no save tab.
I have even uninstalled the app and the installed it again but it is the same. Never had a problem with zooper before after updating to lollipop.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi All,
Thank for taking the time to reading about my problem.
I have been running S Note happily on my rooted GT-N7100 running Droid 4.1.2 forever. I have been backing up my entries with GoodSync.
I wanted to easily be able to read my notes on my desktop. I saw there was a desktop app which i downloaded and then proceeded to sync with my Evernote (premium if it makes a difference) account. The S Note folders appeared on the desktop app after a while but nothing more (i.e no notes).
Now when i enter the S Note phone app it says "sync notes -- refreshing" and then crashed. and that unfortunately it has stopped working.
I went to clear the cache via the application manager function and discovered i had 2 S Note apps installed (5r14357FV03 and 5r17357FV03). I cleared them both.
Do you have any ideas what is wrong? I don't want to wipe my phone because i really really don't want the hassle because I use it for work.
Do i need to wait for the sync to complete or has it got messed up?
Thnaks for al your time.
I would like to install whatsapp messenger on my samsung tab pro 8.4 that is wi-fi version. However, no matter which version of whatsapp messenger apk file that I downloaded to my tab driver and click open the file, the key of "next" / "install" couldn't work but only "cancel" key goes normal. I don't know why but my friend can install it smooth even at various non famous tabs of himself.
No response of the install key, and couldn't install the app to my tab, I don't know why, can anyone help me to solve the problem. Great Thanks !
I had this problem almost 2 years ago on my Nexus 7 (2012), and my problem with side loading turned out to be too low brightness. Temporarily disabling the Twilight app solved this for me.
An alternative is to restore from titanium backup. Do a backup of WhatsApp from your mobile device and restore the backup to the tablet. This of course, will only work if you have WhatsApp installed on the mobile device. Refer to this link for help with setup http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3054696
Anyone finding the reason for the new update?
I found something the update has changed, after updating the app "Google Earth" last night and then the update seemed to self install (I had been hitting "Install Later" "4 hours" for weeks).
First it is important to notice the Google Earth changes, the new app was in the top of the YouTube recommendations last night, and I wanted an upgrade to Google Earth for a while (in desktop it doesn't play well with touchscrren)=I updated it (on my phone) as soon as I could find it in the play store, like an hour after I watched the vid it showed up there as update.
So the second I updated it it changed the inner workings of Google on my phone and my location got turned on. I was suddenly assaulted with weather info (which I never am) via the lockscreen widget of weather. So I went to "location" in settings and turned it off. But it still said weather on lockscreen.
So then I shut off and restarted, and still there was weather info....this was strange. I never saw the location in settings get overridden from something before. I looked harder under the location, and clicked all the items in there till I found a list of google apps in one of the location dropdowns.
As it turns out, the "permissions" for location in google apps (like play services, google app, gmail, plus a few more) were set to allow location. So I went thru the listed (seven) google functions and apps and shut off their location permission. Some I had to do inside the app permissions (gmail) others I was able to change right inside the location settings.
So then, after I had just restarted a second time, finding NO weather on lockscreen to make sure my changes took hold, I was going to click my google app folder on my homescreen, to check the gmail app and instead the update started. I never saw the usual update request screen and never had a chance to hit "don't install"
So it took about 15-20 min to install the ~25 MB update. Then afters it all seems like normal. I saw and still see, no trace of the google location access problem. The "recent requests" 4 instances inside "location" in settings which was up to 4 during the terrifying moments of location availability by google, and weather info showing, was again like normal, down to 2. The permissions of the Google apps were back to no location access.
So I have a theory that it was to remove the google app changes inside the htc sense version which took place from the (new) Google Earth install. It is a RARE Google earth update, as it hadn't been updated in over a year (and it made no difference in the phone version's MAP, dont believe the lies about detail shown in the promo video).
This could be way off, it could just be that I reached some kind of limit to the "install later" on the update...but that doesn't make sense to me.
Anyone got a similar experience with the Earth app update and the HTC update?
Somethin wrong wit my phone since this update. It is running out of battery already at 80% and same yesterday. Just got up, just barely used it at all for anything.
So, with the recent update to Wear OS on my mobile phone I have found that I wasn't receiving notifications any more. I figured it was something to do with app referencing to the old Android wear instead of the newer Wear OS app on my phone. I reset my phone/watch and from that point it all went horribly wrong. I could no longer transfer apps to my watch (Strava, Keep, Spotify, etc) and notifications would not appear on my device.
THE FIX
1) Remove the Wear OS app from your phone and download Android Wear from UpToDown.com.
2) Download the most recently archived version (2.7.0.177669439) and install it (Enable Unknown sources in settings).
3) Open the Play Store app and go to "My Apps and Games" and find the "Wear OS" app update and open the app store page. Select the triple dot menu from the top right of the screen and uncheck "Enable auto-update".
4) Pair your phone and watch again, giving some time for all apps to sync and reinstall.
I've only just completed this myself and so far everything is starting to come back up on my watch like before. You may need to go into settings and tell the app to resync all apps to watch again, but hopefully this has fixed any issues people are having of late like I have been.
Happy trails!
Did you get constant FC messages?
Sent from my Sony Xperia XZ1 using XDA Labs
I wasn't getting any notifications on my watch. So I tried wiping my watch and setting it up again and found it would never sync apps back to the watch. So I rolled back to using Android wear which immediately fixed the issue of the apps not syncing. A positive side effect of doing so allowed me to get notifications again.
I did that and now I have notifications but apps don't syncing. During parring it hangs on ninth app and goes to the main screen. Resync all apps don't work
Same problem here, fresh install and my watch is missing almost all installed apps : keep is present bu not working, google map is missing, ...
Thanks worked for me....not using lates release seem to fix the issue
Doesn´t work for me. Android Wear app FC on XZ1 Compact.
Hey all,
I've recently gotten the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and already gotten around to changing the region to KOO. Now have the latest Tizen 5.
However, I'm having issues with a few things. Most importantly, the Weather app on the watch wants me to add a location, so I click "add", and it tells me to add it on my phone. And on my phone, it sends me to the Weather app settings within the Wearable app, and I get a toast notification saying "Couldn't add location. Connect to a network and try again.". Same happens when I tap on "locations" in the settings manually.
I don't have a Samsung phone, so I have no dedicated Samsung Weather app. Could that be the issue? Or what's the problem?
P.S. the same issue was there on Tizen 4, so it's not a Tizen 5 bug
Nevermind, I figured it out! I installed the Samsung Weather Forecast app from apkmirror and restarted my phone afterwards. Not sure which of those fixed it. Maybe both. But it thankfully works now!
Good to know, glad it's recovered. cheers
