Images and Video folders + streaming media

Good evening all of yours!
After many read threads, i make up my mind and start this new one cos i don t find find any good solution...
Is it possible via registry or an applicationto specify in the HTC launcher a particular folder for images and videos? I would like to open all the images and videos i record on storage card.
Then i found already things about the problem but no solutions really about the way to configure streaming media to open onlines videos like youtube and so on...
I had this configuration once after flashing rom and then i flashed again and i don t have it anymore!!

Firstly the second post from you is not a way to get attention, this is a forum and expecting an instant response is extremely arrogant.. please let people have a chance to see what your request is before coming back and wasting spacing on questioning why you were not answered. secondly i would hope that with your arrogance may come the miniscule amount of intelligence it takes to do a search.
So for the first part of your question
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"FileSyncPath"="\\Storage Card\\My Documents"
now all your images and videos will save to the storage card and will by default open from there. From here you should be able to figure out where you need to go in registry to tweak the default file locations.
AS for streaming I have no idea but I am sure that the internet connection you obviously have will yield a result thru some search engine...just like the 30 seconds I took out of my life to get the above result which you should have been doing yourself.

I replied to my own post about 5 hours after because i m looking for a solution to this little problem since a while, and yes, was impatient to have a solution!
Thank you for your answer to my first question but you see, my post is not so useless as you are not even able to find a solution to the second one!!!!
And what do you reply to the new ones who keeps asking about the stuck with the bootloader after 1% doawnloaded??? do you shoot them up like you did to me??!!!!
Honestly i don t know who is the most arrogant beetwen us!! So i hoppe that you wont be bothered yourself one day with a little or big problem because if everyone starts to answer like you did, you wille be stucked a long time...

Artemis Touch 4.01 Not keeping time & other bugs

Hi, any one know why my clock constantly slows down and I need to set the time again ? It is not an active sych issue... it just slows down.. looses time..
Everything seems to be working other than that on my arte110....
But.. the touch cube/ flow stuff... would be nice if there was some instructionst on that because I dont see any of that happening on my phone even though I got it set to default in the touch flow settings....
No animated cubes or other stuff inn navigation.... Not sure what it is exactly supposed to look like...
the only animated feature is the contact list and the opera mini , as a page loade it slides in... cool,
But other than that opera mini sucks...
it can hardly search this forum.....
and no tabbed browsing or selecting, copying text...
it is however very fast.
And isnt there some sort of function holding down the buttons to the phone vibrates? Would be nice to know about how that works....
Zoom on the camera doesnt work at 2 mp setting...
media player part of the home screen seems non functional...
And what is this hibernation feature?
BTW, it seems that when my screen is dark the phone stops keeping time...
I hope I am not missing any calls durring this time....

Can't comment on that, mine keeps time quite nicely

The TouchFlo configuration utility clearly lists what you have to do to make it work, the best setting for me is the top to bottom option, never fails

considering it's a beta, it's a million times better at browsing the web that Pocket IE. Can't expect everything and surely not from a beta at that.

The first post to Touch 4.01 defines which hbutton command are set by default. You can add your own extras from the hbutton commands in programs

I use mine EVERY day, works fine, where it says 'launch music player', press it, it'll work just dandy.

Frees up extra ram, that is all
You just need to take the time to explore the features this ROM has, there are a lot of applications included, some may not be to your taste, and others you'll think are fantastic(like hbutton), if there is a specific application you need to find more about, try searching through the forums or on google, there is a lot of information out there regarding most of the applications, unfortunately we can't expect Meschle to produce a lengthy instruction manual detailing each and every single aspect of his ROM, part of that is the expectation that the people using custom ROM's should be able to figure out the nitty gritty details.
Of course the forums are here to answer questions, but it is also a repository of answers to the questions already asked. The TouchFlo one has come up many times.

Google Music Beta on tp2

Hello everyone, I'm a total noob here, and I have been searching my butt off trying to figure out how to try and get the music beta app working on the TP2. I am running froyo7. It seems that in my build. android market thinks that my phone is a Mid-Tex Cellular, when I am actually a sprint customer. Now before anyone say "search" I have I have been reading up how to edit my build.prop, watching youtube videos on how to as well, with a lot of google searching on the side. I am getting most of my info for different phones and don't know if these codes will work.
In my search the closest that I found was this quote from this thread...
"When using this ROM my device shows up as "Mid-Tex Cellular" on the Android Market.
Is there any way to change this?

change the line in build.prop that is closest to this to this:
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-google-us
it should have come as this out of the box
ro.com.google.clientidbase=android-sprint-us"
When I look in my build.prop I can't find anything close to this?

