[Q] Any way to get rid of the "Battery Full" notification sound? - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Coming from a Nexus 5 this sound drives me nuts. I usualy come home late, charge my phone next to my bed and go to sleep. In the middle of the night it goes "BLINNNNGGAAAAA!". Any way to get rid of this? It even ignores the "unterbrechungsfreie zeit" (sorry, german phone, I guess "interruption free periods").
Completely muting the phone is not an option.

Jelly Bean Messaging Bug?

My Galaxy Nexus finally got the JB update. I love everything about it thus far, except one thing: It seems when I get a text message while in the default application, it'll play my selected ringtone as it would from ICS, but the one key, and very annoying difference is, I cannot stop the tone from playing. I like to set a 30 second or so long tone for my texts, and while I'm using the app as a text comes it, it sounds off, and there's no possible way to stop it without having to silence my phone entirely, and even then, when I put the sound back on before it's done, it's still sounding off. Whereas in ICS, the notification still popped up in the notification bar like previous versions of Android, but not in JB for some reason? Can anybody please help me out here? How can I stop this from occurring without having to silence my phone entirely?
Use a shorter notification sound or vibrate around folks.

[Q] Notification Screen Flash & Missing Smiles

I have 2 very specific happenings with my Note 2.
1) At (seemingly) random intervals, my phone's screen will fade on and off displaying some sort of notification screen that I can't find anywhere. I must have hit this in some settings menu but don't know where. It has big white notifications for missed calls, emails, and texts, all of which are always 0 on the screen. Again, this screen fades in and out in under a second. I even tried a screenshot, but haven't been fast enough.
2) At one point I noticed the RETURN button from the keyboard was replaced with a smiley button. Now it's gone. How can I get it back or to stay?
Also... I love ellipses (three periods in a row). The stock keyboard auto punctuates after one period and puts a space in there which drives me crazy.
Any fixes or suggestions on any of the above things I've noticed?
Edit: Screen Just flashed at 9:30 - Maybe this happens on the half hour or quarter hours. I'll keep watch
Edit2: HAHAHAHAHA... It just did it one minute later. I've got no clue.
Ok, so I figured out how to activate it.
It's sensor related. I have my phone under a lamp. I move my hand over the sensors and I get this notification screen.
I don't mind it, just want to know where it is in the settings or if this is something you can/can't disable.
My guess is that its for when you take your phone out of a pocket the sensor can show you any missed notifications.
For the record, it's missed calls, missed texts, and battery level.
Found my answer in the General Section for the Note 2
The feature I'm describing is the "Quick Glance"
Now... onto figuring out how to get that smiley button back instead of the return!
I know this is an old post but I am so glad I found this. It has been driving me nuts seeing that screen come on and go away. I tried everything to replicate it. It happened 5 times over the last 20 minutes while I was watching a movie so I googled it and found this. Anyways...thank you!

[Q] Disable Full Charge Notification?

Is there a way to disable the full charge notification without totally silencing the phone? I need to hear incoming phone calls and text messages, but sure would like to not be awakened by a full charge notification.
If you have a rooted phone, you can do it with the G3 tweaks box. Look for it on the play store. Once you get it, look under 'notification tweaks'.
This is ridiculous. How can this sort of nonsense go overlooked before release?
My screen flashes on and beeps numerous times through the night to let me know the battery is 100%

Just so you know, the G3 Tweaks setting ONLY removes the notification bar icon and NOT the damn beeping or vibrating that it's full...
Unless I'm missing something.

Zenwatch seems to vibrate for no reason

Hello, Second day of ownership and I am already having an issue. The watch vibrates, I check it for a notification, nothing there. Awhile later, vibrates again, no notification. Sometimes there is a notification it got from the phone, but 90% of the time it seems to be vibrating for no reason.
I tried to wear it to bed last night but the incessant vibrations were annoying.
Even if it was vibrating when I got a notification,is there a way to tell it not to vibrate for certain hours?
Thanks

Check google fit settings. Mine use to do that but "fit" was buzzing me to get active and get moving. When I told it not to urge me to move the vibrations stopped. good luck?
I don't see Fit on the watch or on my phone? Is it hiding? I went into the watch settings and nothing there for fit? On the phone I have the Wellness app but the option to bug me to move is off so that shouldn't be it. It seems you are on the right track, but I don't know how to find the app?
Thanks

Did you try resetting the watch back to default?
Wellness, just like fit, has a "Remind me to move" feature that will send vibrations. Also, if you have it set to remind you when you forget your phone it will vibrate without any message when it loses connection.

[Q] Constant Beeping noise

So this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I left my phone unattended for 15 minutes and came back inside with some missed notifications-- no big deal. As I cleared the notifications by swiping them away the (new notification sound) beep wouldn't stop. I was able to turn the volume down and start a chat with google from the help and support option, but they couldn't help me. I re-booted and it stopped. What would cause this? My battery level was pretty low-- minus 15%. Has this happened to anyone else??
