I am wondering if the 818P dual sim is a good model to get (LTE band wise) for North American use?
Specifically either Telus or Rogers in Canada or Wind Mobile?
Thanks,

From what I can conclude, the international version (H815) works on all GSM carriers, and it runs on the 850 and 1900 bands that phones need to run on Net10's AT&T-style network. All signs point to it working, but I'm looking for confirmation that inserting a SIM card gets the international version to work. Also, what is the main difference between the international version and a U.S. version of the device? Thanks.

The international version has no bloatware, the (European) variant has an unlockable bootloader, and the international variant supports different LTE bands, though it still includes full support for AT&T's LTE network and partial support for T-mobile (international version is missing T-mobile band 12).
Haven't done Net10 but I do have an H815 running time on Cricket, also using ATT's network.
Hey,
I have a question about the LG G3 Models, In Israel the only model being sold is the D855, I've seen that the D850 / D851 is cheaper for some reason in some stores in the US.
My question is why is there a big difference between the prices of the D855 and the D850 / D851?
Second question is- Will the D850 / D851 work in Israel? I saw that the LTE bands are different in the models. From what I know is that Israel work with 1800Mhz LTE (Band 3 if I'm correct), In some sites I see that D850 / D851 works with band 3 and some say it doesn't. Would you give me the correct answer? Also about the 3G+2G just to be sure it will work in Israel.
Help me

I bought 2 lg g3 that I am taking as gifts to israel on Dec 24th. I ordered both on aliexpress which are both supposed to be D855 model. After flashing firmware and having pRoblems with 1 after flash, I found out it's actually an D850 model that way disguised in a d855 case. I now flashed the proper D850 firmware on it now and it's working in canada now. I hope it will work in israel. I looked at the band's and it looks like it SHOULD work on 4G / lte. 1800 and 2100 are supported in the d850 from what I read. The fact that the Chinese seller flashed a d855 firmware on it and it was working makes me believe it should be fine. I will know soon!
I got d850 and i know nativly it dont zupport wireles charging and no fm radio
D850 works in Israel
JI meant to reply when I came back from Israel in Dec, but got busy. The AT&T D850 I brough over as a gift works in Israel. All Israeli bands are supported and work- 4G too.

Hi,
I have an unlocked vs986 and am going to be in Canada for a while.
Does anyone know if I can get lte up there using a Canadian sim?
I'm New to tinkering at all with smartphones but from what I see in the spec sheet, it looks like the vs986 can Support lte bands 2,4,5,and 13.
The canada providers like rogers, bell,telus...seem to support band 4.
Does that mean I can expect lte assuming I use their sim ?
Thank you

Yes.
Hi there guys!
I've bought a Moto G5 model XT1676 a few days ago, and it doesn't work with LTE connectivity on my country (Argentina)
I've asked the carrier about it, and they told me that my mobile does not work on the same frequencies of LTE antennas.
I knew that on some mobiles you could "unlock" this unsupported frequencies, could it be possible on Moto G5?
Thanks!
looking at the frequencies - none of the carriers in Argentina support lte on the moto g5
Your country uses a different standard of lte to other countries so I dont know how you would get lte working
For example the UK uses
LTE 800, LTE 1800, LTE 2600
Argentina uses
LTE 700(28), LTE 1700(4), LTE 2100 (4)
Unless there is Argentine firmware from a Moto G5 that was released in your country and you know the model number you could try flashing the modem files from that firmware - but if the Moto G5 hasn't officially been released in your country and you imported it or its not fully supported in your country im sorry but I dont know what you can do
Hey guys, currently live in the UK and am looking to purchase the S9, the model that catches my eye is the SM-G965FD*(Asian Model) as I've read the dual sum variant supports dual sim LTE/4G (Both sims can connect to 4G) and hopefully this is simultaneous like the Mate 10 Pro is.
Now I have a question, I know the phone will work on 4G here as I've checked the bands, but I'll be visiting Argentina soon for a month or so and I am wondering if it works there. As I've read that North and South America uses a type of LTE called AWS, I don't believe this is used in the UK or Europe.
Just wondering so I don't arrive there with a local SIM and be dissapointed. Also can someone confirm this variant does support Dual SIM 4G/LTE as the global variant is 4G/LTE in SIM slot 1 and only 3G-2G in SIM 2.
Cheers!