Well first I would simply try adding that line to your build.prop. Just because it isn't there doesn't mean you can't add it .
As for Google Music, I am a member of the service but haven't messed with the app on my phone. Only listened to it on the webUI. I guess I need to try on my phone .
Edit - did you just try installing the apk directly? Seems like a much easier solution...

Edit 2 - just installed that apk myself, works fine. For some odd reason I can only get it to show local music tho, I don't see any of my music that's "in the cloud"... hum.

hey,
check whether your google account sync in settings is syncing to google music. also for me, I had to restart my phone to get the app to realize that my google account had music beta.

I checked the sync settings, that was my first thought.
I'm leaning towards your second suggestion, since I haven't rebooted since installing it. Thanks for the suggestions.

I also had to do some crafty work clearing caches and such to get it to pick up my online account

i went into the application manager too in setting and cleared the data for the application too.

This is what I am talking about with the Mid-Tex Cellular, I have gone to the web site, the market etc... and it wont allow it to install. So this is why I was thinking about changing the build.prop, but I don't exactly know how to... I have searched, but I don't know if I can just add some random code from my first post and have it work?

Fine! Be that way... Now I don't need to because it seems to be working perfectly. The sound out of the headphones is great, but the external speaker is really quiet. All in all, God I love android! Thank you everyone.

Install any app on your moto360!!!

Not sure if this is already a known thing or not but I wanted to share my latest find.
You can install any apk onto your smartwatch! This works for any smartwatch on Android Wear. Now I won't take any credit for discovering this it all goes to the guy who posted the guide. I can't post links yet since I'm a new user but if you Google corbindavenport you should easily be able to find the guide.
In the guide there's a very detailed guide as to how to install any application, what you can and can't install and even links to apps that would add a lot of functionality to the phone like an app which rotates your other applications by setting their orientation and an app that keeps the watch on at all times or even lengthens the watch's on-time before it fades.
I've personally gotten the orientation app and temple run working on my watch. If you've already installed Microsoft's keyboard you should know what to do.
Here's to many more discoveries to come. I'm in love with this watch and it seems every day I find something new to add to the love.

If you turn on watch always, battery will go down around 1% per minute. Just to share with others.
Since now can install any APP on watch, now I try to find a music app can work so I can push all local songs to watch to play. The google music player is not easy to control even can upload my own songs but not efficient. So far I tried different app none of them can run on watch. So if anyone fins one please let me know.

If you just want to keep the screen always on, you can download Swipify launcher from the play store, click on Quick Settings and click Screen Always On.
It actually works pretty well, because you can still turn the screen off manually (by covering with your palm), and it will automatically turn on when you look at it and stay on until you turn it off manually again...

Has this been patched with the latest Wear update? I'm trying to get this to work with my Note 4, and the part where you forward the adb to the watch

each command processes without errors but also no confirmation
after that the instructions suggest that doing adb devices will show the watch, but it doesn't on my end, only the phone still
so when I try to install the apk, it says "error: device not found"
so either the Note 4 is blocking this or the Wear update is

Did you enable USB debugging on your Note 4 and enable bluetooth debugging in the Android Wear app + watch itself? You could also try running 'adb kill-server' and try again.

Thanks for helping me realize I was an idiot. I totally skipped over the Enabling Debugging on the watch part. Seems to be installing now. It's been a good 5 minutes and this thing is still processing, rather than give me the error messages from before. Let's see if it works in the end

device unauthorized please check the confirmation dialog on your device
I have ADB debugging set on watch and phone and Bluetooth debugging set on watch.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the recommendation.
I have install ths apo before and never find out how to make always turn on works. After read your post I install again and finally find it is the first let icon in quick setting screen of it.
It works welk but the problem is this luncher always sometime crashed. So I maybe keep both solution. Since the screen on app installed by adb have one option can set.on time for how long which is nice.

Why didnt I hear about it Before !?
Actually I'm looking for a shazam like on thé moto 360... Guess I'll install the shazam apk directly on thé watch !

I'm in no way affiliated with the app, but I found "Wear Music" on the app store (it is way down the list even when searching with the exact term) that is a standalone music player, and lets you transfer music to the Moto 360. Very well done app. It's a paid app though.

I am thinking of getting this phone. Can anyone tell if the device works OK with k9-mail? I read that many mediatek devices stop external apps...

Hey brother, I have the phone and have been using it for some months now. It does limit the background apps, but contrary to Xiaomi and other chinese brands, it's really easy to stop the phone from doing so. There's a configuration on the device's settings called Performance Optimization that you can use to limit or unlimit app background activity. You also have the option to completely deactivate the feature and let the apps run on the background at will. Here are some screenshots that I took to better show what I'm talking about (the apps are censored for security/privacy reasons)
