Well, there are applications that can help you.
DiskDigger and Undelete
Both of them needs rooted device.
They are user friendly.
Just scan internal memory and recover.
Both of them are available on play store.
Just the thing is, the data shouldn't be over written.
If you found this helpful, there's a thumbs up button, just click it

Lol too late xc
I was looking at this one,
We needed a bunch of phones to run Google Authenticator on (so nothing fancy), but for normal use 256MB of RAM is not much.
I come across the HTC Explorer, which has 512MB, better screen and is around 130eur.
try uninstalling unwanted apps on the system like email, maps, etc. But be careful of what you uninstall! This may lead to boot loop. And bricking you're phone. Try reading google docs. You can uninstall it using Titanium Backup.
If you're memory too low, try partitioning you're sd card.
I just partitioned my sdcard, and used link2sd.
I'm on a stock rom btw, but fully rooted.
After setting it up, it worked fine. No conflicts on start up and the second partition mounted fine.
Only thing that was weird, is after linking all apps to card, there was a mount error, and in log on /data for link2sd, it said phone or resources busy.
Reboot again, and it's fine. I tried it, and booted several times now with no more problems. It's just the one mount error. Perhaps a slight bug but it's fine now.
I partitioned my card with the cwm zip skin done, in developer section (madteamgalaxyY.zip works too)
So give link2sd a try.
I've close to 100 applications installed, and i've still got almost 159mb space on internal memory.
I also removed all the bloat from the rom too, that I didn't want.
So if you're rooted, or know what you're doing, then I'd advise you on the above.
If your not root savvy, then look it up, google it, and research, so you know what you're doing lolz.
I know a lot now, but I'm still only a rookie, and no developer by any standards. Just a user who's more savvy, and not too scared to mess up.
Good luck, and hope that helps.
If your not rooted, just search the forums here for the update.zip. to root it via stock recovery if you're comfortable with rooting, and only if you know what you're doing ;-)
As if you mess up, it's on your own head lolz. I'm just giving advice, based on what I did, to solve the space issue on our galaxy y.
Good luck anyways ;-)

So I need to partition my SD to 2 partitions ?

Yup, like I said. But if you wish to partition your card by computer, then google and forum search is your friend ;-)
But personally, using the cwm zip, on the developer forum section does the job fine. Just search for it ;-)

This list shows which ones are safe and which ones are not. I used this list. I can't remember who posted this list here originally, but I remember bookmarking it. (Apologies to original poster, if I haven't credited you, but I can't remember who you are)
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...=0Ag43oj7rLQP4dENZcmhGN0ZUa3pHSENVeXlqUm5vV0E
That should get you on your way.
And finally if you want my advice, please read FAQ's in the link2sd app menu, in about section and visit the developers site, as there is a lot of information that will help you further, and will help educate you on things you may not be sure on. It helped me, a lot.
I didn't ask questions, when I was learning new tricks, I just educated myself by searching here and via google, as some people moan if you ask before searching, but I don't mind telling if I know or remember lolz.
Anyways, good luck.

you have given him a full tutorial simon. thats a generous of you.
I definetely agree when simon said that google and search menu is our best friend here. please use them before asking anything. most of more experienced user will ignore this kind of post. it is more wise to put any kind of question to the FAQ section. you're welcomed to ask anything there. please don't be hesitate to ask us there.
Yeah right .. search first before asking/posting.. Search engines will always be your bestfriend..

How come your galaxy y has only 160 MB as internal memory? mine has 190 MB.
Another thing
Another thing I noticed is that it keeps telling me my internal memory is low even when the installed apps probably occupy only about 35 MB.
I'm considering doing a factory reset.

And I would like to know if it is possible to set up phone to vibrate when contact (which I am calling) answere his phone.

Application Manager -> All. Select Media Storage, and clear data. Reboot the phone. This will force the system to rescan all media files.

Use Kies
The same thing happened with me, and the only workaround I found to fix this problem, is by copying the pictures from phone to computer, then used kies to copy the pictures from the computer back to phone, and it worked.

Might I suggest, sadly, the last two options:
Completely delete the entire SD card. If that doesn't work, format your phone. If you're rooted, backup any NECESSARY data, (no options, settings or anything like that, just in case it's related to the settings, but you can make a back up, just don't restore), and then reset device to factory default and see if that eliminates the issue.
Wait, are you rooted? On stock Android Galaxy Note 2? Or do you have any special changes done to your phone?

Are you on CM10?
I believe that this is a bug that has been hitting Samsung phones. It's either, a) a fault in the MMC chip, or b) a CM10 bug. I've had that happen 3 times to me, the 1st time I had no backups and lost over 10GB of media from my External SD Card. The other 2 times I was prevented and lost everything but had a backup. So protip : backup each time you have something new on your phone. Better safe than sorry.
Now, download this program and run it. It'll recover almost all the deleted photos from your SD : http://www.piriform.com/recuva

Hi, I dont know if I have CM10 :S .. i only know that I have anything as brand new (stock rom).
I found a solution but it`s not 100% working.
I downloaded Fish bowl gallery and go in setting>advanced>find missing photos> and than I select the maps where the photos are but are not shown in the stock gallery.
I waited till photos are added and now i have 100 photos (of 117 total) added in my stock gallery (but i still does not have other 17 photos)
Thank you
You should return your phone. If your pictures aren't showing up even after flashing an official rom then something is wrong.

HTC One M9 "cannot save to storage" errors

Hi people ,
I'm on viper one is ROM on the M9.
I'm having a very annoying issue.
Every time I try to download a theme from the theme store , or download a swiftkey language pack or theme , or even a zedge ringtone, basically anything related to saving something to internal storage , I get the errors in screenshots. I really don't know what to do so any help is appreciated.
I have 15GB free so its not a space issue.

Have you already asked this in the ViperOne-Thread? Maybe the developers of the rom can help you.
Try unmounting your sd card and then downloading. I had a similar problem a few months back.

When I flashed a custom rom and changed my firmware it just went away permanently. But I honestly don't know what the actual fix was. For the first month I owned the phone I flashed just about every rom.
Edit- guess I should've read a little better. You're already on a custom rom. First thing you have to do is delete a couple (5 mb worth) of non essential items from your phone. The try downloading SD maid pro or something similar. If that downloads than it means your cache is full. Run SD maid pro and it will clear up all that "free space" that's not really free... If that doesn't work let me know and I'll we'll try to figure something else out.
Edit edit- or you could just go to recovery and try wiping only your cache and see if that works.
